Shit, you should see my digital music library... it's organized af. My Madonna remix one alone runs for days with all artwork and info inputted. Edit a DVD.. pfft.. please.6 points

Sorry if a bit off topic but... when Madame X got released "an insider" that many people said it was trustful commented that there were some "dance songs" from the album sessions left for "something in the future", some people kinda missuderstood and thought that she also recorded M15, but then he corrected that people and he said that "that material was NOT enought for a full album, that maybe for a few new songs inclusions on a Greatest Hits album after the era" (not 100% those words but that idea basically). Now the rumor of an EP (not an album) with Madame X sessions dance songs after the era appears. Someone remembers that rumor? You think is linked to the supposed EP that is "about" to be released? ?5 points

I know I'm going to get killed for saying this but i actually luv how the last tours were edited. Each song actually felt almost like a music video. I never get bored watching a Madonna Concert. There is so much happening all the time with the way its edited. It has a real cinematic feel to me. I watched Ariana's concert last night on Netflix. It was a more traditional film. I luv her but I got bored4 points -

There was never any actual announcement of that. It’s most likely fans making up stuff based on how long it’s been and how less and less likely for it to be profitable as a release at this point. But it’s happening, according to this post.4 points -

I clearly remember, the same exact memory and it was around the time she went on hashtagging about a mixtape ... so my hopes for a Nakhane collab come back to life!! Anyway it's just a matter of time, 15 days and, if the Superbowl rumour is true, they won't be able to keep the secret sealed anymore3 points

RIGHT? My very first bootleg was of Who's That Girl Tour in Leeds. And I couldn't go to that show, I was just a little kid -- so it was EVERYTHING to me. I learned every song and how she sang them (just like in Leeds) and the rawness of her voice reached me in a way the album versions couldn't. And then Blond Ambition was the same -- she sounded like MADONNA to me -- raw raw raw real vocals. Good and bad. I loved it. Cut to .. Borderline during Sticky & Sweet and I'm like, um .. that's just the album version vocals? Or re-sung? WHY? If I'm not watching the show, her vocals are what I want -- and I want them real. I already own the studio albums. Fuck! I want you to sound real even if you sound like shit one day!!2 points -

I can see that. Here's my thought - the super bright exposure makes it obvious that she's trying to obliterate her face so that no one can tell she's aging. And that bothers me because from Day 1 - her message was about be who you are, age gracefully -- and then she flipped on that and jacked up her face and conceals it like on the MDNA album cover or RB cover.. MDNA Tour cover .. or she does some whack black and white tricks that take me out of the concert, because in real life it's not black and white, so why do that? And then when she tinkers with the audio -- then it doesn't feel like a concert and I want a live concert, wrinkles and bad vocals and all - I want it to be real. Because she was always real to me until she wasn't. Last note: a lot of those FX, like when the dancers disappear into the stage during Jump in Confessions Tour, those tricks get old quick and date the concert. Confessions actually feels dated now in some segments.2 points -

She probably does but she doesn't care because she thinks we'll keep waiting... for her. Just waiting. I think the issue is interest probably would hold amongst everyone, not just die hards if she wasn't plastering her life all over Instagram. Like in the 90s and early 00s if there was a large gap between projects, people would be on the edge of their seats because they didn't know what was happening behind the scenes so there would be a belief that she was spending most of that time working. But now, we see her in milk baths, and with her kids and the boy toy almost every day so it's like, "ok girl we get it, finish this for us and then you go back to living your life. " Also, her last three DVD releases all had a year gap between filming and release but Confessions only had a five month turnaround between filming, editing and releasing. Actually two-three months because NBC aired it during Thanksgiving that same year. They wrapped that show and hit the editing bay. What happened to that speed? Maybe NBC had a say on final edit and she wasn't interested in going back and doing a re- edit?2 points -

She's not checking out, she goes on with her life. What is she supposed to do? Put her life on hold because the US is in turmoil? If we all do that, we wont get a lot done in the coming years. She's an artist and a businesswoman and she is tending to her business. Because she has an album called American Life, she would have to be holding meetings at the Senate? Not everyone has to have an opinion about everything, and not expressing said opinion doesnt mean you agree with or support what's going on. I just dont understand the correlation youre trying to make with Madonna, her travels, and whats going on in the States. Maybe she shouldnt be traveling, but maybe she has to and chooses to take every precaution involved. The woman was one of the first to engage in discourse about safe sex and has lived through another epidemic: AIDS. So im assuming she has an understanding of risk assessment and what it means for her and her loved ones. She also probably isnt taking it likely as she has seen alot of people (her friends) die from not receiving treatment for AIDS related illnesses. Maybe, just maybe, she is making sure it isn't the case this time. She also knows ressources are limited in the countries she is visiting and might be there to see how she can help and how the pandemic is being handled (if I'd invested in Malawi, id want to see for myself how things are managed and how my money is spent). Maybe she shows pictures of herself being tested there to prove to people (who ABSOLUTELY need the proof) that they are providing testing over there and the sick are being taken care of. Instead of assuming the worst, how about we trust.2 points -

I'm a big fan of Human Nature! I've always liked the sassy-ness of this song and how she points out the hypocrisy of the critics. As for Candy Shop, that's a whole different story. I think the lyrics are stupid and I can't believe the same woman who wrote Express Yourself and Bad Girl came up with this crap!2 points -

Cringey Madonna Moments
MADAME SEX reacted to captainjay for a topic
The first one for me was when she was on Letterman in 94 and she was going to read her Top 10 and then wouldn't. She'd clearly prepared it and was ready to do it - and then backed-down, felt she wasn't in control of the situation. I'm not sure she knew if she was "cool" or just being crass and making an ass of herself. The next cringey moment for me was when she was telling the audience at the Bedtime Story Pajama Party to shut up so she could read them the storybook she brought. Why would a group club full of young people want to sit quietly while this old lady read them a story book? It's those little disconnects.. made the whole thing lame. I think Rosie once told Arsenio or someone that Madonna's parties always sucked because she'd want to play word games or some sort of game .. but she'd be serious and everyone else was like, "what?"..1 point -
