As a Brazilian myself, I'm not even going to entertain the idea of replying to you, because I would probably be banned. Having said that... For the other fans that are truly excited, let's keep the positivity going! "American Pie" had been a massive UK #1 and one of the monster hits of that year in Europe, so putting it in was an extremely smart commercial decision that helped the album selling more than 11 million copies worldwide. I'm very surprised she was so against that, she's always been smart with business - except for the reason she didn't want to share a cut of the album sales royalties with Don McLean for a song she didn't wrote. Also, it's not like sonically "American Pie" it's miles away from the rest of the album, especially the Orbit tracks. It's literally the same vein. When "Music", the album, was released, it already included two monster smashes: "American Pie" and "Music". Add "Don't Tell Me" weeks later and you have one of the biggest album sellers that Fall. Hit singles sold albums back then. Honestly, "American Pie" should have been even on "GHV2" too, but let's not go there.

So last night was incredible. It was my final show of the tour and I saw it from the Danceteria Pit. Today I'm very nostalgic, a little sad, and so so grateful! I'm going to miss this tour so much!! She was super chatty last night! At one point I looked over to other people in the pit and said, "I can't tell if she's in a good mood or a bad mood!" And to that somebody said, "She's in a Madonna mood!" lmao. She did mention being tired, but you couldn't tell. She sounded great and her energy was spot-on. A couple of my pics:

Still fresh. I also remember my first listen and be surprised but happy overall. Everyone (me included) expected the usual Maluma dirty reggaeton smash, but instead she gave us this smooth, cool, almost nostalgic song. I also liked that sonically it was something different for her, right where "Body Shop" had left in the previous album. She tried something different. I took a pill and had a dream... The video is still one of her best of last decade and I'd even say one of her best ever... And the chemistry between them was always cute to see: Slow down on the criticism, papis!

She's still in a good shape and from what i've seen at the latest florida shows, her movements have even improved these past few weeks. I'm begging everyone to stop acting like she's senile and focus on how great she's actually doing on this tour.

I think A LOT of people, including fans, were really questioning her stamina going on tour so soon after her medical emergency. And look at her now, zero cancelled shows, a bonus free show for Brazilian fans... the bitch is now unstoppable. I would imagine she's exhausted but a part of me feels like... this is just the beginning. She's absolutely proven her worth. People can pick apart shit but facts are facts, she's still got it. There's no way she's stopping now. This tour is probably the BEST thing that could happen to her right now. I'm so excited for what's next!

It was 5 years ago today that we first heard Medellin on Zane Lowe, and it was released. I still remember downloading Apple Music to listen to it on my way home from work. It got a mixed reception from fans I think but I think it holds up really well, it's absolutely packed with hooks.

"Medellin" isn't just a song to me—it's a piece of my life. Back in 2016 when I was 20, I left my tiny german hometown to spend a year doing voluntary work in Medellin. That year changed everything for me. I picked up Spanish, fell head over heels for Reggaeton, and had the kind of adventures I'd only ever dreamed about. Medellin was also where I first really got to embrace my identity, amazing parties and meeting my first boyfriend. It was wild, freeing, and eye-opening in so many ways. Fast forward a couple of years, and Madonna (who I've been absolutely obsessed with since 2005) drops Medellin with Maluma, who was my Reggaeton fave at the time. It felt like the universe was giving me a nod. The song hit me hard because it was like reliving those Medellin vibes. It's probably why Medellin has been a staple in my Spotify Wrapped for the last five years. It's more than nostalgia; it's a reminder of a time when I felt completely alive and so happy with myself. Honestly, I wish there were demos or anything extra from that Medellin just to keep that magic going. Sorry but Medellín really gives me hardcore maincharacter vibes.

Courtney Love namedropping to get attention. Nothing new there. It's her brand. It used to be Gwen Stefani when she was popular. Courtney Love is such a toxic person her mother abandonned her to go live abroad with her other kids, her father hated her so much he launched and entertained the rumour about her having had Kurt killed, her daughter left her to go live with her paternal grandmother and her husband chose death over her. And all her past collaborators and friends have falling out with her. She has not released a good album in 30 years. The last decent one was in 1998. For someone who was always bragging about authenticity and posers, she's the biggest poser ever. She did that putrid solo album and tried to attach herself to The Strokes, THE rock band at the time, who did not care (even when her ex buddy Drew Barrymore was dating a member of the band). Then she did these beautiful rehab demos with Billy Corgan and Linda Perry but she did not want to share credits with them, Alan McGee wanted to relese the album but backed out because of this. So she tried to self release it on the internet via a Tampax sponsorship on their website but credits were asked again so she removed it. She finally decided to rework them with Marilyn Manson's producer and totally destroyed their beauty to release a fake Hole album with them but Hole without Eric Erlandson is nothing and she had a fall out with him for the same reason she's faing out with everybody, she's a two faced (even thousand if you count plastic surgery) backstabbing psycho. That's when i stopped being a huge fan, the ball dropped. Sw her at Le Bataclan, she could not sing anymore, she could not play guitar, she was not even drunk or high, she was pathetic, a fallen icon left without all the artifice brought in by people she sucked the life off. She was trying to strum her guitar and kept missing chords, watching them, then the voice was hoarse like a deaf drunken sailor. Her band, young men in designer grunge like clothes, looked like amateurs from Beverly High. The music was gone, the king was naked, what we had left was a professional widow living off her husband's money, doing interviews to namedrop labels she wears, famous people she knows and the wonderful things they say about her "Oh Michael Stipe always says i'm..." and relevant people of the moment she trashes to get attention, just before Swift and after Gwen Stefani, it was Katy Perry. She's not feminist, she attacks other women whom are more popular than she'll ever be. She was like that i high school already when she looked like the fat blonde kid from Family Ties. Now she hangs out with Kris Jenner and licks Elon Musk's ass. The BBC gave her a serie for unknown reasons, maybe an old fan from the 90's is programming. She's talked about women in music who inspired her but she's mostly talking about herself, about how Marlon Brando could be her grandpa. She talks about these brilliant women as a way to level with them, like a vampire, basking in their glory. She's not in their league. She's in no league. She's a junkie with too much money and ego. Only people who know nothing about punk rock and rock n roll would give her the time of the day. She' s a celebrity who used to have a band. There's no Courtney Love interview, EVER, where she does not name drops or talks about fashion labels. Real punk rocker are Kim Gordon (who hates her guts) Kim Deal, girls from L7, Bikini Kill, girls from the band she joined before Hole, Babes in Toyland (the one Madonna wanted to sign on Maverick not Courtney on her own) she tried to run and they fired her (just line Faith No More did) after years of hanging out around rock bands, trying to fuck her way in the music industry, harrassing Trent Reznor and Axl Rose, she finally found a sexually confused soft man she could use her way and manipulate, his nose was what made him the winner over Billy Corgan becuse she wnted to sire a child and did not want it to inherit the schnozer her father gave her. She used to be Lana Del Rey biggest fan and friend, posed with her, used her in the press to be relevant to a younger audience but i guess, from what she says about her in this interview, it's over. She also says Debbie Harry was just pretty which is sexist when Harry is a brilliant lyricist that is outrageously overlooked because of sexism. And Madonna never trusted her, Courtney litterally stalked her, was obsessed with her, Kurt said it, Christopher Ciccone said it, Madonna said it, Courtney said it. Especially after Kurt died, she used to call Madonna for advices then turned on her. She tried to bed Guy O. desperately. Madonna simply ignores her because she can't be trusted. Courtney fumed because she ignored her at Tears of a Clown at Art Basel. So yeah, a long essay because i used to be a fan and then one day i realized Courtney Love was an empty shell. But i still dig Pretty on the Inside and Live through this is a major album in music history, Celebrity Skin was half good with great singles. She did not deserve to be vilified and have this horrible rumour about killing Kurt, especially when she was grieving and grieving under the public eye. But she's not a good person and she's not a great artist. She used to be a great celebrity though but her usual tricks are old now and irrelevant to the times.

Once again: No. Who's That Girl & Causing A Commotion were not released as a dual single. Adding them like this would be a disgrace. Keep the singles that were released separately (in the US) as separate singles. Besides, the cover they used belongs to You Can Dance. That release was a RSD exclusive. It should stay that way.

I remember watching the MTV premiere special when it was broadcasted and being with my mouth open about how gorgeous she looked in the video. About the song, when i 1st listened to it, i was a bit surprised, but when the "si te enamoro" part kicked in, wow, that was it!!! There was the chorus!!!!. For me, Madame X is one of her best albums, a beautiful inspired work of art, and those amazing videos... She put her heart and soul on the whole project.

To be fair, she didn't diss Madonna - I've not listened, but the quote 'I don't like her and she doesn't like me' - is just a statement - whether true or not. Now, her dissing Taylor that's gold lol - She does have a point, maybe, Taylor is the Madonna of the now in terms of popularity - but she's certainly not in terms of cultural influences or breaking down barriers! She's also right - Music now is very manufactured to be 'on brand' - but it's always been that case since the invention of 'girl/boy/they/them groups' - the only difference now, is you are the brand - and in a way, Britney was the template (I love Britney) - by that I mean, image, music etc was very controlled to fit a mould, a narrative.

Courtney Love has dealt with unecessary abuse from so many Kurt Cobain fans and has been wrongly called a murderer for decades. If any celeb can handle the wrath of the Swifites it’s her.

I adored this tour, it's been and will always be one of her best works ever (especially now that she is surely get RAIN back at her place, after the US league ) and she was able to combine the perfect mix of artsy theatre, disco explosions, punk-rock attitude, rough and acoustic singalong connection, with a setlist wich offered everything both, the general public and the hardcore fans, would ever ask, from Vogue to Bad girl. SAID THAT, I'm supersupersuper excited for the huge bang we are expecting for the 6 last shows BUT it really's got to end now imo. For her, who's comprehensibly tired and maybe even bored, deserving at least a two, three months of full fun and rest (next summer must be the best of her life guys: she went out from the hospital, where she was dieing, straight to the rehearsals room), but also for us who deserve new material and experiences as further steps, especially new music after a 5 years pause (and maybe more). So let's enjoy these amazing nights and the big worldwide streamed 4th of may event and let the Celebration tour go for good

We got the Lucky Star single on streaming to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of her first album. Not sure what more you want.

But you don't have to reply and disagree / challenge people every time. It just ends up making YOU look like the annoying one, and it comes across as condescending and relentless, too. You just say the same stuff over and over again, as I've seen several people tell you before. You gotta give it up, it's making you look bad. They said it with Madame X as well. Madonna has made it clear on many occasions that she intends to keep performing until she drops dead. Of course she will slow down but she’s not going to stop doing this. I actually wouldn’t be surprised if she aims for a stadium tour next time around.

I think she looks great on this tour, personally, and like no one but herself.
