    So if the original version of Vogue is on the japanese promo, then the original planned single of "Keep It Together" would be something like this: [Hidden Content] I love the transition between Keep It Together and Vogue. Works really well...

    Entertainment Weekly is more reliable than The Sun and The Daily Mail. M and Diablo finished the script months ago. It doesn't make sense that she would quit now. If M was so unbearable she would have quit long before they finished. Some fans (not directed at you) always expect the worst and believe everything negative about M. It makes sense that Diablo would begin other projects since they turned in the script to Universal. They might bring on another writer to edit it. M's recent Instagram post with the long hair said "Why do I have to Explain Everything." I think it was directed at the rumors.

    I think it’s weird now that the standard for beauty is not having a SINGLE LINE ON YOUR FACE. For a visual artist like Madonna, no longer being able to read the emotion on her face I think has affected how I connect to her music. I still do. I just think it strange to have not a single crease or mark in one’s face.

    I wonder how I'm Breathless would have performed had 'Vogue' not been the lead single or added to the album? I can't imagine any other song from that album having the same level of success. I think 'Hanky Panky' only got to the top 10 off the back of 'Vogue's success and the Blond Ambition tour being so huge. I agree, it's a very overlooked album.

    Yeah like a Prayer already have some heavyweight numbers in it. Vogue in I'm Breathless was a way to bring attention to a record that wasn't mainstream, and they did well doing the Now I'm following you second part as a warm up to Vogue. I would love a Keep It together, Vogue, Rescue me EP

    I’d love a comprehensive box set of her work with extensive liner notes detailing all these facts like on the Prince box sets where a historian gives information on the recording process, release information etc. We know very little about her work in the studio or how WB handled her releases back then. 808 State have recently started putting their singles on streaming, the same as M but they give some history and back story to each release. I wish M’s team would do this.

    Ok so I went back and checked the info I had. The Japanese promo came out in late Jan - early Feb way before Vogue was released anywhere else. That was supposed to be the final version, that was edited down into the single version to be used as a b-side on the KIT single. Eventually it became a separate single and they used elements from the Bette Davis Dub to change the intro, making it into the final released version.

    this is the quality a theatre tour deserves. delicate color correction + only FEW close ups to a long shot like this and it would be perfect. An artist moving in real time on the stage, and you could see the audience too.

    Also when it’s your work it’s hard to see it the way other people see it. I’m not a huge fan of ROL but Frozen is probably her best and most unusual lead single. So glad they didn’t go with ROL

    To me, the Japan version is the original, unedited version of the song which was then later edited down to the 'Single Version' then after the remixes had been created, the intro was changed and this became the album version, sort of a hybrid of the single version and the Bette Davis dub.

    I'm sorry but the way some grown-up men talk about women's bodies in those terms is disgusting and gross. She's not anybody's bitch. Maybe she's doing it for herself and not you, but of course that's a hard pill to swallow, right? Leave the woman alone. When she was doing all kind of stuff in 2005 and 2006 and it fitted their idea of "beauty", "perfect", whatever, some fans didn't have any problem with it. She can't win, really.
