  4. We did it guys, I'm so happy. This will probably be my only chance to see her live. I'll be there and will bring my mom who introduced her to me. She was also never able financially to attend one of her concerts, I'm so happy to be able to make both our dreams come true.

  6. Look at this guys!!! Jonas Åkerlund was (I think) directing the filmation of the cameras last night, Is this a clue that the concert film is being filmed in Los Angeles and that Jonas Åkerlund will be in charge of directing The Celebration Tour concert film ala The Confessions Tour 2006?

  7. Ok, credit must be given where it's due, that's an amazing release! 2 vinyl only remixes + the live track from TGS! AND they went with the most beautiful cover (imo) for the single, even if it's not the US one, the one they usually go with. That's the reissue campaign we were once happy about! + Full size artwork (4000x4000):

  10. I an still catching up with some messages here, but all I can tell you is that Madonna was FABULOUS in San Francisco. She gave it all! The first night I was in the right pit, so I had eye contact with her at least 3 times. I blowed her a kiss during Bad Girl and even stretched my arm, but she would just continue with the song. Later on, she gave me a BIG smile just before finishing Take A Bow cause she knew I was singing at the top of my lungs She's enjoying this tour so much you can feel it in her energy. I am not totally sure about it but wasn't the right pit originally called Sound Factory? The guards gave us all the blue wrist bands that say Danceteria, so we were all confused lol I got last minute tickets for the second night! Floor 8, row 10, seat 5. Just a few meters from the tip of the main catwalk. I had the opportunity to see the show from another perspective. This tour is among her Top 3. It's undeniable. She's revisiting her past in a way that doesn't look cliché (hi Cher! lol) and it works!! The general public and casual fans adored it. I could hear no complains this time around. It's just us hardcore fans criticizing every single note. Last night Madonna sang CAC but didn't like how people in the left pit sounded so she turned around to our section and was satisfied. Also, she was chattier than the night before... and even told us a story about the time she visited SF as a kid and the first time she started wearing tampons lol Express Yourself is definitely the best change she's made since the beginning of the tour! And the new DWT skirt plus the black corset were present both nights. I am leaving the States next Monday morning. Broke but extremely happy to have seen and sung and danced with the Queen once again!!!! I've been uploading several videos from night 1 and 2 to my Instagram! I filmed night 2 almost in full. https://www.instagram.com/misterbravou?igsh=cm8yOW1xcGp3MzNl x

  11. I'm gonna tell you about my fourth and final show of this Celebration Tour ❤️ from Europe to SF. I decided to go for a different concert experience: no smartphone in hand and watching from the stands (I was quite low and central). The Celebration Tour might be more enjoyable from the stands, especially since I'm not that tall: other times, I could barely see her even though I was right in front of the stage. Plus, the sound from the stands is way better, I could hear her voice much more clearly. I must say, even without any surprise element, this was the show of the tour I enjoyed the most. This tour is an absolute blast, a whirlwind of nostalgia and fresh energy combined! It's like stepping into a vibrant collage of Madonna's most iconic moments, reimagined for today. And there's a story in it. A testament to her enduring legacy and a reminder of why she's been the best popstar for decades ☺️ Tonight was fantastic ❤️ I'm glad I got to say goodbye to this tour in such a way. The whole experience has been incredible, being here in SF feels magical to me. I'm head over heels in love with this city. And it's amazing that I'm in such a place, on the other side of the world, watching Madonna again, right here. The show's flaws are the same as always, I don't like the lack of a live band, I still don't like the final part, her voice isn't in the best shape, she obviously butchered Take A Bow, as I expected 😅 I noticed that the audience was more in tune than she was during that song, drowning her out 😂 But who cares, I'm still happy, and I expected it, so no big deal. No, her voice during the BAT wasn't worse at all. It was a thousand times better than it is now. She simply used to sing solo a lot more. Yes, there were Niki and Donna, but when they weren't backing her up, she was on her own. Here, she's hardly ever alone; she almost always has heavy backing vocals, especially in the choruses. Maybe it's like this now because she's somewhat disconnected from music and has shifted her focus to the performance aspect, especially now that technology can lend a hand. Maybe it also has to do with her singing alongside a guy who talks over her. I don't know, but it's all good. I'm really happy! I'm fully aware of all of Madonna's flaws. I critique her sometimes, acknowledge the shortcomings, and think she should work on them, but I love her just the way she is, accepting that she's not "perfect". Sometimes we're worn out by the time we hit 40 and struggle to take care of ourselves, let alone at 65. And sure, at 65 she might have neglected a few things, but she's still incredibly strong 💪 Ah, and I got to meet one of the dancers 🥹 I don't consider it one of her best tours, but it's still wonderful. She's happy, energetic, and relaxed, kind of like at the RHT. And I like seeing Madonna like this! Oh, and she sang Old Town Road before Burning Up 😄

  13. So just got home from the Dallas date today. Ended up getting some end of the catwalk front row tickets for $296 a piece and took my friend and mom with our old tickets. DJ Mary Mac was the DJ tonight before the show. Lukewarm reaction and kind of dozed off on the set like I did back on MDNA. The mixes were very meh. Madonna came around after 10 tonight. Very interactive. Mentioned she was starting the show on a bad mood. Her voice was a bit hoarse tonight and noticed she missed a couple of cues during some songs. She almost whacked herself with the mic stand during Burning Up. No Causing a Commotion tonight. The first opening act was glorious live and especially Live To Tell definitely touches the heartstrings. Like a Prayer I ended up loving in person along with the performance and visuals. Erotica was so epic and dark sounding in the arena. Personal favorite of mine and Hung Up brought the house down. She looked at me and my sister during the dance break and smiled at us. Vogue's guest tonight was a drag queen (didn't catch her name) but she walked prior to the show around the floor so it was a given she'd be the best and she did well! Crazy For You got a huge reaction tonight. We got Express Yourself tonight, prior to the song she did her infamous "What's the difference between a popstar and a terrorist?" joke and one guy shouted out the punchline. She seemed shocked and surprised and had a lovely banter with him. I think she was genuinely surprised. Asked us to turn our phone lights on and the crowd sang along. She mentioned the night had gotten better and loved seeing our smiling faces. Bedtime Story (the cube obscured the view) but I loved the mix and how it goes off. Ray of Light was just euphoria from beginning to end. The lights, the remix, the energy!! Loved it. No Rain tonight (though we were in the middle of a thunderstorm tonight) but Take a Bow got a good reaction tonight. The Billie Jean/Like a Virgin interlude got a good reaction and works better live than on video. Still not a fan of the finale but it worked tonight. She seemed in high spirits performing it and having a ball. She missed her veil cue and laughed it off and said goodnight. Overall, it's my fourth time seeing her and my younger sister's first show. Was an amazing ride exploring her rich discography set to the legendary live and career she's lived. For those on the fence or awaiting their upcoming tour dates, you're in for the ride of your lives. Debating tomorrow's show for a two nighter but my god, I'm still on a high! Will try to post photos and videos!

  18. Finally saw the show last night and I have to say that it really exceeded my expectations. The youTube clips do not do it justice. It was well worth the year waiting since I bought my original tickets. The lack of a tour book was a bummer and the merch selection was a bit lackluster but the show it self was amazing. I have access to a garment printer at work, so I custom printed the top I wore for the occasion.

  22. Hello everyone! As part of my YouTube channel, to celebrate the finale of the tour being broadcast live I will be doing a special fan voted awards "ceremony" for The Celebration Tour. Categories will include things like best tour costume, best hairstyle, best song arrangement, best ballroom judge, favourite dancer etc. There will also be a countdown of the best performance from the tour as voted by the fans. I would love if you could all click on the two links and vote in each category! (I promise it should only take you a few minutes.) I will share the results on YouTube a few hours before the show in Brazil premieres http://www.polljunkie.com/poll/eixikp/rate-x27the-celebration-tourx27-performances http://www.polljunkie.com/poll/xnerxx/the-celebration-tour

  23. Last night was amazing. I wasn't expecting it to be good, sorry, the videos I had seen just wasn't doing it justice. But in person this show is off the charts! I got to see bad girl live, plus burning up demo version, those I was looking forward to. I was in the 300 section but man my seats were great, I could see everything just fine. I sat with some really cool people who were having so much fun. We all sang and danced and just were happy! This was a good last time seeing her. Im glad my last tour was such a beautiful experience. Id give this show a 100 for sure. She was off a tiny bit on a couple of songs but really vocally I couldnt tell there was a backing track. You could here her just fine and she sounded great. She seemed really comfortable and engaged with the audience. I wish I could have scored tickets for tonight as well, Id def go again.

  31. As long as the show is professionally filmed and released I'm more than happy but I do prefer it in an arena, the whole production and all the details are going to look much better. But as I said, as along as we get it, I'm not going to complain! Talking about the show production, just the other day I remembered seeing the small mirrors above the center stage and not knowing what they were for, until we realised they refletected the lasers during the Die Another Day performance, it was soooo cool. It's been more than 4 months since I saw the shows and I keep thinking about them at least a couple times a week, I love this show SO much and I'm so fucking proud of her, what a masterpiece

  32. Show was amazing tonight! She started early. Bob was first heard at 9:35pm! She was really energetic. Her speech after Don’t Tell Me was in honor of her doctor from her illness last summer who was in attendance with Guy O. Take A Bow sounded good…in fact, her voice was pretty strong throughout the show, if a little lost in the mix on those early tracks. The guest was Eric Andre. He pulled down his pants to expose his butt for the spanking. She seemed happy to be in LA…I gotta get to bed as I’m going tomorrow night and need some sleep! 😘

  33. It's always nice to arrive in a city and be greeted by Madonna's new tour advertising, and Las Vegas was surely full of it, at least in the surroundings of The T Mobile Arena, which I suppose belongs to the MGM group, as they had her advertising everywhere. I had will call tickets for whatever strange reason, and after picking them up, I was led to a VIP entrance (by mistake), which led me to one of Madonna's security team members, who was a sweetheart and led me to the right way to the VIP table and to the Cocktail Area. There's absolutely nothing VIP there, so I rather went and spent my time on the floor, looking at people and making friends with whoever was entering the pit. I was on the left side, facing the pit. The first act up to Like a Prayer: everything is impeccable, she's gorgeous, charming, full of energy, and the production and staging are spectacular. LTT a special mention, it's very emotional to be surrounded by the power of the massive photos; our girl surely conveys emotion in this number. Madonna has grown older, but so have her fans. She looks amazing. I'm always impressed by how small she is. I've been in the front many times in the past, including Madame X, but this time she spends more time in a location not moving around the stage, so that gives you the possibility to actually be in her presence for a longer period of time, which seems so odd and magical. She has been my champion and my inspiration for 40 years, and she's there right in front of me. Second Act Erotica to Bad Girl: OMG!!! Loved everything. It's impossible to see everything as everything is happening all around you all the time. DAD, which Madonna is so good. I didn't like this act in the videos, but live is great. Obviously, "Don't Tell Me" and "Express Yourself" are great too. "Mother and Father" is a very strong number. La Isla is when I think everyone in the arena erupts into a real singalong. Now is when things get a little messy. BS, which I love, is a WTF moment, compensated by the incredible ROL, which you need to see the front of the stage to see the dancers and the whole laser display as it's spectacular because if you follow her flying around the air its impossible to capture the whole performance, and then TAB, which was understood as a closure to the show, but this whole section is one great number in the middle of two wtf moments, which arent bad but you know what i mean. MJ interlude gets people going, and BIM too, I would love for her to have a little more interaction than Thnak you Las Vegas but she has already had two big crowd interactions previously in the night. The second night I was on the other pit, which I thought was going to be less interesting, but how mistaken I was. It was a much better perspective of the show and a much better show in general. The crowd was very much into the show the second time around. In the arena, she sounded great. I'm glad I'm so tone-deaf that I truly enjoyed everything she sang and got emotional just by hearing the oldies and being in her presence. Its an amazing show, I still have to rate in my show ranking but it surely will rate high enough. MADONNA THANK YOU FOR SAVING OUR LIVES ONE SONG AT A TIME FOR THE LAST 40 YEARS I LOVE U

  34. I was at both Dallas shows, so here are some small things I noticed: Night 1: -She started about 15/20 min later than she has been these past few weeks and I didn't really think anything of it until... -During the Burning Up speech she said she was in a mood, but I think she played it off really well and even told the crowd she was feeling a lot better during the Express Yourself speech. -During Celebration, she was saying her thank-you's and she made a very vague apology to Bob, like "Thank you Bob, and I'm sorry for that thing that happened". I wonder if something happened before the show between the two that put her in a funk? IDK, pure speculation. -The show was PHENOMENAL! I was at the 3rd row after the end of the catwalk so I saw her up close during Hung Up, Don't Tell Me & Express Yourself. Seeing her so close almost... humanizes her in a way? Not sure of the right term, but I just kept thinking "Wow, she's 20 feet away from me. And she's just a normal person". You get so used to seeing her in wide stadium shots on DVD and on TV performances and think she is this untouchable entity, but when you're that close she just feels so normal. Like performing is just her job, she just happens to be incredibly good at it. I'm still on a high from seeing her, so this probably doesn't make much sense. Night 2: -I was in the 2nd row of the highest section, so I got a more birds-eye-view of the show. Both floor and upper levels have their strengths and weaknesses. -She was in a GREAT mood all night, and I felt was a lot more chatty with the audience. -Her voice was a little more hoarse than normal so it cracked a few times. Nobody seemed to care. -During both shows, she really stressed her love of being a mother. I think she said night 1 was David's birthday so I think she was in a reflective mood. -Some of the things you think might not really work, surprisingly do when you see it live. I never hated the ending, but thought it could be improved. However, the audience went crazy with all of the reincarnations, so I think it kind of distracts from some of the weaker points of the encore. OVERALL, 10/10 concert. Super looking forward to any streaming/video release so I can re-watch in pro quality.

  37. I second that. It's funny how no one ever claims to be the new Michael Jackson but every week/ month/ year there's always someone to take credit for what Madonna has built over 40 decades of purely hardwork. To me it's not any kind of homage at all, it disgusts me.
