  1. The most greatest thing we will get Madonna show in live! no filters no awful montage no re recorded sound for the first time since 2008!

  2. So just got home from the Dallas date today. Ended up getting some end of the catwalk front row tickets for $296 a piece and took my friend and mom with our old tickets. DJ Mary Mac was the DJ tonight before the show. Lukewarm reaction and kind of dozed off on the set like I did back on MDNA. The mixes were very meh. Madonna came around after 10 tonight. Very interactive. Mentioned she was starting the show on a bad mood. Her voice was a bit hoarse tonight and noticed she missed a couple of cues during some songs. She almost whacked herself with the mic stand during Burning Up. No Causing a Commotion tonight. The first opening act was glorious live and especially Live To Tell definitely touches the heartstrings. Like a Prayer I ended up loving in person along with the performance and visuals. Erotica was so epic and dark sounding in the arena. Personal favorite of mine and Hung Up brought the house down. She looked at me and my sister during the dance break and smiled at us. Vogue's guest tonight was a drag queen (didn't catch her name) but she walked prior to the show around the floor so it was a given she'd be the best and she did well! Crazy For You got a huge reaction tonight. We got Express Yourself tonight, prior to the song she did her infamous "What's the difference between a popstar and a terrorist?" joke and one guy shouted out the punchline. She seemed shocked and surprised and had a lovely banter with him. I think she was genuinely surprised. Asked us to turn our phone lights on and the crowd sang along. She mentioned the night had gotten better and loved seeing our smiling faces. Bedtime Story (the cube obscured the view) but I loved the mix and how it goes off. Ray of Light was just euphoria from beginning to end. The lights, the remix, the energy!! Loved it. No Rain tonight (though we were in the middle of a thunderstorm tonight) but Take a Bow got a good reaction tonight. The Billie Jean/Like a Virgin interlude got a good reaction and works better live than on video. Still not a fan of the finale but it worked tonight. She seemed in high spirits performing it and having a ball. She missed her veil cue and laughed it off and said goodnight. Overall, it's my fourth time seeing her and my younger sister's first show. Was an amazing ride exploring her rich discography set to the legendary live and career she's lived. For those on the fence or awaiting their upcoming tour dates, you're in for the ride of your lives. Debating tomorrow's show for a two nighter but my god, I'm still on a high! Will try to post photos and videos!

  3. Hello everyone! As part of my YouTube channel, to celebrate the finale of the tour being broadcast live I will be doing a special fan voted awards "ceremony" for The Celebration Tour. Categories will include things like best tour costume, best hairstyle, best song arrangement, best ballroom judge, favourite dancer etc. There will also be a countdown of the best performance from the tour as voted by the fans. I would love if you could all click on the two links and vote in each category! (I promise it should only take you a few minutes.) I will share the results on YouTube a few hours before the show in Brazil premieres http://www.polljunkie.com/poll/eixikp/rate-x27the-celebration-tourx27-performances http://www.polljunkie.com/poll/xnerxx/the-celebration-tour

  5. Last night was amazing. I wasn't expecting it to be good, sorry, the videos I had seen just wasn't doing it justice. But in person this show is off the charts! I got to see bad girl live, plus burning up demo version, those I was looking forward to. I was in the 300 section but man my seats were great, I could see everything just fine. I sat with some really cool people who were having so much fun. We all sang and danced and just were happy! This was a good last time seeing her. Im glad my last tour was such a beautiful experience. Id give this show a 100 for sure. She was off a tiny bit on a couple of songs but really vocally I couldnt tell there was a backing track. You could here her just fine and she sounded great. She seemed really comfortable and engaged with the audience. I wish I could have scored tickets for tonight as well, Id def go again.

  7. I was at both Dallas shows, so here are some small things I noticed: Night 1: -She started about 15/20 min later than she has been these past few weeks and I didn't really think anything of it until... -During the Burning Up speech she said she was in a mood, but I think she played it off really well and even told the crowd she was feeling a lot better during the Express Yourself speech. -During Celebration, she was saying her thank-you's and she made a very vague apology to Bob, like "Thank you Bob, and I'm sorry for that thing that happened". I wonder if something happened before the show between the two that put her in a funk? IDK, pure speculation. -The show was PHENOMENAL! I was at the 3rd row after the end of the catwalk so I saw her up close during Hung Up, Don't Tell Me & Express Yourself. Seeing her so close almost... humanizes her in a way? Not sure of the right term, but I just kept thinking "Wow, she's 20 feet away from me. And she's just a normal person". You get so used to seeing her in wide stadium shots on DVD and on TV performances and think she is this untouchable entity, but when you're that close she just feels so normal. Like performing is just her job, she just happens to be incredibly good at it. I'm still on a high from seeing her, so this probably doesn't make much sense. Night 2: -I was in the 2nd row of the highest section, so I got a more birds-eye-view of the show. Both floor and upper levels have their strengths and weaknesses. -She was in a GREAT mood all night, and I felt was a lot more chatty with the audience. -Her voice was a little more hoarse than normal so it cracked a few times. Nobody seemed to care. -During both shows, she really stressed her love of being a mother. I think she said night 1 was David's birthday so I think she was in a reflective mood. -Some of the things you think might not really work, surprisingly do when you see it live. I never hated the ending, but thought it could be improved. However, the audience went crazy with all of the reincarnations, so I think it kind of distracts from some of the weaker points of the encore. OVERALL, 10/10 concert. Super looking forward to any streaming/video release so I can re-watch in pro quality.

  8. I believed in the rumor and two weeks ago I prepared my trip to Rio de Janeiro. I believed in Madonna, felt Madonna's power, believed that the tour could be in Rio. I'm very happy that today it's already official and the best thing is that I bought everything at the real value and not the current surcharges. Greetings from Chilean Patagonia! 🎉🎶🇨🇱

  9. If she can really get 2m people, that would be such a success story for her considering what happened to her last year to almost dying to now performing in front of 2m people

  10. Why are you trying to twist this into a negative? It's not like she cancelled Mexico dates to do Brazil instead. In fact, Mexico is one of the few stops she's actually doing the most shows for. You have five back to back chances to see her live while some are only lucky to have seen her once if at all, yet you're going to "boo" her over nonsense like this?

  11. Wow, can't believe that the Rio concert will be broadcast live!! I get 1987 "ciao Torino" vibes

  12. Getting excited, just 10 more days till my first time seeing her ever. omg I will be there soon as they open the doors and I dont care how long I have to wait fpr her to come on stage

  13. I hope she'll break Diana Ross' record as the biggest ticketfree concert by a female artist. It would be the cherry on the cake and the ultimate middle finger to her doubters & haters

  14. Can you imagine the atmosphere in the city on the day of the concert? My god, i just know they be playing her music everywhere. Pure heaven

  15. And it's fair for millions and millions of fans who are not able to see her at all, because she doesn't visit their CONTINENT? And you are angry because you are not seeing the CLOSING show? I'm sorry but it's ridiculous. You should be grateful to be able to see it/her at all. This is a video of our show in Bulgaria. We had printed hundreds of signs "Thank you", because we were so grateful that she has come to our country at all and we wanted to show it. We weren't angry that she hadn't come at all before. I'm sorry if I sound rude, but your attitude is really rude and disrespectful.

  16. Don't worry, if it's a live stream we'll find the way to watch it even if it's geoblocked to Brazil only (which I doubt!). Official poster:

  17. I can't tell how excited and proud I am of being a Brazilian right now! It's been years since she last had a concert broadcasted... Apart from the Superbowl and the 'half' concert MDNA Olympia, it hasn't happend since DWT if I'm not mistaken.

  18. Right on P!nk! Even a lesson to some of the fans. Madonna's has done plethora of "bad ass shit" that set in motion what P!nk and many women who came after Madonna are able to do. It just amazes me the remarkable career Madonna has had, and she's still not a name on the tip of the tongues of our current generation like other artists who came before her and during her time. I'm constantly amazed how people of the last couple of generations know so much about Michael Jackson, Elvis, Prince, yet know so little of Madonna. Yet, some act like they never heard of her until they are presented with a song by her and think, "Oh that was Madonna"?. So strange. Meanwhile, even though P!nk has thought that Madonna doesn't like her, she still defends her! Just another reason why I love P!nk!!! She's a "bad ass" too.

  21. This week our hosts Brittany Spanos and Rob Sheffield look at an Eighties dance-floor classic, from one of the all-time biggest pop legends: Madonna’s “Into The Groove.” It wasn’t Madonna’s first single (that was “Everybody”) or her first hit (that would be “Holiday”), but “Into The Groove” is the one that instantly evokes Madonna in her raw, gritty early days. It’s a cheap, fast, in-your-face disco anthem that hits as hard as punk rock, from the hungry young Madonna, aiming to sum up the whole history of dance music in one song. “Into The Groove” is still the song at the heart of her lifelong bond with the club scene and the dance community. It’s the one that where she sings right into your ear: “You can dance, for inspiration.” For this episode Brittany and Rob are joined by one of the most brilliant music writers around, Suzy Exposito, a longtime journalist for Rolling Stone and the L.A. Times. They break down the song’s impact on club culture, including the goth world (the dancing boy in the music video became an iconic goth figure in himself!). They’ll also seek to answer the questions of why we’re all so obsessed with this song? Why does it loom so large over Madonna’s other hits? Why is it the gateway drug that hooks so many generations of Madonna fans? Take a listen to find out! [Hidden Content]

  22. A little reminder for the "know it alls" and the "what's the point" crew. What exactly was the point of these singles, exactly? Also, no the Immaculate Collection Version of Live To Tell isn't an edit. It's just a Q-Sound Mix of the album version. There is not short version of Live To Tell available on streaming. Also, the 7" Edit isn't even some obscure local or promo only edit. It's THE 7" Version released on all formats of the single. If there was supposedly a point to release the singles above with only one or NO new/exclusive tracks included, then yes there DEFINITELY is a point to release Live To Tell and Crazy For You.

  28. The execution of the duet with David and the folk acoustic version of Express Yourself has grown so much during the tour that are among my favourite moments of the show now. Especially this version of EY is so light and cool and celebratory, offering the joyful side of the track that was less focused n the iconic remix and is the core of the album (and the Girlie Show) version Thanks a lot for these great videos!!

    RIP Idaho

Just read that Idaho passed away in early April. I'm kinda shocked. I really like many of his remixes and he was quite active forum member here. His website: https://www.idahodesign.eu/remixes/ An interesting interview: https://holidayshare.blogspot.com/2011/03/exclusive-interview-many-faces-of-idaho.html

  32. Visit Rio officials predict that 2 million fans will attend Madonna’s historic concert in Rio on May 4th at Copacabana Beach. 🚀🔥 Madonna's longtime promoter, Arthur Fogel, and legendary Brazilian producer and promoter, Luiz Oscar Niemeyer, will be producing the concert. Fogel will be working on behalf of Madonna, while Niemeyer will be working on behalf of the City of Rio and various sponsors. #madonnainrio

  34. The indoor arenas use the actual arena infrastructure to suspend rigging for whatever show is being presented, as in the picture above. Yes, all arenas are different, but they're made for rigging up whatever a production may need. For stadium or outdoor shows, since there is no roofing (and said infrastructure) to house/hang a production, they have to actually build it (that's what I meant by "custom engineer" it). Like the Sticky & Sweet stage below - What I meant was they'll have to build something like this if they're going to present the full, original production as she's touring it now - as major parts of the production require rigging (hanging) far out into audience, over the multiple catwalks. I don't think it's impossible...I think some of us are just unsure considering all shows so far have been indoors. (Sorry, I'm trying to explain it as best I can (based on what I've learned about touring productions). I apologize if I'm not clear... )

  36. OMG. Imagine going there, being in the back, and then having the audacity to tell people the next day that you went to a Madonna concert. I mean, I was basically at the Madison Square Garden shows when I was at my apartment watching TV that night then.

  44. No lmao. Only like 10 fans care about the lazy merch or the remixes added to streaming that every other pre streaming artist has had added to their page for a decade. The deal has produced nothing of value so far besides rereleased crap that the brown nosers purchase immediately. No wonder M or Warner don’t release actual stuff. They have bottom ass bitches buying the same shit they’ve released 20+ years ago
