    Stunning

What an iconic stunning woman. That face structure and that body.... definition of iconic. Those eyes, those eyebrows, those lips, that teeth gap, that jawline... the closest thing to perfection.

  2. I’m getting something in this #makingmagic hashtag. Considering there was lots of Magic stuff ore Madame X maybe she created a bunch of stuff that was great but didn’t really for the Madame x theme and was such a good concept that she wanted to keep it as a separate project. Remember the masks etc? Also maybe making magic is her way of commenting on her musical creative process. A pagan winter solstice project would definitely be interesting. That’s 21st of December this year. fire and light etc.

  4. I've never heard this story, have you? I would have loved to seen it. Rafe Spall reveals he ended up 'grinding' with Madonna at wild party in NYC before his dodgy dance moves dissipated the crowd Rafe Spall has recounted the hilarious night he ended up grinding with pop legend Madonna. The Shaun of the Dead star, 37, revealed he had ended up pulling off some dodgy dance moves with the songstress, 62, during a party at her house on an upcoming episode of There's Something About Movies. Rafe recalled how he and his pals were invited to Madonna's New York City mansion after he had appeared in Betrayal on Broadway alongside Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz. 'Madonna comes and Madonna comes backstage afterwards and she really liked the show and I had a good part in the show and she was very kind to me and then the next day we all got invited to dinner at Madonna's house. 'On the Upper West side, these two huge mansions pushed together. Dinner finishes, table gets cleared. Then she's like "everybody get up and dance!" 'I'm like, don't back down. So I'm there and I'm dancing. And then Madonna comes right up to me and starts grinding on me, like hard! She's tiny, she's down there with her gold grill on.' Rafe recalled how he and his pals were invited to Madonna's New York City mansion after he had appeared in Betrayal on Broadway alongside Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz Rafe admitted dancing with the Like A Prayer hitmaker had terrified him but he tried to keep his cool, saying: 'And my whole torso starts to sweat, I'm like really frightened. She looks in my eyes and she says to me "this is who you are, this is who you are." 'Again I'm like don't back down, so I'm like "yeah, this is who I am Madge". I'm dying, I'm shaking from trying to brave this one out.' 'I thought, I've got to get out of this. I managed to shimmy out by going, do you know where the toilet is Madonna? 'I go downstairs and I'm like, oh my god, Madonna's just been grinding on me.' Icon: Rafe admitted dancing with the Like A Prayer hitmaker had terrified him but he tried to keep his cool, saying: 'And my whole torso starts to sweat, I'm like really frightened' Moves: He said: 'I've got two moves right, I've got the butterfly and the bogle. I'm in there doing the butterfly (above) and the bogle, the crowd just dissipates' However, Rafe's plight wasn't over yet as when he rejoined the party, a dance circle had formed, with Queen of Pop Madonna aptly on a throne. 'She says "Rafe! Get in the circle!" I'm like, don't back down. Madonna's on the throne, all of her dancers, having to pull off some moves. 'I've got two moves right, I've got the butterfly and the bogle. I'm in there doing the butterfly and the bogle, the crowd just dissipates.'

  12. Let us remember that Madonna is a woman with strong religious convictions, therefore I am not surprised at all by those phrases of Swim, which surely Madonna would be based on that biblical passage from the Gospel of Saint Matthew that says: And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

  18. Take it with a grain of salt but rumor is that she will include a brand new song produced by Pat Leonard for the movie. The movie and the song could share the same title (That part about the title is not sure though but it's being considered). Also Madonna is reported being frustrated because she wanna tells many things in the movie but cannot include everything she wants because of running time constraints. A book AFTER the movie could happen.

  19. I believe I once read Swim was supposed to be released as a single. Apparently Norman Cook (aka Fatboy Slim) was asked to remix the song, but since he hated it Swim was canceled as a single. Unfortunately I can't find this information on the web, so do take it with a grain of salt.

  24. Hearing celebrities mouthing off about other celebrities is only testament to their enormous immaturity. It’s on the individual for participating in elevating famous people to the level we do collectively. All of it is vapid and stupid outside of the context of the accomplishment of pushing against limitation. Madonna embodied this for so many years, but all fame has become irrelevant. It is nothing more than a placeholder for time and space. Rupert Everett was embittered by his obsession with himself and his fleeting fame. Only in very recent memory has he seemingly gotten a giant does of humble pie, but mostly he still seems to endlessly complain despite this alleged enlightenment! It’s hard to age out of beauty, but mortality is universal.

    Words and Music: Swim

ok, I see what you're saying. It seems like Orbit really just created a bunch of stuff and then either M had to edit... or Orbit edited himself / took elements from different demos to use all over the place. The end of Pure Shores is definitely a finished version of Swim though, musically. but like I said the beginning is one piece of the puzzle for Drowned World/Substitute for Love.

    Words and Music: Swim

Interesting... the doodles at the beginning are definitely SWIM related, however the music then turns into what sounds like a demo for Drowned World/Substitute for Love. Maybe that's why the final product has a double name, comes from a few demos put together?

  31. There's an ongoing rumor on Michael Jackson's fan community concerning The Weeknd's superbowl performance as well. Maybe both Michael and Madonna could make an appearence together (obviously not physically)? But that would be asking too much I guess. :-)

  32. I had to lower the contrast to get a less sharp/detailed picture before running it through Topas, I did it so I could more evenly re-sharpen it in the "after effect" part of the project. I hate how AI sharpens the face and the hair is not as sharp (not a problem in close ups though) but I managed to do a decent job of capturing hair details (some of the screen shots have her moving a bit, like LAV and Cherish) by pre-AI processing and AI after effects. This is why I slighly made the picture more faded before Topaz, so I could sharpen it with AVS, normally I hate "sharpening" it looks very fake if not done with care. Also I tried not to drown the concert in color. So many make the show way too dark and too colorful, almost cartoonish. But I am no pro, just my opinion.

  33. Friendly reminder that Madonna was being written off throughout her second album era despite the success. To compare an artist much younger than M was when she had started to a woman 40 yrs into her career is futile. Dua you are doing great sweetie. She respects the legacy and in the baron pop landscape we have today we should be supporting her for bringing the bopps, pounding the pop and bowing to the legends who went before her. All queens were princesses once. Give her time. A bonafide UK pop legend in the making. I’m grateful for that and her charisma and presence has improved even over one era. This protectionist pop cartel is suffocating. Cut a bish some slack. No one coming for your mamas seat ladies!

  34. I think what @captainjaymeant is that a successful album - a great album indeed, very well produced - doesn't make you the new Madonna, or a music icon. The spot is definitely on her - the promotion is working very well. But we have witnessed this many times, since the Debbie Gibson years. Or even with Britney. Only time will tell: let's see what happens in 10 years. Personally, watching her recent performances I was surprised by how everything is so well built around her but how she is totally lacking "star quality". I like the album, but she has a very weak stage presence.

  38. Not sure I'm liking this, but, I love her hair, nails, and makeup. What do you think? Holy 2000s! Madonna's Daughter Stars in Juicy Couture's New Underwear Campaign Holy 2000s! Juicy Couture is going back to its roots with an underwear collaboration with affordable underwear brand Parade. Of course, it wouldn't be a true Juicy collab if there weren't any Swarovski crystals involved or the brand's iconic logo visible on the pieces. The supersoft, sustainable underwear features "Juicy" written across the backside of the briefs as well as on the logo waistbands. The collection even comes with a Juicy version of Parade's Instagrammable hair scarf that has "Live Free, Wear Juicy" spray-painted on it. One surprise guest? Madonna's daughter Lourdes Leon, who stars in the campaign images. In a press release, the two brands gave a little background about why they decided to team up in the most Juicy way ever — in the form of a story: "Once upon a time Parade and Juicy Couture set out to create the ultimate collection for nice girls that like stuff. We were inspired by the revolutionary years of the early 2000s when tracksuits were softer, rises were lower, and there was bling on everything. Together, we designed a collection to celebrate the timelessness of brilliant and daring self-expression. A match made in heaven with thousands of sparkling crystals, glamorous jewel-tone shades, and a little bit of velour, Parade & Juicy Couture lived happily ever after." You can buy the limited-edition pieces in various types of set boxes, which have fun names like "Dude, Where's My Couture?" and come with a scarf and a little velour pouch inspired by Juicy's infamous tracksuits. Keep reading to get a closer look at the campaign images and shop the affordable pieces.

  41. If we’re going to talk about rated it’s that Madame X is UNDERRATED! So many fans trash this album yet it’s seriously her best. She went after global experimental political pop and it succeeds and more! Yea there are some unnecessary songs like Bitch I’m Loca (i feel like her label is making her release these super long albums which this one would obviously be cut out if it was shorter) and even her “overrated” and successful albums like Confessions have fillers: Push but legit the core of the Madame X album is so strong! Easily her most ambitious and experimental work yet and all the fans who were CRAVING (pun not intended) her to do non trendy music swept it under the rug and now demand a disco album WHICH IS INFACT TRENDY RIGHT NOW!
