null 2,303
Why did Madonna sometimes wear the blue velvet pants for the Express Yourself/Deeper & Deeper/Why's It So Hard?/In This Life segment instead of the blue sequin short shorts? Then before that she'd still wear the black sequin short shorts. It kind of doesn't make sense to me.
madgefan 10,137
I've always thought it was just a matter of temperature. She wore the short shorts in places like Latinamerica, Australia and Japan, especially the first two regions since it was spring/summer during her visit in late 1993. Look, this is even rarer, she wore the same pants as Nicky and Donna. I don't know the location though. Any insights? Anyone?

ITG 3,321
Would be for different climates, & maybe some of the costumes wear down after sweating so much in them. Her pants varied in Who's That Girl tour also, as well as Re-Invention corset. Jorick 1,453
As far as I know (read it somewhere), she started of with the long pants but trippled over the pipes of the pants, after that she worde the short pants. Fighter

Drum Dub 1,883
I read some time ago that the problem was that during some of the shows in NY the Oxford pants got unstitched on the rear, and she got furious. As a form of apology Dolce & Gabbana sent to her the sequined shorts.

Anyone? wow I have never seen M wearing these pants during the Studio 54 section (the long blue ones, yes... but not these ones). Judging from the stairs which you can see in the background I would assume it was either an open air gig or a very large indoor arena a la Tokyo Dome or something like that. null 2,303
So I'm asking another question about Girlie Show and this question is directed more towards those who were patrons of the show. How long was the period actually between Holiday and Justify My Love? I know the Australia,Wembley, and Japan concerts all have the period edited shorter because of their broadcasting times. I just wanted to know because I want to remake the audio for it into one big audio file for my impersonations. Thanks if anyone can help me. null 2,303
Oh and I also forgot to ask the same for in between Justify and Everybody. I think the ones in the recordings are the actual length of the break between those songs.

Drum Dub 1,883
Does anybody know where did this actually happen?? It's so RARE to see Madonna throwing herself to the audience!! She's not throwing herself into the audience, she's only doing her routine and dance moves during the second segment of Holiday. You can see her left foot on the floor. Picture have blurry movement effect  madgefan
