  2. It was always titled Erotica, not You Thrill Me. We have articles written by the guy who was first report on the demos by going to the Library of Congress and listening to them. Then we have Shep Pettibone's own diaries. Erotic was the last thing she recorded, I believe according to him. It was done just for the book. The album had the title "The Girlie Show" before she settled on "Erotica".

  3. My shows are approaching so quickly I can't shake off the anxiety and excitement. I can't wait. I promise to give the most detailed review I am capable of after the shows.

  9. At the moment they are removed totally. They were on sale and then removed, then soon, then back, then soon, now removed again. I am waiting for the tourbook to place an order. The UK store answered me saying they will definitely get the tour merchandise - which will cost us a lot less in terms of shipping - but they don't know when.

  11. I've been debating between a few things. I'm a bit broke until I get to LA so it won't be much, but I have made a homemade Madame X eyepatch to wear at least. I had a few outfits I was looking at, but I just am not sure if I'll have time to get everything beforehand. I'll be sporting a Madonna shirt either way lol

  12. No, they couldn't. There's no way they could sell this tour to even a half-arena crowd, especially starting at post-11pm vs. 9:30pm on the RHT. A lot of her sales are to fans going to multiple nights. Even as a big fan, I can admit the setlist isn't going to draw anyone who doesn't either want to go to an intimate show to say they've gone or isn't already a big fan to begin with. The GP doesn't care at all about Madame X the album or watching a 2 hour political statement (the people around me said she's preaching to the choir, which is totally true). The setlist and stage setup wouldn't work in an arena or have the same impact. That said, the theater experience is a once in a lifetime privilege with M. I'm glad I went.

  15. Same. If I had a doubt on a song choice and after seeing it performed, I understood why she did it. I always love how she remixes making songs feel new. I have loved each tour every time. I can never get enough.

  20. There were no hand painted hoodies in the vegas Pop Up store. Seems like it’s just leftover merchandise from the nyc pop up. I’m sure Cesar’s entertainment is rolling the red carpet out for her, thus giving her the retail space for the “pop up” shop. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her in Vegas more and more in the future. All 3 shows are sold out, 4,000 people a show. The guitar picks are about to be available on the official site. “Soon”

  22. The guitar picks were at all the New York shows. Did they happen to have any of the hand painted hoodies for like 450?

  27. Anyone on here like Marleen Kane, Donna Summer etc ? The word 'Suite' on some of their records usually means a side long medley. Where one song ''sorta'' changes into another or actually does. Like on the MacArthur Park Suite. A V long winded way to ask if anyone has blended all the versions of this tune ? Side 1 of an imaginary album...anyone ? I may have a go myself. ?

    Madame X Tour | Chicago

I spoke to her team about it. That night where the guy gave awkward answers was the night that prompted her to sit on the stairs and do a few group chats the next couple of nights. When it goes well, it goes super well - Dave and I had her doing THAT laugh during our chats with her, and Chris Rock was amazing. I just think it depends on the person - everyone handles these kind of situations differently. When the fan is reacting well and being cheeky, she plays up to it and it flows. When people give yes/no answers or clam up, she gets frustrated (I was sat in the same area for four of the Chicago shows so saw all the chats close up; on 'my' night I was moved down to the chair) - she painfully and non-jokingly rolled her eyes during the Bobby/Barry chat. I felt for the guy and for her - he needed her to help him through it and she needed him to engage. But the variety makes it different I guess. I would have died if my chat hadn't lived up to all my hopes; and ive been lucky enough to meet her briefly a few times before it, so I absolutely get the pressure some people must be under especially if they're worried about saying the 'wrong' thing. I hope the segment stays and lots of other fans get 'their' moment for what its worth. Your review is Awesome BTW! Loved reading it!

  29. I went to the show on the 27th (MNFL4L Seat 419). I saw the Batukadeiras before they marched to the stage to play Batuka and waved to them, and they acknowledged me and smiled. They couldn't wave because they started their cue. During I Rise, they marched out, and I waved again, and so did they. Madonna marched out, too, and I got to touch her shoulder/arm. I really didn't expect to see them up close, and I was so lucky to have a corner seat. I saw her on the 21st at a balcony seat and because no one bought my ticket. I don't regret paying twice to see her. I really liked her show. I won tickets for the Rebel Heart Tour, but I was busy taking pictures and videos that I really didn't get to enjoy it. The tour also seemed rushed, and it didn't help that she had to start her tour immediately after the release of her album due to it leaking way early. I was underwhelmed with the tour because it just lacked originality or creativity. I am glad she chose to get rid of phones and cameras this time around. I was really in the moment at her show. I really will cherish this moment.

  30. I feel the same. I adore her as a performer and as an artist, but I don’t believe any of her love and humanity speeches actually represent how she would treat her audience, or treat a stranger on the street. It’s been well documented for years that’s she’s probably not what many of us would consider a ‘nice’ person. Its a hustle... it’s a con... But again, that’s okay, I wouldn’t say any of us are fans of her because of her sparkling , kind and friendly personality... she’s an artist and performer, and she does that very well.

  36. I don't understand this obsession with comparing/ranking tours etc. Every time she hits the road she gives us a different story. Anyway, I've seen her live many times, saw RHT twice and it was the most fun and joyous experience I've ever had on a Madonna concert.
