I was only pointing out that, despite all the detestable things she does according to many, the last interview was absolutely not one of these things and is actually the best interview she had in years, as she was herself, humorous, not taking things too seriously or acting bitchy, and she wasn't trying hard or else, that's it. I think it's obvious something happened after her Guy Ritchie divorce...and it's not getting better as she ages. Madonna is devolving to the point her appearance last week reminded me of her Letterman from 1994...only 30 years later. It's also the first time i was legit scared for her face. I don't think anyone is denying that. I also think she's honestly addicted to some sort of pills as she said on Fallon. It's obvious she wasn't 100% herself. The days of Madonna working out, on a microbiotic diet, all healthy, etc...those days are long gone. As a friend of mine told me a few days ago "i don't think she's going to live to witness her 70th birthday at this point". But don't say that in here cause people will laugh at you and say everything is amazing, lmao.

Human Nature — a song I love but wasn’t overly enthused about being on the track list really was killer on this tour. Best version. Ever. American Life also REALLY worked with Madame X. the Vogue / I Don’t Search I Find section was fantastic. honestly? I could go on and on. It all just works.

I know she's been singing Human Nature for ages now but this version is so good, it gets better with every listen! I also love the typewriter part in I Don't Search I Find. All the fado section is beautiful. Frozen rendition is perfect. Future is amazing, loved the new verse. It's a shame the live album was chopped and edited a little bit messy. The audio treatment for this tour was great!

Because that’s one of the reasons why she’s been so successful. Because people knew whenever she did something they would get flawlessly entertained. Yes, she had bad vocals before but every performance of her was a true extravaganza. if you strip it back like this – and I love that she finally dares to do that – you need to make sure that what is left is great. And she’s well aware of the fact that her live singing is often not good enough. That’s why she uses autotune, has loud album vocals playing along, that’s why she replaced her live vocals with newly recorded vocals when she releases something – from a dvd up to a performance that was aired in TV a few days before with horrible vocals. She is a singer and she has a good voice. It’s nothing out of reach for her to train her vocals and sound great, especially not if she’s standing on a bar rather than doing BAT-like dance routines. She just needs to bother.

I agree. Everything was done so well. I think it actually works better in this format rather than live. (at least the New York shows before she ironed everything out) TBH I didn't see the continuity in the show when I saw it live. The polaroid section seemed so random to me live, but after seeing the film I see it's tied into the IDSIF scene with them taking photos of her. Also, her tacking on "I'm Madame X" to the end of Vogue and American Life just seemed lazy at the time. Now I see it as the one big art piece and everything just makes sense now. I also see how Crave would have felt out of place, so its probably for the best they cut it. It's also so touching how personal this show is. She shows her love for Malik all over the place, IDSIF basically feels like a declaration of love for him. And how cool is that. To dance and sing about your lover WITH THEM. Her children are all in it, except Rocco. Come Alive feels like she brought us to her birthday party. This truly feels like her, who she is. and I come away with a new respect for Madame X, the album.
