i dont get the hate for the remix's sound. Do people realise Dua is promoting a Club dance remix album of all the tracks from Future Nolstalgia??? What would be the point of just putting Madonna and Missy on the album version to promote a club remix album. its souped up from the original but thats the point. It doesnt loose the essence of the original track. just turns it up. Its totally hot!!!!! Would love to be hearing this in a club right now.

Poor use of room on CD's 6 minutes version of Holiday? Dreadful edits of Express Yourself, Cherish & Dress You Up. The DVD was the worst quality. The artwork contained lyrics from songs that weren't even featured on the record. Iffy mastering issues. There were pops on Music & Erotica. The weird inclusion of Miles Away over Give It 2 Me which was a genuine hit. A few questionable songs on the track list and some glaring omissions which felt odd. The irradication of BallaDonna. The lead single had a different remix for the video which was not on the CD when you bought it so casual fans would have been miffed. The version of Revolver was a rough mix and even the guy who made it said it was the wrong version that had been used. It was just poorly thought out and badly delivered...and in truth Celebration the song is cute enough but it and Revolver really were the bargain bucket of Madonna songs that lead into the cheapness of the MDNA era. They're no Justify My Love & Rescue Me. The whole thing just felt rushed and "will this do". I'm still not over the 6 minutes version of Holiday to be honest...I mean...Debbie from Compilations was clearly having a crisis that day.

I’ve thought this a few times recently (like with the photo with her boobs out etc) but seeing these yesterday posted at the same time she posted the video (singing levitating) I think what’s mostly to blame is Ricardo’s photo editing. Because in the video she looks normal and like herself, but these photos taken at the exact same time she looks warped and bizarre and not herself. So it’s pretty clear to me now that he just goes too far editing his photos of her and that’s what looks weird. Which is pretty annoying because then everyone just thinks she’s had more and more work done and ruined her face when she hasn’t. I wish he’d just tone it down a bit, she looks absolutely fine in the videos with no retouching!

I perfectly get your point, you were talking about INSPIRATION and not acting with a discriminating behaviour. I was expecting a Chinese/Oriental video the first time I heard the song. The "Evita" audition makes perfectly sense, plus add the fact the Oriental concept could have been too predictable and Madonna does not like to be predictable. She always chose the most unexpected option and likes to mix different cultures inspirations to create something new. Anyway, yes, the song has an evident Chinese / Oriental vibe. In terms of melody and in terms of instruments / arrangements. Even if masked by the r'n'b sound is still evident.
