  1. @Jascka From my point this is a thread about this sort of things: fans/haters, etc.. People are taking things way too personal and i don’t understand why. I never said having opinions is bad. I have never said don't be critical. I was pointing out the negativity that comes from those sort of views. We are all different and we all have different minds i dont see that as a problem at all. I just got a problem with the negativity. Im all for peace. ??♥️❌
  2. SORRY FOR THE COMMOTION. Well, first off i was trying to be funny ( sense of humour) when i invented FATER . I thought it might pick up as the word frenemy ?. Fater just like frenemy is not an insult so people shouldn't take it that way. And i have never stated fans shouldnt have critical opinions or discussions. After all thats what we are here for. All i was pointing out was the constant negativity regarding M. I see a lot of it going around in forums dedicated to her so i was just saying if a fan has many or all of those points then they might be a fater. Dont see why peeps feel so threatened by this. At the end of the day you guys know what you have in your heart so im not judging anybody here. PLEASE, LETS ALL GET ALONG. ??❤️❌
  3. The problem is that Madonna has loads of ( way too many) FATERS - fan/haters ?. How to spot a FATER: * Theyre never ever happy with anything new Madonna releases. They write long and tedious essays on why her new material is no good always comparing it to her previous works which im sure they had slagged off too. * They pay so much attention to details and little insignificant things to the point of dissecting it like a CSI agent. So there will always be something for them to moan about and criticise. * Theyre often and usually part of the ageist and sexist narrative. * They waive their right of free speech and accuse other fans of being blind sheep; basically if i dont hate a particular song or denounce M on a particular issue then i am a stupid follower with no opinion for myself. * Theyre passive/ aggressive on pretty much everything. They might express some positive opinion on something but it usually follows with a negative one so that anything M does is basically meh. * They use Madonnas long history with controversy to highlight her perceived missteps. Quite often siding with the biased media machine than actual standing by M. * The failure to grasp that M started out as a dance/ urban artist. Yes people thought she was black. But they quickly jump on bandwagon of accusing M of trying to be cool or go down with the kids when she does urban music. The whole thing comes across quite racist and ignorant in my opinion. * They are very critical of how Madonna looks; color of hair, fillers, wrinkles, ass size... Honestly i dont even want to bore myself with the long list of how Madonna should or shouldn’t look like. * They hate anything else M does besides music. No films, no other lucrative businesses ( gyms, hotels, restaurants, clothing... and of course MDNA skin)! Madonna should only have a music career which more than likely they are also not too happy with anyway. * They fail (they refuse) to understand how the music business works these days. They cant see how features, duets and collabs are practically nothing to be stressing about because its the norm in music today. Same for autotune and other production trickeries.. nothing to lose sleep over because its the norm but for these fans those issues are the make it or break it of a particular song. * They use charts as a validation point. Basically Madonnas music is no good if it doesnt reach the number 1 spot. Instead of being logical on this charts thing they love to compare Madonnas today impact on the charts with the likes of Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift. As a fan i cant for the love of God even consider todays messy charts with the glorious days when M had global number ones after number ones based on sales rather than likes, clicks and views ( which are extremely easy to manipulate and buy these days). Madonnas the most successful female artist of all times not having hits in the late stage of her career wont change that so i dont understand this morbid obsession. Anything else?❌
  4. Sorry women of The View but Madonna is not Diana Ross or Grace Jones. Cant believe that any of those women pointed out how ground breaking Madonna career was. Something never seen before. They didnt understand M interview at all.
  5. She recited this fun poem during Truth Or Dare. No idea where she got it from but the world is full of fart jokes so who knows... Why this sudden interest about this??
  6. Jeez. Nobody here said shes Beethoven. She has skills and theyre good. Why question them?
  7. You ll have to kill me for me to even start making a mental chart on what comes first and/or last from this out of this world album! Comparing Promise To Try to Oh Father... Til Death Do Us Part to Keep It Together... Love Song to Act Of Contrition... Like A Prayer to Express Yourself... Cherish to Dear Jessie...Spanish Eyes is possibly one of her best songs ever! Its like asking me to name what we need the most to survive: sun, water, air or earth? This is why this album is a masterpiece: each song is part of the whole. One song doesn’t exist without the other. Dont get me wrong each and one song is very strong on its own ( as proved by the singles) but to truly work and bring them to another level is when you listen to them as part of the album as a whole. Lets not forget this is an album inspired by the powers that be. Only Madonna could! lol
  8. In the US the media is somewhat moderate/ liberal. Fox News is the exception obvz but say in other countries and im talking about the UK where im from the press is extremely conservative and far right.
  9. Again where are the receipts? SJW is not a political party or an organisation. Were these people around when Madonna released Like A Prayer or Erotica? And trust me M always got attacked. Its nothing new... Long before these SJW came along on the Internet. These SJW peeps are a social media movement with no faces, no names, no real background. Just because you read comment with the SJW hastag that doesnt mean anything.. Are they really fighing for justice or just bitch about? Lesson from history: Nero burned Rome and he blamed the Christians; the Nazis set the House of Parliament in Berlin on fire and blamed the communists.
  10. Theres really no proof of that and i was talking about the conservative media which has always trashed M. If you base anything on social media you ll never get to the bottom of it. Peeps pretend to be all sorts on social media. I find that a lot of this “its offensive” line of talk is not necessarily connected to a political scope. I came to realize that people who easily get offended are also the ones who offend the most. So go figure.
  11. What on earth are you talking about? Honestly you live in another reality. You need to stop this spreading of lies.
  12. Very true. I think its the ugly side of stanning for a particular artist; in order to validate them these fans feel the need to trash others. Its very immature and mean spirited. But as usual Madonna is in a league of her own. Her anti bigotry and liberal silver lining mentality has always pissed off conservative folks so she had to suffer the worst.
  13. Far from it. It was her take on a nation obsessed with guns and violence. I think she released a statement at some point because of the criticism. Of course Americans would rather ban fake guns in a show than actual ban the real thing that causes death and tragedy to millions. Oh the world!
  14. In the case of Madonna censorship came out really strong against her. Since day one she was denounced by religious groups because of her name which was always thought as being a stage name chosen by and for herself. Then obviously we had Like A Virgin and Papa Dont Preach and Open Your Heart which were all condemned for different reasons. But that was all tame and laughable compared to Like A Prayer. Then Justify My Love/Erotica/Sex made her enemy number one to the point that some people are still pissed at her. Bottom line: conservative/religious groups always denounced her. They still do. Madonna was technically bannned anywhere in those environments. Between 1989 and 1994 she was banned in all the family oriented industries which is a big chunk of the market. Maybe in Utah they decided not to air Like A Prayer as they did in Italy.
  15. What it feels like for a girl ( Above and Beyond remix)
  16. Because i have heard it all before. Its like a broken record playing in my head forever and i literally cant take it anymore. This how-Madonna-was-truly-amazing-and-now-shes-becoming-a-buttjoke! mentality is ruining for the people who are truly into the now-Madonna. If shes not good enough for you now but still in hope that one day soon shes going to do exactly what you want her to do... well, you will always be disappointed because Madonna is not that kind of person. She said that millions of time. Shes still saying it. Cant you get the message? And to be more specific Madonnas always been sincere about her faith. She always talked about it. And yes with Kabbalah she took it to new levels which felt genuine and inspiring. She posted plenty of Kabbalah references in her Instagram. Maybe not as often as you would expect but her Instgram is vary various and disparaging so i dont see it as her stopping the Kabbalah thing. And i have never said shes perfect. Of course shes not flawless. Shes human like any of us. I just decide not to judge her but support her. Unlike you i truly believe shes still rebellious. Maybe its because you see things from a different perspective and it makes you believe that you know best but Madonna is not you. And she makes her own choices. So far she hasnt done anything that offeded me or make me doubt so its all cool.
  17. Madonna is really a rebel with heart. She inspired millions of people to be open minded, to accept others. She also exposed the hypocrisy of organized religions like the Catholic Church and inspired people to find their own divinity inside of them. Artistically there will never be an entertainer as controversial and yet so successful as Madonna. #factsarefacts
  18. So many misconceptions and misunderstandings about Guy O. Peeps truly have unrealistic expectations these days ?
  19. Her latest most shocking thing is we didnt get one leak whatsoever this time around. Dont remember a M album wthout some sort of leakage. lol
  20. I didnt say she wasnt huge in the 90’s but i said she had huge moments because in the 90’s she did have tough competition from other popular female artists. Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, the Spice Girls even singers like Sheryl Crow were selling for millions. All im saying is in the 80’s no female artist could come to her level and she had the 80s all to herself but in the 90’s she had to share a piece of the pie.. that doesnt mean she wasn’t popular or not selling. She simply had to share some limelight with other female artists.
  21. Expecting a 50/60 years old woman to be popular amongst the teen market is unrealistic though. And lets not forget how Madonna easily slid into legendery territory without needing an actual come back. She was huge in the 80’s and she had many huge moments throughout the 90’s. Her popularity started to brittle after Music. American Life was shunned in the US and Confessions was way too dancey for the American audience but 4 Minutes was actually quite popular and she even had a stadium tour in the US promoting Hard Candy. All of that was when she was being indicted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame. To be still relevant and have radio/ charts hits and get that sort of accomplishment is unheard of. We are talking about a legendary, ever over-exposing career which went on and on despite the “Madonnas over” or “Madonnas irrelevant” mantra. Kids know who Madonna is. Very likely they know some of her classics and even dig them. If theyre fans of any of the new wannabes like Ariana Grande or Cardi B they certainly know how inspiring Madonna is. Even fans of Migos and Drake know Madonna is one of the biggest icons ever. Drake did a tune dedicated to her for crying out loud. Of course shes not popular amongst teens and would be silly to expect so. But that doesnt mean shes not known or liked and certainly doesnt mean shes hated. WARNING! Politics talk: i also find that especially in the US Madonnas become more of a political figure rather than a musician so growing up in a republican/Trumpist family Madonna will always be associated with negativity, redicule and insults whereas a Democratic family would have a more favorable opinion of her. That kind of things get passed on to children so in a rural US area Madonna doesnt get love or praise. Instead shes very likey rediculed and shunned the same way someone like Hillary Clinton is.
