Is it true that fans are bossy before RHT shows?

I google it and I found out that "essay" from gagadaily.com. Just to let you guys know.. :bananawave:

well well well of course not a surprised at all.

I'm actually the one who wrote this "essay" on GGD. My username is the same one I have here.

I wasn't actually going to say anything when I saw this thread was opened, but the fact that I am first and foremost a Gaga fan has nothing to do with it. Surprisingly enough, there are some of us who can make abstraction of the problems between them and the fanbases and enjoy the music. For example, while a couple of stans where dragging Gaga that day in the queue, 95% percent of the other people I talked to had only good things to say about her.

I'm sorry if you don't like what I have to say, but that was my experience that day, and while I had an amazing spot and the concert was amazing, the portion of the fanbase I met that day was rude, bossy and condescending af

Hi all,

Truth to be told I went to the shows in Antwerp, Paris 1 and 2. The 3 of them with early entries. Spock's essay is an exact recollection of how things happened in the 3 shows I attended myself. That being said, although, some fans are definitively borderline bossy, I thought the system was pretty handy when we were entering the arena as it was helping security a lot.

But yeah, sometimes some of us were really pushy and really not in the positive spirit M tries to spread during the show...

Sorry for posting what you said, Spock. D: I can edit the OP if you don't wish for it to be here x

I wonder if it would be a huge issue if that essay wouldn't be from GAGAdaily...

People should answer the question the same way regardless tbh. It's stupid for anybody to assume from this question that it's from someone who specifically joined an M forum and dislikes her because it's not even about her, it's about some fans. Sigh.

Here's how I experienced Early Entry in Herning (Denmark):

I started queueing at 7.30 a.m. and was #24 in the line. A handful of people had spent the entire night outside the arena (two people had been camping for 2 nights), but most of the people in front of me had arrived between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. You had to show up in person in order to be given a number, but once we had our number, we could leave for up to an hour at a time without losing our places in the queue.

Since it was freezing cold and raining, M's team started registering Early Entry ticket holders at 3.30, a few hours earlier than scheduled. Upon registration, we were escorted to a designated Early Entry area in the foyer of the arena.

At 5.30, the doors to the arena proper opened for Early Entry ticket holders. We were escorted into the arena in groups of 20 people at a time. When all 160 Early Entry ticket holders were inside the arena, doors opened for people with General Admission or seated tickets.

I ended up front row at the tip of the heart stage. I left my spot twice before the show to go the cloakroom and, later, the loo and made my way back to my front-row spot without any probems.

During the entire day, I came across only one bitchy or bossy fan: Although he had shown up late and was #150 in the queue, he was determined to get to the front row no matter what, even if that meant cutting the queue. However, M's VIP programme coordinator assured us that he wouldn't be allowed to cut the queue, and indeed he wasn't.

There are always rude fans in every fan base. I have met Mariah fans, Gags fans, Janet fans, MJ fans and Madonna fans. Most have a mix of those who make you afraid for your life lol and those that you can see making friends with.

This is one experience not every experience. Just ignore the crazy ones and focus on going to a good show.

I was there at the show mentioned in the first post

RE The guy & his mother were trying to cut in line most of the afternoon & would not quit

I think they were numbered around 170-180

When we had the final line just outside the arena they again tried to push in near the front of line.

A few people got annoyed & vocalised it

Why would people just allow that?

Shortly after the Live nation/Madonna assistant with the VIP books came & sorted it out

In the end, it was nothing too dramatic. No one else tried to push in either (that i saw).

The number system worked well almost the entire Europe leg as far as im aware

There were people trying to sign up people not even in the same country at the time so people were physically required to be at the venue to get a number to be fair to all

Similar small incidents happened other Europe shows where Live Nation checked numbers etc & moved people to their correct spot etc

I have seen way worse at many concerts, including previous Madonna ones in Italy & Paris.

Everything in the original post is true, that is what happened. I didnt find it that bad but i can understand some would find it confronting.

Yes there is definitely bossy people at all concerts including Madonnas, but for good or bad reasons.
