  1. I full-heartly agree. It's about god damn time she pulls out this gem. She did Human Nature and she did Candy Shop. If she feels like doing fan-favourites she could have at least do a song that could work live.
  2. This setlist looks pretty good but idk about the handwriting... Between the Bars and American Life, though? OMG Imprisonment and War/Revolution!!!
  3. I suppose it was an alternative to Dress You Up. So far, we've gotten one song from each of the first 80's album: Holiday from Madonna Dress You Up from Like a Virgin La Isla Bonita from True Blue Who's That Girl from Who's That Girl (OST) My guess is that there may not be a song from LAP since she played two last time. But I do have a feeling she may perform Like a Prayer along with Living for Love. I also think she just doesn't tease any of the post-Erotica tracks simply, because she believes that people are more interested in knowing which of the 80's songs are being played. I think Into the Groove has been considered for the Party section but has ultimately been replaced by either Holiday or Music. The gypsy section, I believe is not complete either. I think Body Shop (maybe as a mashup with Like a Virgin - she tagged Monte Pittman on that one post) is gonna be part of that as well. Love Don't Live Here Anymore was probably considered as an alternative to HBC and may still be included as a sample or something. She's definitely gonna wear a Versace costume for that performance. Probably not. More like a medley with Holy Water. As soon as the Vogue sample kicks in Vogue starts but it's probably gonna be a short section only.
  4. Holiday and La Isla need to go THE FUCK AWAY! I want Take a Bow, Nothing Really Matters, Secret, Deeper and Deeper, Love Profusion, Don't Tell Me and Everybody instead!
  5. I'm thinking: Between the Bars Devil Pray Deeper and Deeper Who's That Girl / La Isla Bonita (Medley)
  6. I told you there were going to be stripper nuns!!!!
  7. Interscope is known for taking control and not giving their artists enough artistic freedom.
  8. First of all, those section do not make sense, sonically and thematically. The handwriting is not M's and could have been from anyone on this board. It's fake. I'm glad I'm not the only one who is absolutely terrified by this. MNation is literally all over this GH tour think. Those damn morons... Not confirmed. Lol that wasn't really her decision, you know? After the songs leaked she let her management decide on the tracklist pretty much. She picked the first six songs for the EP and what songs would be included on the album (in no particular order). They simply stacked the rest onto the album randomly and selected 5 songs that they felt weren't strong enough for "their" standard edition. Madonna's standadrd edition is the 19-track "deluxe" album. The sequencing is clearly out-of-place but those are the songs she recognizes as part of the album. Going by what you said, S.E.X. wouldn't be included, either.
  9. I haven't seen it, true. Then again if I get to see it, why should I spend money on a show that literally includes 50% of songs that I just don't like or don't enjoy as much. This album gives her the opportunity to put so much theatrics and story line in it...if she goes for a GH-like tour just because she needs good PR then I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in her because it's SO against everything she used to stand for.
  10. Not really, she usually focuses on the album she's actually promoting. From recent years (2001 - 2012) the songs mainly performed were Hung Up, Music and Candy Shop and the only songs from the 90's she has actually performed more than once since 2001 are Human Nature, Ray of Light and Frozen. That's NOT a lot. She has always focussed on 80's stuff and stuff from the album which is honestly a shame because her 90's and early 00 stuff is superior to A LOT of her overplayed 80's stuff. It's sad that she's once again giving into the demand of some of her annoying "fans" that stopped caring about her after Ray of Light and is performing shit like Holiday, Like a Virgin, La Isla Bonita and Vogue AGAIN when she has so many songs that have never been performed on tour and would work so much better in the context of the album. Seriously, I will NOT buy a ticket for the show if it ends up being the Immaculate Collection live (with some songs from RH). I will be deeply saddened and disappointed if another one of my favourite albums will end up like Ray of Light and American with a GH-like tour or just very few material ever being performed.
  11. She said that she's still going through the setlist and nothing is set in stone so far. I think the reason she hasn't mentioned most of the 90's / 00's stuff is probably because she knows the majority of concert-goers care about her 80's stuff. For the MDNA Tour fans were allowed to vote for "oldies" they want to appear on the setlist and the only songs they could vote for were songs from the first four albums. She teased Deeper and Deeper with a picture from Take a Bow, so that one's most likely in it too and will most certainly be part of the matador section along with Living for Love. With Take a Bow being in it, it's very likely that this section is gonna be somewhere at the very end of the show. Most likely the grand finale with Madonna fighting her last battle before her "ascent to heaven". From Ray of Light the song I can honestly see fitting better than anything else is Nothing Really Matters. It's also no secret that this song has been considered for inclusion on her previous tours numerous times and has always been dropped. However, she's really into deep house right now and Rescue Me, Deeper and Deeper and Living for Love are all in that vein so my guess is that it's definitely going to appear this time around. I think Love Profusion and American life are strong candidates as well. The first one fitting very well into the "Love"/"Road Trip" segment along with True Blue Like a Virgin/Body Shop and Rebel Heart and the latter one fitting very well into the war/apocalypse/revolution theme along with Between the Bars, Ghosttown, Joan of Arc and Hold Tight.
  12. WHY should she modify the tour just to please one or two places she goes to? It's honestly ridiculous to think about it from that perspective. Also, don't her Australian fans want to hear songs they've never gotten a chance to hear which would be her 95-15 stuff? Sorry, if I come off as rude but I'm tired of her ignoring her later stuff which in my opinion is superior to her 80's stuff. MUCH superior, to be honest.
  13. So far...no Ray of Light, Bedtime Stories, Music, American Life, Hard Candy, Confessions & MDNA. Just 80's and early 90's stuff. :( I hope she won't get shit for being racist.
  14. That rumour was taken from our very own fansite. ugh...way too many 80's songs. Not a single song from the second decade and once again, no song from Ray of Light or Music. I really hope that the majority ends up being samples or mashups. And doing a cover over some songs of her own is a WASTE!
  15. Pretty sure this is what the setlist is going to look like: 5 sections: 80's NYC (Madonna reminiscing about the beginnings of her career as a club performer) Tank Girl (Madonna fighting a WAR against social injustices - the section will be war themed and will end with an apocalypse) Road Trip (After conquering the world Madonna goes on a journey to find true love) Sin / Baptism (Madonna pushing the boundaries between religious imagery and sexual fanatsies - section will include nuns on stripper poles and gay priests) Matador / Ascent to Heaven (inspired by Madonna's TAB video and the Evita movie, Section deals with love & heartbreak, death & rebirth and ends with Madonna's ascent to heaven) ACT I - 80's NYC 1. Intro / Bitch I'm Madonna (with samples from "Illuminati" and "Best Night") 2. Dance Medley: Everybody / Music / Into the Groove (remixed by Diplo) 3. Who's That Girl (with excerpts from "La Isla Bonita") 4. Unapologetic Bitch 5. What It Feels Like for a Girl (Interlude) ACT II - Tank Girl 6. Iconic (with samples from "American Life") 7. Hold Tight (with samples from "4 Minutes" & "Borrowed Time") 8. Wash All Over Me (Rock Version, on guitar) 9. Ghosttown 10. Joan of Arc 11. Veni Vidi Vici (Interlude) ACT III - Road Trip 12. Rebel Heart 13. Like a Virgin / Body Shop (mashup) 14. True Blue / Dress You Up (medley) 15. Love Profusion or Don't Tell Me 16. S.E.X. (Interlude) ACT IV - Sin / Baptism 17. Holy Water (with extended Vogue section) 18. Justify My Love (with samples from "Whole Lotta Love") 19. Devil Pray / Like a Prayer (medley) 20. Rescue Me (Interlude) ACT V - Matador 21. Deeper and Deeper (Latin Mix) 22. HeartBreakCity (with excerpts from "Love Don't Live Here Anymore") 23. Take a Bow 24. Nothing Really Matters (some Latin/Tribal elements, based on the Club 69 Mix) 25. Living for Love (long version including samples from the Offer Nissim remixes)
  16. I think there are gonna be songs from the 90's and the 00's. The thing is, though that she knows or at least thinks that most of her concert goers care more about her 80's stuff. Last time fans could vote for oldies to be included and they only opened polls for 80's songs.
  17. My thoughts, exactly! I think it'a a very strong candidate!
  18. Changed mine a bit! Section 1: "Egypt" 1. Illuminati 2. Everybody / Music 3. Bitch, I'm Madonna 4. Give It 2 Me (Sly & Robbie Remix) 6. Best Night (Interlude) Section 2: "Witchcraft" 7. S.E.X. / Erotica 8. Holy Water 9. Inside Out or Rain 10. Frozen or Messiah 11. HeartBreakCity or Live to Tell 11. What It Feels Like for a Girl (Interlude) Section 3: "Revolution" 12. Unapologetic Bitch 13. Sorry / Express Yourself 14. Iconic 15. Joan of Arc 16. Rebel Heart 17. Don't Tell Me 18. Veni Vidi Vici (Interlude) Section 4: "Apocalypse" 19. Devil Pray 20. Secret / Nothing Fails 21. Ghosttown 22. Nothing Really Matters 23. Wash All Over Me (with dance outro) Encore: "Matador" 24. Take a Bow or You'll See 25. Living for Love (with samples from Like a Prayer)
  19. I think she will. Right after kicking off the tour in Australia in late 2015.
  20. Well the supposedly official and final cover for Madonna#s L4L single literally sucks ass. So I've decided to share my own cover with you guys. It's quite modest because I wanted it to look official. Let me know what you think!
  21. As if I didn't know that, already...I was talking about her usage of that metaphor LMAO. The fact that she uses religious imagery to describe her pussy juice is the same kind of ironic metaphor the name Madonna is supposed to portray. I know it's her actual name, but THE Madonna is religious symbol and she uses it to market herself while being anything but a saint. And her comparing her pussy juice to holy water can be interpretated as her asking her lover if she, her essence is so good that it can be compared to something holy. You get what I'm saying?
  22. If you put the album in the right order (the way M has envisioned it) you'll see that they fit the album quite well. Rebel Heart at the core is retrospective and self-reflective album. She explores to very distinct sides of her personality. One side is the renegade/sexual/IDGAF side of her personality, the other one is the more introvert, romantic and spiritual side of her. Holy Water is the essence of Madonna if you take a closer look at it. The metaphor "Holy Water" is supposed to represent what the name and the artist Madonna stands for. She is not a saint, although her name might imply it. Holy Water represents the juxtaposition of religious imagery and S.E.X. which is what the name/brand/artist Madonna is all about. I have my album ordered this way and you can call me delusional or insane, but I'm sure it's the way it was meant to be (except for the bonus tracks): 1. Illuminati 2. Bitch, I'm Madonna 3. Best Night 4. S.E.X. 5. Holy Water 6. Inside Out 7. Autotune Baby* 8. Addicted* 9. Unapologetic Bitch 10. Iconic 11. Veni Vidi Vici 12. Rebel Heart 13. Joan of Arc 14. Graffiti Heart* 15. Beautiful Scars* 16. Body Shop 17. Devil Pray 18. Hold Tight 19. Ghosttown 20. Messiah 21. HeartBreakCity 22. Living for Love 23. Wash All Over Me 24. Borrowed Time* 25. Queen* Messiah -> HBC -> L4L -> WAOM is like a baptism! *optional additions
