Give me this performance any time of the day or night! It's fire in another unexplainable dimension. And please, Madonna, give us you dancing on a moving side to side stage again too.3 points -
I remember the day I bought the soundtrack on cassette. I thought "there're just 2 Madonna songs in there" maybe it's not worth it. But I bought it anyway. When I got home I played it entirely as it was so good... and when Time Stood Still started playing I WAS MESMERIZED! How could I missed this song for so long? Why wasn't it a single or at least a bit more well-known. It's truly a hidden gem.3 points

Me too, always detested the song, up there with Young Hearts Run Free, Wonderful Life, Whole Of The Moon, Karma Chameleon and True. I can tolerate the Madonna version, especially the remixes which sound nothing like the original, but I don't think its a song I'd like much by anyone. I was so surprised it made number one here. She had so many more songs deserving a number one spot. I'm sure Don was thrilled with his royalties.2 points -

I remember going to the theater to see this with a friend, the soundtrack is really solid, beautiful electronic music minus the rando Christina Aguilera song. My favorite is "This Life" by Mandalay, love the Luke Vibert/Wagonchrist Remix too, and of course Maverick artist Olive's lush cover of 10cc's "I'm Not In Love".2 points -

Wow, the other thread goes "Is MX her worst tour?", I can't answer but it's definitely a rollercoaster of panicking! Worst experience since 1990, when one of the two BAT Rome shows was cancelled and I wasn't able to buy the ticket. One of the worst days of my life. I was too young and unexperienced, if I had gone to Rome I would have found so many tickets there.2 points

I have done a few yoga classes in college a while ago, and to put it simply (hope I'm not being reductive with the matter) the mantra in Shanti/Ashtangi is the opening one, and part of Cyberraga is the closing one. @UnruheI found this transcription, which is the part of Cyberraga that I mentioned: Om Svastih prajābhyah paripālayantām Nyāyena mārgena mahim mahīśāh Gobrāhmanebhyah śubhamastu nityam Lokāh samastāh sukhino bhavantu Om Shanti Shanti Shanti Om I could never find any other information about the other bits of Cyberraga... Don't know what it is, nor have found any other transcriptions of it... And what is weird - or maybe a clue - is that this part, the closing one is the exact bit of the song that she sang in the MDNA Tour performance...2 points -

Yep, Janet's team was the same way when I saw her in 2011. They were demanding things to be deleted, stop recording and putting their hands up in front of people. I think fans want to provide some glimpses despite most of the good footage we've gotten on previous tours is from carefully angled and set up recording rather than using a hidden camera to record audio/video.2 points -

I believe Live Nation owned the stages from Confessions up to Rebel Heart? This is just an assumption but if I'm not mistaken Arthur Fogel started to work with Madonna as far as 2006. Maybe earlier, I don't know. Anyway, I think it's normal to reuse certain elements from one tour to another and lend those same parts to other live acts that are constantly touring. Didn't Ricky Martin use some Confessions Tour elements back in the day? And in 2012 Gaga used the same stage 'structure' in Mexico, and Paul MacCartney too at Hyde Park? Does that count as well?1 point

I didn't even know there was an animated film. Never seen Evita. Not keen on the theatrical production and find the soundtrack a total chore of a listen. I'd probably watch it if it came on TV - but it doesn't! I was very supportive of her movies in the beginning and always went to the cinema to support them, but I thought Body Of Evidence was just a step too far and not very good, so I stopped following her film career really. That said, I do like Swept Away. I think she comes across as a right cow in it, and it's not a part I would have suggested she do, but I think it has some good moments and holds my interest.1 point -

This site suggests HIQ MP3 Voice Recorder for Android: https://homestudioexpert.com/how-to-record-high-quality-audio-on-smart-phone/ Which is the best output setting? I am really curious to see if the yondr cases will be used in Europe. Were there also metal detector controls in the US? Never seen them in London... Sorry for my total incompetence, but where do you attach the external mic? In the headphones hole? I have one similar to this that I used to attach to a minidisc recorder:1 point

recordpad for iphone. Later today, I'm gonna make another test. With dictaphone (the one that comes with iphone), I cant adjust the settings. with recordpad I can adjust...and I will do it for the best. I don't know if yonder cases will be used here in Lisbon. Let's wait for the first show. About phones...I will take two. They can put one in prison, and the other will be a spy...ah ah ah but If there are no yonder cases...i will use both... and yes, the sound I recorded yesterday with recordpad app was so much better than the one with dictaphone...1 point

I bought Ray of Light on the day it came out and the vocal take in Shanti is the same you hear in spotify today. Even the radio broadcast version, which is edited differently is the same vocal take. If there is a different Shanti vocal take it's yet to be leaked Regarding Cyberraga all the lyrics I have come across are phonetic adaptations of what she pronounces. The japanese Music release which comes with the lyrics booklet only comes with the english translation of the song, no sanskrit transcript like Shanti in the ROL booklet. Does anyone have a correct transcript of Cyber-Raga?1 point -

Voguerista reacted to RUADJAI for a topic
I mean, the app shouldn't matter. The phone is capable of what the phone is capable. Just make sure whatever app it is you adjust the settings. I wasn't paying attention and my settings were on a lower quality using the iPhone's basic recording app. I would assume its set that way to save space on the phone. The yonder case obviously probably muffles it a bit, but you don't really have a choice.1 point -
