I just read this article from 2001 about Madonna's beginnings: http://nypost.com/2001/06/12/they-dont-worship-madonna-her-old-corona-neighbors-recall-future-star-as-stuck-up-sponger/ Some people recall her as being wild and scary, which I can imagine... What I never heard of before was the last statement: "When the Breakfast Club took the stage and Madonna started singing, people didn’t seem to like her,†said Anthony Demarinis outside the Lemon Ice King of Corona. “The boos started getting louder and people started throwing fruits and vegetables at her. She just left the stage. I don’t know if she was crying or anything. Probably not, she was pretty tough" I never heard that she was unsuccessful when she first tried to sing... Actually her voice has never been perfect, so it could also contain some truth. But in general people always say she had this "star quality" already. Does someone know anything about it? -
What's the name of the movie she played in with her bend Emmy and the Emmys? I saw few clips on VH-1 driven playing Hot hous flower and she speaks about money "I love money, money is my love..." something like that? Is that movie anywhere to be find?
