  1. I can't picture another pop star from back in the day or current releasing something so unpopular like American Life, flopping hard and having an epic comeback like Confessions On A Dance Floor 2 years later. Madonna can only be compared to herself
  2. I think her entrance with Candy Shop during the Sticky & Sweet here in Chile after 25 years. Her first concert ever in this country... the roar in the audience was immense. The platform elevating at the end of the catwalk during Vogue. People were in awe. I felt like I was part of a movie. She totally makes you feel things Her walk during Holy Water with the sexy nuns behind her was also great. That was the first time I actually saw her face during Rebel Heart. Love Don't Live Here Anymore was a nice surprise as well. Like A Virgin was totally fun... the choreography reminded me of her performances back in 1984 at Solid Gold/Top Of The Pops. Just her, alone. For Madame X I think the best moments were Vogue in the shortened version of the show. When she appeared behind the curtain after the Madame X manifesto and the What are you looking at? line Killers Who Are Partying was beautifully done too! When they hanged the LGBTQ flag at the end for I Rise was a powerful moment and people lifting their fists is something I will never forget.
  3. Everybody Atlantic City Holiday Santiago Lucky Star New York City Like A Virgin Many cities Material Girl Detroit Dress You Up Vienna Open Your Heart New Jersey Express Yourself Many cities Secret Houston American Life Boston Sorry Montreal I Love New York New York City
  4. The only officially released versions of Skin are: - Album Version - The Collaboration Mix (Mixed) CD sourced - The Collaboration Mix (Unmixed) Vinyl sourced The rest are just mixes made by bored "DJs".
  5. In my opinion these are some of her weakest tracks: Freedom (from the 1995 Carnival! compilation) Did You Do It? (feat. Mark Goodman & Dave Murphy) B-Day Song (feat. M.I.A.) Cry Baby Spanish Lesson Bitch I'm Loca CHAMPAGNE ROSÉ (feat. Madonna & Cardi B) Has To Be (1997 Demo) Queen's English Act Of Contrition And from her more recent collaborations/remixes, ahem, I think the only ones that I really enjoy are Hung Up On Tokischa and Frozen (feat. 070 Shake).
  6. I don't use those things. I need to get my money back for the second Dallas show.
  7. Is there anyone else getting the error message when trying to ask for a refund? I've been checking the web since Tuesday night and Ticketmaster still won't work...
  8. I can't make it to Dallas on March 25, and they certainly cancelled my show in San Francisco originally scheduled in January. I'll have to ask for a refund and wait and see if I can make it to anywhere in the States between January and February. Oh God. This must be some sort of signal...
  9. I just got mine!! Wish Amazon was selling the MDNA Tour one but whatever...
  10. Have you ever seen the Nothing Compares 2 U video?
  11. I've had this conversation with myself for many years but never dared to think Madonna's way to attract notoriety was shallow or cheap. Madonna's a very smart person... but that doesn't mean she can't fuck it up from time to time. She's a human being after all. Anyway, SNL has never been a serious show either so why holding it against Madonna after so many years. She's learnt to embrace and support other female peers in the last couple of decades. Finally, Madonna paid homage both to Prince and Sinéad when she sang Nothing Compares 2 U in 2016... Although she did keep the original lyrics intact, we all know the instrumentation and backdrop were based on Sinéad's output.
  12. I think I now am in the Guy Oseary needs to go group.
  13. Is this sold out? Apparently Amazon ES does not have stock anymore.
  14. I agree. However, this didn't stop Warner from releasing whatever they could while Madonna was busy with Evita. You'll See/Verás October 1995 Oh Father December 1995 One More Chance March 1996 Love Don't Live Here Anymore March 1996
  15. I think this is just an internet rumour. Bedtime Story (#42) and Human Nature (#46) didn't do that well on the Billboard Hot 100, so I doubt Warner would have wanted to continue wasting money on a project that had already reached its goal with Take A Bow. There was no Bedtime Stories tour either, so Madonna's attention was 100% on the recording of the new songs with David Foster before embarking on the ambitous Evita soundtrack.
  16. She's done Secret in the past so I wouldn't be surprised if it's not the most voted.
  17. I'm almost 100% sure Madonna speaks on the first Overture track too.
  18. The "fan" discussion is boring as fuck. Vulgar seems to be more interesting and fun that the Weeknd track
  19. Where can I listen to it??
  20. To be honest, I am kinda tired of all the purity conversation on this board. It's like people here don't know how to enjoy things anymore. There's always this overanalysis on what is worth it and what isn't. Chill!
