  1. Scored a ticket in the back of the stalls for the last night, Feb. 11th. Had to pay £245 for it, but at least it wasn't £511 like Ticketmaster was first trying to charge me!
  2. If they only inform people on the night, overseas fans would have to be pretty quick to make use of it!
  3. They select people on the night... but when/how do you register? Just woke up so dunno if I'm being thick or not, haha.
  4. Does anyone know how to register for these potential £10 tickets for the London Palladium dates?
  5. Umm... should I be worried that a number of my favourites can be found in these lists??
  6. I believe that one track has been uploaded by someone on Vimeo. You should be able to find it easily if you google it.
  7. Ah, I see. Well, that's nice of her. Regardless of what anyone says about the work, this guy has clearly hit the jackpot!
  8. Nothing equals nothing...

  9. I'm a bit clued out here... so Aldo Diaz is simply a fan? I'm not particularly bothered about the artwork for the DVD, tbh, I'm just curious as to how he ended up designing covers for M (I didn't realise he did the Bitch I'm Madonna single as well). Did he win a competition or something?
  10. I must admit, that cover/poster/whatever image made me laugh out loud - to think it's official is pretty amusing - but I am still seriously excited about finally having this show on Blu-ray. Who exactly is this Aldo Diaz guy anyway, why is he designing covers for M?

  12. Haha, Britain gets creative with its casting ideas for Blond Ambition... http://metro.co.uk/2017/04/27/good-morning-viewers-reckon-james-corden-would-be-perfect-to-play-madonna-in-pure-boaty-mcboatface-moment-6600710/
  13. BBC News - We fact-checked the Madonna film script http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-39730585
  14. Haha, yeah, there's a few fuck's in the script for sure!
  15. Just finished reading the script, it's pretty terrible. I doubt the writer has ever been to NYC... at one point she has M walking around the East Village past Studio 54! Haha. She's also taken major liberties throughout, and there's inaccuracies aplenty. There is the occasional amusing line here and there but, overall, the piece is little more than a revamp of the Innocence Lost TV movie. It seems highly likely that M will stop them from using her music if it does go into production.
  16. Unfortunately, the dramatisation of the final scene in the script, made by LA Film School students, that this article mentions is set to private on YouTube... http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/whats-inside-madonna-biopic-blond-ambition-can-she-stop-997914
  17. Woah, M is clearly unimpressed! Amazing response. It'll be interesting to see if she withholds use of her music, like Bowie did with Velvet Goldmine. I'm about 30 pages into the script and it's proving to be little more than a mildly amusing upgrade of the TV biopic, Madonna: Innocence Lost. The author takes a number of liberties, although there's a bit where M hears Bowie's Let's Dance album for the first time at a party and that gives her the idea of getting Nile Rogers to produce her. That made me smile.
  18. Looks like it's going into production... http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/madonna-biopic-blonde-ambition-in-the-works-w478704
  19. I love Desperately Seeking Susan and have a soft spot for both Who's That Girl and Dick Tracy, but I would say that Dangerous Game is far and away M's best screen performance. It might not be for all tastes, but Ferrara manages to elicit a truly great performance from her that's nuanced, believable and raw.
  20. Sounds like this script covers the same basic ground as the not especially good (but I admit to kind of enjoying it in a trashy way) TV biopic, Madonna: Innocence Lost. I'm definitely curious and would quite like to read it. Question is, who would play M? http://www.vulture.com/2016/12/madonna-biopic-tops-2016-hollywood-black-list.html http://www.vulture.com/2016/12/5-things-to-know-about-the-madonna-biopic-script.html
  21. Great speech, very affecting. It's still somewhat edited though, it's missing the bit where she mentions all the people that are gone but she is still standing. Also, it's completely jarring when they bleep her swear words as it more or less vandalises the speech at those moments. I personally would prefer having a lot less of those lingering shots of people in the audience too. It's much more powerful when we see M's face up close and can read all the emotion in her eyes. I really wish television directors would have the courage to just sit still sometimes.
  22. Alright, I'm game... Candy Shop vs Girl Gone Wild 4 Minutes vs Gang Bang Give It 2 Me vs I'm Addicted Heartbeat vs Turn Up the Radio Miles Away vs Give Me All Your Luvin' She's Not Me vs Some Girls Incredible vs Superstar Beat Goes On vs I Don't Give A Dance 2night vs I'm A Sinner Spanish Lesson vs Love Spent Devil Wouldn't Recognize You vs Masterpiece Voices vs Falling Free (super tough for me, since I love both of these songs pretty much equally - both are very fine album closers) HC 10/12 - MDNA 2/12
  23. Fucking awesome. I love how M makes her concert films properly cinematic, the whole thing has amazing energy and looks gorgeous. Also, how fucking hot is she in that sequin dress? I've left it running and am watching it again... I still can't get over how much Burning Up rocks, the double tracking on her voice is superb. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
