It seems like Madonna did a bunch of visual projects this year that haven’t been released yet. I’m wondering what all these things are for. A new release, MXT promo, something else? I compiled a timeline of everything. May 12. Video/Photo shoot in LA. August 24. Photoshoot at Milk Studios in Brooklyn with Ricardo Gomes. Rumored for Rolling Stone magazine September 9. Madonna posts on Instagram photos from a fitting with the Bob Mackie dress worn at the 1991 Academy Awards.

Maybe they're planning on doing a 'then and now' element by recreating some of the photos from the original shoots for the expanded editions? Phil Collins did something like that for the reissues of his albums.

Maybe Madonna is shooting all of this stuff for promotion and art for the expanded editions, etc.???? Maybe. It does seem like a lot of effort and resource for funsies.

Looking forward to her new release, I'm reminiscing about what great moments M has given us as she wowed the audience with her amazing stage presence. I was watching the performance of Ghosttown in Brooklyn (she hasn't performed the song before on the tour, so it was a premiere for her and the artists on stage as well) and I was moved to tears. The atmosphere was so lit and everyone was pouring their hearts out sining along with her. You can tell that people were not only witnessing, they felt this amazing, yet so simple rendition of the song. I also feel like the performers on stage (especially Monte) were having a blast, too. Now, I wanna collect those wonderful moments so that we can all remember what a great time we had standing in the crowd. I attended the MDNAT in Vienna on July 29th 2012 and I remember that night so distinctly but I don't wanna leave half a book for you to read, so long story short: I cried three times. Once when I ran in like a maniac realizing HOW COLSE to the stage I was getting (about 1.5 metres), once during (or almost throughout) Like A Virgin bc it was so beautiful and it was otherwordly to me, the third time during Like a Prayer because I was so moved and I can't even explain why.

I’d find that rather strange. Each expanded edition has a wealth of imagery already that’s on theme with each album. But she’s definitely preparing something rather important. This all reminds me of the MX teasers she kept posting in January/February 2018.

Whatever anyone says it’s a fact that the entire show has been shot on film. The question is if the entire show was EDITED. And most likely it was not. I think that’s where the confusion in these claims stems from. There’s footage for everything exists but just certain parts are properly edited. Unfortunately, going back and re-editing the whole thing doesn’t seem like a viable project. Especially since the film reels (if they exist) might be partially damaged or incomplete. It would be amazing if Warner would really engage with the fans and get feedback on what releases are most wanted

To be honest, I’d be bummed if it was cut. It was limited audience, small venues… how can we appreciate such a thing as fans (myself who was not able to attend). Has to be full.
