Word is a member from PopJustice (a reliable one who revealed she was working again with Mirwais two years ago and also that she was recording a part for a Dua Lipa remix) said that the work for her next album has already begun and that she is working with Pat Leonard. He then removed his post (apparently another reliable member asked a moderator to delete it because whatever M has in store right now musically is supposed to kept secret). Update on page 23

It’s a pandemic. People are clinging to a bit of joy. Of hope in the familiar and a potential celebration. If she chooses to troll and offer false hope then ... well. I think it’s slightly poor taste and another example of a lack of the lack of awareness she more often than not displays in recent months. I dunno. For an artist who frequently claims to understand the power of music in times of need, it’s a bit .....tone deaf. ..but get your kicks mama I guess. She’s hardly been inspirational and encouraging to her followers during the pandemic. She’s been bratty and self embroiled. I mean .. we been knew but you know... read the room.

Phew! I'm glad this is out LOL I really didn't wanna say anything because I don't want to perpetuate false rumours or give fans false hopes, but around a month ago there was info circulating in some Lisbon fancircles that she was leaving the Lisbon house because of a new album that is already being recorded in Los Angeles, not because David left Benfica. Apparently she wanted to keep the house from what I've heard. Take this with a grain of salt, tho. But I can personally attest it's a very good source due to past experiences (and because Lisbon isn't that big, lol). There was no mention of a producer, tho.

I listen to it every day but I agree and can see how it’s not a user friendly piece. Very experimental and weird, but that’s what makes it amazing. I love her more conceptual works (AL, Erotica, MX) but understand that doesn’t seem to be her fanbases opinion. They’d rather bop to confessions 24/7

You know that was My thought. Especially after Pat's own project with reworked Madonna songs disappeared and he got a mystery funder and I never got my handbag back. Maybe M thought "lets rejig together" and release a Reinvented Greatest Hits in this downtime. I mean..Stephen Bray has been particularly active on socials with M anniversaries the last twelve months too. That's my money.

Some of her fans show a lack of awareness too though. She hasn't been very well this year, especially her health problems must have been traumatizing. People take her social media too seriously and always have anywho, I stopped doing that years ago since it annoyed me too, the false hope and teasing... we've known she does that a lot so what's the point of clinging to her every word and being annoyed constantly...

There's really no reason to choose between the 2... streaming is the new TV so it makes sense to release it on streaming for bigger exposure, that doesn't mean it wouldn't be released on dvd/Bluray also. it would be stupid not to do both at this point imho. Exposure is good for her and whatever money comes from streaming, she can't rely on a few thousand copies sold to hardcore fans. I really hope it's released on streaming cos I would for sure watch it primarily there, the fact she released the Madame X film on Prime gives me hope for the tour. What's taking so long anywho......

Can't see an album of new Material around the corner at all. The reimagined stuff I can defo see because all her old producers could have just been working away on stuff with her previous studio vocals. The thought of a Pat Leonard and a Mirwais production is a pairing I never thought I would see happen. That would be something else. I've often found Mirwais melodically challenging and less emotional than her other producers. Her most delicate and classically musical songwriter with Mirwais production could be world ending. I don't want to get excited and It's a pipe dream at this point but....

It's completely understandable that she wants to sell the house in Lisbon. There's no reason for her to keep it if David is not playing soccer anymore, or if she has no further business happening there. I think M is a NYC girl at heart, and she only moves when there's business happening elsewhere - whether that's actual business, or a man haha. I believe she was even staying at someone else's house in LA earlier this year, right? I'm sure she only keeps the London house to be closer to Rocco, plus I suppose it's her base in Europe. Anyway, back to the main topic — Hopefully she is indeed working on new stuff. It's annoying that since Celebration she keeps us waiting forever for new material... As I said somewhere else on this forum, she totally deserves to enjoy her life more now and take it easy, but damn, so hard to be patient as a fan. She spoilt me by releasing music often back in the day...whether that was a proper album, or soundtracks, compilations, etc. As for a collab with Pat Leonard... we would all love that but sounds quite far fetched. Who knows? She likes to surprise people.

Honestly, and I'm gonna say this as a native, Lisbon is just out of hand and isolative for her and doesn't offer much in the long run. It's a small city with a lot of development yet to happen. She first came here because David wanted to play soccer, she chose Lisbon out of 3 choices and David went into Benfica. Now, apparently, David left Benfica but the question is: is she leaving because she doesn't want to stay anymore after the Madame X era, or because David wants to leave?... If it's the latter (which I think it is, David is a teen anyway and must have gotten bored or something, I don't see Madonna taking that away from his as a mother if he chose to continue soccer), then she had a reason to wanting to keep the house but not keeping it in the end as per the rumour, because when would she come here, really?...

Would be amazing if this came true. Not getting my hopes up though. The thing I don’t understand is why she couldn’t keep 2 houses? She’s a multimillionaire. Maybe she see’s maintaining both as a waste? I will miss her being in Lisbon though. Madame X is such an amazing album!

A Netflix special concert is the perfect route for her. Casuals checking her concert out on demand is way more important at this point than a blue Ray dvd. Like it or not streaming is the future and even the uptake in streaming in older fanbases is substantial. Why wouldn’t you want everything at the touch of a button as well as physical. It’s a no brainier. Legends don’t stay legends by keeping thier works locked in a cupboard. They keep it alive by introducing it to new generations and that means utility new mediums. She’s done it throughout her whole career. From MTV to video singles to the internet and DVD singles etc. But suddenly there’s a hesitancy to keep the dogs turning. Its...Un-Madonna to hoard the goodies. She’s behind the times.

I love a good rumour. I spread them about my friends all the time. For her next music: 1) She needs to release an album or single with "Like A..." in the title. Always works. 2) She needs to stop collaborating with nobodies and flash-in-the-pans - she doesn't need to. They just taint her work and image. 3) She needs to stop with the gimmicks. 4) She must remember less is more.

So, new album next year (Oct/Nov), new tour on 2022, biopic in late 2022/early 2023 with new collection/original sountrack with at least a new song. Why not ? I really don't know WHEN she syatarted working witk Patrick Leonard, since she seemed very busy writing with Diablo Cody... Patrick Leonard seems quite a "safe" name that pops up everytime she (seems to) start workig on a new project, but after the demo and the abandoned Patrick project, who knows ? It may not even be for a new album, but for the biopic soundtrack, no no new album in sight for 2021. btw, I'm excited she's producing new music.

Does she know what "drop" means in the music business? Why would she even say such a thing? She or whoever is doing her IG stories. Words have meaning and if the Hung Up video WAS the drop then someone in her team needs to know that that doesn't qualify as a "drop" announcement. And Madonna has always been proud of being italian. In the past Italians were discriminated against in the same way as other minorities, they were even lynched. Some thought of them as criminals just as many think of immigrants today, they were also discriminated against for their religion. Something about history repeating....

It's nice to see that immigration is the one single thing that made you "give up" on your own rights and millions of other LGBTQ citizens in the country who's right are currently being clipped away by the Republican party. And about immigration - we're all immigrants in our own way whose ancestors traveled to the US for a better life so maybe not be so hypocritical. If you want to be detached from the alphabet soup so badly, then why not become straight, marry a woman, move to the south, and wave your racist confederate flag on the way to church since this seems to be the "normal" life that half the country thinks is the "only" lifestyle there is.

If i remember correctly Dua mentionned the fact that she would love to work with M and that her manager was trying to contact her and several weeks alter that member on Pop Jutsice revealed it was happening, that they recorded the track, giving details that were never shared before, that it was an already existing track remixed, the date of release etc i will try to find the thread on the forum and post it.
