  1. You guys are so lucky... Janet is also celebrating her 40th Anniversary next year and we don't even have her music videos unblocked Worldwide on Youtube! Bitch owns her masters but what for since she's not using them?!

  2. Personally I am only really interested in unreleased stuff... I'm not the least interested in vinyl releases of old stuff..or remastered CDs... nothing wrong with that... but I really do not have the space for more of the same records... so if we will only get remastered stuff... I will stream.

  4. But then the standard method most artists do with these expanded albums is indeed to include Demos, Early Versions, Unheard Live Recordings and Remixes. That's exactly what expanded albums generally include. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. I would love NOTHING more than remastered albums and severely expanded editions with every demo we’ve ever heard of and more…. But this is Madonna. We feast on scraps but maybe that’s because they have been holding back for so long purely to hit us hard with super super deluxe editions. I just don’t think there is that much for the first four albums that most of us are keenest to have unearthed. Premadonna demos will not form part of this deal. Warner doesn’t own them and they were never part of their ouvre. Happy to be surprised and love the excitement but trying to keep my expectations realistic. What will be interesting to see is the panic between private traders over the next couple of years or so. Trades will be going off left right and centre right now and there will be a lot of people who’ve both made and spent a lot of money on this black market and had the luxury of 40 years to do so with one of the worlds biggest and most prolific artists who has given them a clear market by issuing zero special editions. We’ll no doubt see a spate of spite & notoriety leaks, both information wise and probably unheard tracks too. I just hope after so many years of being able to take advantage of the situation they don’t try and beat M to the punch and let us enjoy the expanded editions and don’t spoil the surprises.

  7. I don't know if it's Ricardo Gomez who gives her advices in clothes, hair and make-up lately but she looks way, way better for a couple of months. Even her face is less swollen from fillers. Someone must be giving her good styling advices lately. She served us stunning looks for a few months, it's a real upscale from the previous years. Even the pictures he takes of her looks refreshing, she's wearing colors, looks youthfull... if you look at her instagram. now and compare it to 2019 or 2020 it makes such a difference. In the past it looked bad amateurish, with bad selfies and Madonna almost never wearing make up and dressed very badly. Lately her instagram looks like the account of the quern of pop that she is. I say Ricardo has a very good influence on her style and image wise. Even if he was around in the past i feel like he is now maybe more confident to tell her what looks bad and what looks good on her, since he kinda became her official daily photographer. Something changed and for the good !

  8. If a small rock band like Garbage can remaster and re-release their 3rd studio album, originally released in 2001 with b sides, demos and remixes (including both commercially released and rare ones that collectors don't even know about) like they've done for their previous two albums (the 1995 debut and 1998's follow up Version 2.0), there's no reason M can't do something similar https://music.apple.com/us/album/beautifulgarbage-20th-anniversary-deluxe/1580427316

  9. I find it funny that Madonna hasn't been an actress for 20 years and yet people still bringing it up when they need a headline... guess there's nothing else bad to say about her, huh?

  10. Ricardo is just a photographer. She has actual stylists. I reckon she never cared about having "the perfect instagram" and kinda though of it as her own space to express herself. But now she has been using it in a more "professional" way and has put more effort in the way she presents herself. This isn't Madonna finally finding a sense of style, she is just putting the same effort in her instagram that she used to put in fashion photoshoot. I think it has something to do with her biopic and Warner partnership, they're giving her a fresh new image.

  11. https://www.madonna.com/news/title/madonna-and-warner-music-group-announce-milestone--career-spanning-partnership “2022 will mark the 40th anniversary of Madonna’s recording debut. This new deal heralds the launch next year of an extensive, multi-year series of catalog releases that will revisit the groundbreaking music that made her an international icon. For the first time, Madonna will personally curate expansive deluxe editions for many of her landmark albums, as well as introduce unique releases for special events, and much more. The series of releases will be overseen by Warner Music’s catalog team, led by Kevin Gore, President of Global Catalog, Recorded Music, with the first release to be announced soon.“ THE GAYS FUCKING WON. 13. Some of you mentioned that Kevin Gore will be in charge of the reissue program, and hope for box sets like the ones with David Bowie. No thank you! I would very much prefer a reissue program similar to Led Zeppelin, that also was done by Mr Gore. The SDEs of the three first albums were released at the same time, and Led-heads across the world cried with happiness. And the boxes are beautiful. Nine boxes were released in 13 months. A MASSIVE and successful project. Deluxe box sets still sell. Just look at the ones with Springsteen, Prince and Beatles. Thay sell like hotcakes! 1999 sold out SO FAST! (the multidisc editions) With so many outtakes and remixes, Madonna could easily do the same thing. Even a SDE of You Can Dance would sell. Just put all dubs, edits and unmixed versions in the box and BOOM, we'd buy it.

  15. Whoever is influencing her... Thank you. She has never looked so beautiful, stylish, fresh and colorful in years! I'm living for all the photoshoots she's serving on her insta, (the last one in Puglia might be my absolute fave)!

  16. Hey, so as many of you may know, the Rebel Heart Tour is one of my favourite tours M has ever put together and today I sat down in honour of our queen's Birthday to take on yet another attempt at creating a tweaked (or even better) version of the IEM soundboard from Tokyo. I started off with the Rockabilly section because why not. It is based on the 'without speech'-edit. I only changed what I personally didn't like about it, so, if anyone wants to make suggestions, I'm open to them. I know that it's not perfect but my aim is to create an 'accurate' version of the tour one day, so maybe some of you prefer the official release and some will stick to the fanmade stuff. I do realize that the second night from Tokyo may be better vocally (a fact that I will reconsider when tweaking 'Burning Up') but the overall quality of the first night is far superior. [Hidden Content] Edits made include: fixed timing at the beginning of Body Shop No interrupting by answering the cue at the start of True Blue No random 'what?' during the first verse of True Blue No (weird) Japanese phrases at the end No shoutout to """Stanley""" during the start of Deeper & Deeper (my brain just couldn't process why she would do that, anyway) — I always hated it!! Enhanced guitar solo after the breakdown Fixed vocal when she loses her voice/gets tired and whispers 'more than I know' Boosted vocals during some parts throughout the whole thing HBC & LAV are going to stay untouched because there are no weird mishaps to my knowledge but as I said, I'm open to suggestions. Thanks for checking out my edit!

  17. I agree! Garbage gave the same treatment to their first two albums as well. I’m not sure I would call them small though. They were huge in the 90’s.

  20. She never looked more updated than now! She looks young! has beautiful hair, instead of the short, usual shirley temple curls she used to wear for 30 years. Her face looks better now and her clothes are flattering.

  21. She's been notorious for being a grade A asshole when it comes to her career. The fact she's speaking ill of the ALOTO production, Madonna, the cast and Penny Marshall says more about her than anything. Her career was tanking because of how she was rude, dismissive and burning bridges left and right in Hollywood. The fact she cashed out and remains bitter because of Madonna's part and insinuating the women didn't train hard enough, like okay ma'am. This is a Wendy's, we don't have that here. She's been horrible for a very long time. She butted heads infamously with Shirley on Terms of Endearment, Richard Gere and numerous other people. Even in interviews, she is standoffish and rude for the sake of it. See Andy Cohen's show where (he's a fool himself) is rude for no reason and acts above him and the entire premise of his show. Then why go on there? And her reaction to this fan. Great actress, horrible person.

  27. I see you guys postilng about TELL ME, but to me a Madonna solo version does not exist. It's not a Madonna composition like Each Time, it's not from a Madonna record project. It's not from the True Blue era (they recorded the vocals for its release in 1988) ad it's not from the Like A Prayer sessions. She only courtesy did the background vocals for Nick (to double the success of Each Time): it's a "Scheherazade-ish" thing. I'd love to hear "Work Your Fingers To The Bone" from that era (Bray - Jellybean final version).

  28. Yes this is true. After Pepsi dropped out of Sponsoring her Blond Ambition Tour, Pioneer sponsored it and as part of that deal Pioneer would release a Laserdisc ONLY of the Tour. Madonna & WB could not release a competing home video format for 1 year after the Laserdisc had been out. Truth Or Dare was so big in terms of success it was the highest grossing documentary of all time before Michael Moore's Bowling For Columbine. I guess they just forgot about the Concert part or thought people don't care. ?‍♂️ Sometimes being a Madonna fan can be very frustrating.??

  29. Pretty sure Warner Music Japan released Yokohama. Nice isn't owned in purpetuity by Pioneer. Pretty sure it was a exclusive distribution deal with M and WB agreeing not to release a competing VHS release of the concert during the time of the deal. In other words Pioneer probably never actually owned BAT Nice

  30. Why is everyone saying she won’t include unreleased/demos… we’ve seen her jamming to demos from prefame on her instagram for months now as she dives into her history for her biopic. This is obviously a Madonna who is embracing her past artistry and unreleased content. Also they used the word “expansive” no way would that word be used on old remixes we’ve had forever

  31. I personally think the LAP, and TB anniversary editions (which do leave a lot to be desired) are just the record company doing market research. The singles are already being rolled out to streaming services, as well as the promotion of HD upgrades of the videos on her YouTube site. I agree that there’s a huge amount of mythology surrounding Madonna’s unused songs, but we have also had many songs confirmed that were talked about for years and years when all the leaks started happening. For me, there’s an excitement for having actual “Madonna approved” releases, even if it had been leaked before. The press announcement, especially from Guy Oseary about listening to the fans, makes me hope that Madonna and her team will also take the care and consideration to make these truly worth the deluxe edition prices, and make it worthwhile to the fans. Slinging remixes onto the the end of an album isn’t really a worthy use of a huge press release, and there are many other lesser artists (sorry Prince and Depeche Mode!!) that have had amazing deluxe reissues, frankly without the importance. IMO. I wouldn’t doubt the amount of red tape involved in a deal of this kind. Pat Leonard already sold the rights to his portion of the recordings. And he suddenly halted the release of his own new interpretations of his songs with Madonna. We know Nile Rodgers will get royalties from both “Madonna” and “Like A Virgin”, per his contract to produce LAV, so I’m sure this wasn’t an easy deal to seal. Which is why LDLHA was cut from the RHT release. As well as LS from the medley. It’s the art and commerce dilemma. I'm most likely wrong, but artists like Madonna, Prince, MJ, David Bowie, etc. etc are why publishing right are so valuable. It’s collateral for the holder of the copyrights, and especially in MJ’s case, why he was able to float his finances for years without actually recording new material, because he owned everyone else song rights! Or Beyoncé requiring songwriting and publishing credit for songs she didn’t write. The business is complicated, and I’m grateful that Madonna continued to be an artist and create music and live productions rather than retreat for years like MJ or Kate Bush, or Prince for that matter. Madonna has remained relevant because she is. Additionally, we have no idea what terms her contract with LN or Interscope were beyond the public record. It’s quite possible she wasn’t “allowed” to damage their brands because it would also damage her own. She’s wishing death to the patriarchy for a reason.

  35. I was searching for it today but is not even listed! At least not on the Brazilian catalog. I love Gambler... It's better than the entirety of 'Like A Virgin' album by the way... I remember praying SO HARD to all the Gods for she to add it on a tour... It would've it perfectly on the first MDNA Tour section! Gambler instead of Papa Don't Preach, followed by Die Another Day instead of that awful Hung Up remix.

  37. Please. "Madonna", "Like A Virgin" and "True Blue" on their iTunes/Apple Music and Spotify editions are awful. "Madonna": 2001 remastered versions combined the original masters and 12'' mixes and edits. Massive volume changes between tracks. Wrong versions: "Borderline" is the 12'' Extended Version, not the Album Version, "Holiday" is an edit of the Q-Sound mix, not the Album Version. "Everybody" is the Extended Version but that was changed on the 2001 reissue. "Like A Virgin": "Dress You Up" on Spotify was the Extended version until recently. On iTunes, the volume is very, very low on this album. "True Blue": it was the 2001 remaster until recently, when the 35th edition was released all the 11 tracks on the regular album were updated from that one too. Warner has Hi-Res versions of those three albums (and "Who's That Girl"), which means they could easily have Apple Digital Masters on iTunes and Apple Music if they wanted to: https://www.qobuz.com/es-es/album/madonna-hi-res-version-madonna/0093624951179 https://www.qobuz.com/es-es/album/like-a-virgin-hi-res-version-madonna/0093624951117 https://www.qobuz.com/es-es/album/true-blue-hi-res-version-madonna/0093624951124 At least the correct albums as they were released would be nice. Even "Like A Prayer" has a glitch at the start of "Pray For Spanish Eyes".

  38. Probably, I also remember someone here updating her streaming numbers and putting almost the same exact songs in her top50 (otherwise songs like Faz Gostoso and Get Together wouldn't be there)

  39. Wasn’t there a rumour (nearly a fact, according to insiders/hackers) about Price remastering all of her stuff with Warner in DVDA format around 2003? Makes me wonder if those sonically improved versions of LAP (7’’ Mix and promo dubs) and True Blue (Remix Edit) are actually part of his work!
