worst lyric ever. That one line kills the song for me. She could have sang "come join the party" and it would have fitted just fine, but sing ladedadee is just senseless. So.... "I'd rather be your lover " *skip* "Don't Stop" *skip*, oh hello "Inside Of Me" ! I hear ya ;)

It’s so frustrating. I’ve been a fan since 1990 and I’ve watched madonna hit the top 10 again and again. The UK LOVED Madonna big time. So to see her miss the charts now and fail to gain the attention she received in the past is so sad. But UK radio wont play her!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Some journalist has feast on the scraps of this thread to produce an article taking pleasure that the new Madonna single 'bombs' in the charts and is disliked by her hardcore fans. It's the familiar 'Madonna isn't relevant' so let's write an article on it to prove the point, and paradoxically show she is still noteworthy. https://guardianlv.com/2019/04/madonnas-new-single-medellin-bombs-on-spotify-and-itunes-beyonce-rules/
  5. Oh I think Immaculate was really well put together, unlike celebration and GHV2. It is a coherent sounding album albeit not all the remixes have aged well (for instance like a Prayer and express yourself), but it’s a shame that a lot of the songs were edited down so much to fit them all on a single 74 minute CD. I also struggle with the exclusion of Dress You Up which is my favourite single from LAV. I do prefer the IC versions of Holiday, Material Girl, Live To Tell, Open Your Heart and Vogue but prefer the original versions of others tracks like Into The Groove and Like A Prayer. All in all though The Immaculate Collection will have a special place in my heart always. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The DVD release of "The Immaculate Collection" used the Extended Video Remix which originally featured on the Madonna 1984 VHS alongside the video's for Burning Up, Borderline, and the first edit of Like A Virgin (without the Lion's tongue bit).
  7. Hello everyone Does anyone know if there is a difference between the official DVD release vs the version that was broadcast via showtime?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yep. I've wanted a digital version of this forever but it hasn't ever been commercially released. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There are only three tracks on MDNA that I like: Girl gone wild, I'm addicted and falling free. For me it could have just been an EP! Lol. And dont get me started on Hard Candy! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I actually like your alternative version @@Turuncan ! What happened to bitch I'm Madonna? Completely omitted? For me, a perfect album should be quality not quantity and that's what made Madonna's earlier albums so special. Usually around 8 to 14 top quality tracks. 23 tracks on rebel heart is just ridiculous and unlistenable and the whole Rebel/Heart dance/ballad split doesn't do it for me. I don't like the production on a lot of the tracks. Bitch I'm Madonna sounds unfinished (just my opinion). Wash over me sounds like a demo, and Iconic has terrible lyrics (a bit of a cliche heavy updated "like it or not" ) and I hate the production. The demo versions were better of some tracks - rebel heart and messiah. My choice would be: Living For Love Devil Pray Ghost town Unapologetic Bitch Hold tight Heartbreak City Joan of Arc Best night Messiah (demo version) Rebel heart (avicii version) Overall it isn't one of my favourite albums. I rarely listen to it. The only standout tracks for me were devil pray and ghosttown. Living for love is my least favourite lead single alongside Give me all your luvin Sorry for the negativity! :/ I'm sure the album brings joy to lots of fans, but not me on this occasion! 11. Holiday could have been No.1 in the UK but it was held off the top spot in 1985 by Into The Groove!! I agree with what you said though - some songs are promoted way more than others. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Rescue Me was released in the US as the second single on 12 Feb 1991 before the re-issue of Crazy For You in Europe on 24 Feb 1991, so Crazy For You used the original Rescue Me artwork (and not the other way around). In any case I love the unique picture sleeve with the white background for Rescue Me when it was finally released in the UK. It's one of my favourite single covers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. It's a shame. Rain and You'll See are amongst my favourite madonna songs of all time :/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Oops my bad! I should have been more clear - I'm referring to the bridge which is at 3:12 on the original version. It links a repetition of "what you need is a big strong hand" plus the line "and when you're gone he might regret it" which both occur earlier in the song. On Immaculate version in cuts at 3:06 back to the chorus and omits this final bridge completely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I made an alternative cover for GHV2 some years back, re-jigged the track-listing, adding missing tracks 'Rain' and 'Nothing Really Matters' and replacing 'Drowned World' with 'You'll See'.
