I sort of get her anger about the Dark Ballet video. She purposely removed herself from much of the edit for the focus to be on trans black and intersectional struggles and not make it about her. To put more of her in the edit doesn’t just mess with the artistic vision, it alters the focus... and that is not cool. So yeah I’m sort of with her if that’s the issue.

When Beychella was released, Netflix did a huge promotion, probably we'll have a post on social media, followed by a trailer and a date. Beyoncé's doc was not featured on any release list, it was a surprise announcement. Since it's the first Madonna release on Netflix I believe it will have a big promo. Fingers crossed!

It’s unclear to me if is indeed a full dress or simply a sheer lace blouse. Either way it seems that what Madonna wore in the video is the same piece Natashja Kinski wore for a Helmut Newton photo-shoot in 1983

I remember this day so well. I drove over an hour to pick up the CD and then drove home on a back road in the country listening to it. I was in heaven. It’s one of my favorite Madonna albums to this day. What a powerful, moving, beautiful, and fun piece of art in every way. The videos for it brought it home even more so.

My mother was pregnant with me in 1998 so in a certain way I was born with this album, maybe that's why I love so much electronic music ?Apart from Like a Prayer, Ray of Light is likely her sole album my mother listened to. Great choice, anyway.

Also £10 is a LOT for some dusty old remixes. You’d think there’s be a reduced price for the bundle huh? I personally thing £5.99 -7.99 seems pretty much top end price for a remix bundle to be honest. I’m really interested to see what they do with this Fever release. So many mixes over so many formats. Which cover will they use? The UK one or the iconic smoking on the bed cover the promo had. There is a 13 track Promo CD on Discogs from 2001. That doesn’t have edit one. Maybe we’ll get most of the promo mixes on this release and the Bad Girl / Rain releases will mopp up the rest later on. I think the Erotica era remixes are the ones I’m most anxious about. The releases were sooo messy in terms of being jumbled up mix wise. I’d like Fever (edit one) Fever (Peggys mixes - both of) Rain (Video edit) Bad Girl (edit) Bad Girl (extended) Up Down Suite Waiting (Remix) Goodbye To Innocence. (Unlikely) Im confident we’ll get the standard Deeper & Deeper and Bye Bye Baby mixes and that’ll be beaut. I can live without the Radio remixes of Rain but If they’re going begging whack em on. I still wish we’d gotten Human Nature (Human Club Mix) the main mix!!! And the video edit. and Let Down Your Guard was missed. ... but let’s be honest this is great so I’m well happy fan. It feels like 86 with a new single every few weeks again and I’m thrilled her legacy is finally being unveiled.

"The Sun" is reliable in music news in the last few years, music acts use it to start spreading news before making it official (example: the Spice Girls with their 2019 UK stadium tour). The tone of the Madame X Netflix article was unusually positive towards Madonna ("pop legend" etc. etc.), so I guess it's true and even paid promotion from Madonna's camp. We know UK press hasn't been that kind to Madonna in a while. Documentary, full show, whatever... bring it on! I'd say a Netflix deal is the right thing to do now, I'll be very happy if it's true.

Yeah, I get what you mean. That's basically what we were all thinking. But it seems a bit irrational to be so upset about a video that isn't THAT different. Not to mention, most of the time M views her collaborations as just that, a collaboration. So I couldn't see her lashing out at the director when it's equally his work as well. It would also be kind of weird for this rich white woman to be screaming she's being oppressed by her black director collaborator about a video they made about trans oppression. I mean, she's more than welcome to do it I suppose. But the optics aren't really that great. I think something else happened and she just used the video cuz that's what was on her profile when she was scrolling like a teenager, perhaps.

People who think that streaming is better than a physical release. People who think that quality from streaming is better than from a physical release. People who think that is not good to pay for a physical release but it's ok to pay for a streming that adds and deletes titles when they want. People who think streaming is better because they have a title now but four months later they can't watch it because the streaming service has decided to don't have it in their catalogue. CONCLUSION: Better to have a physical release which you will be able to enjoy whenever you want an in the best quality possible.

The truth is, we literally know nothing. We’ll see when the time comes what was included. For now, I’m only hoping we get a release date before the month ends.

I have been a huge Mega fan of Madonna’s since 1982 when her very 1st single “Everybody” came out & I’ve been to 10 of her 11 Tours I only missed her 1st Tour The Virgin Tour 1985 other than that I’ve been to every Tour since (WTG 1987, BAM 1990, TGS 1993, DWT 2001, RIT 2004, Confessions 2006, S&S 2008, MDNA 2012, RHT 2015, MXT 2019) & after seeing every Tour I can say with 100% Confidence the The Madame X Tour is her worst Tour to date. 1st I saw it in Brooklyn NY on 9-24-19 & she was over 2 hrs late & ppl were leaving b4 it started & were angry, @ my tour there were no Tour books available because they said there was a delay so I ended up buying it on her website a few months later & all The prices on the merchandise was outrageous, The setlist was awful. The Opening to the show for “God Control” was a really long opening & “Express Yourself” she only sang portions of the song a capella & Papa Don’t Preach She only performed 1 1/2 vers of the song & when she auctioned off the selfie that she. Doesn’t even take with the highest bidder & she takes with the polaroid camera she was mean to ppl bidding on it. This 1 guy offered her $500 & she made a nasty & snarky comment even though he paid hundreds of $$ to be there & a woman offered her $1,500 & she took it but she said all the $$ was going to a charity so here’s my thing if it’s for a charity why didn’t she take the guys $500 & The woman’s $1,500 & give them both a selfie & have $2,000 for her charity. Also she interacted very little with the audience & when she did she just made fun of ppl for example 1 guy had this beautiful shirt of Madonna made & she saw it & said “What to cheap to buy my shirts, That shirt is ugly” I’m sure he was embarrassed any1 would be & she asked another guy what he did for a living & he said he worked for T-Mobile & she said “Oh so you’re apart of the ppl killing ppl because cell phones kill ppl” yet another person embarrassed I’m sure & you’re going to tell me she doesn’t have several different cell phones? In all 10 Tours I’ve seen she was never this cruel or nasty to the fans & without us she wouldn’t be who she is. I think she forgets that. Also the show just didn’t have that same WOW Factor. Were there amazing moments, Absolutely like When she sang “Human Nature”, “Vogue”, “American Life”, “Frozen”, “Like A Prayer” “Medellin” “Come Alive”. I was just really disappointed by the Madame X Tour & her extremely poor & shitty attitude towards us the fans, The Audience & how much she actually didn’t interact with us even though that was the point of this tour was to be small & intimate & I was so turned off by how late she was & she didn’t care @ all.
