Just because you personally don't use them doesn't mean million of adults around the world don't either. If you're not a child don't think like one. You can not use them but acknowledge how powerful they are today. The concept of a #challenge in social media is basically to make some kind of action (usually an easy one) and upload it with a hashtag (#). The #frozenchallenge is just uploading a video with the remix on it. When a song is used on these kind of stuff usually that boosts its performance and reach, like it's happening with "Frozen" lately. That's why Madonna's team is trying to capitalize on this. To sum up: all of this is good for Madonna.

It's definitely not a terrible album in the slightest. It's a pretty good album in the grand scheme of things. Obviously it's gonna look bad if you compare it to like a prayer, but that's not fair. Compared to albums by Britney, Katy Perry etc? Definitely not bad. I really enjoys it even though I can see its flaws.

Nah, I don't think so. I think simply it didn't get to her or Warners until now (we're super fans and knew about it a couple of weeks ago!). At least they're taking action and trying to capitalize on it now. The #frozenchallenge is not perfect (what is that Pea platform?) but it's something. I like that her new press team seem to be aware of trends and how to act when something's happening.

I see a lot of people on twitter angry about the various versions on spotify. I think we should create a campaign mentioning Warner to unify the versions. frozen is going viral even more on tiktok and isn't targeting madonna either. is very amateur.

Maybe, they have bought it, or copywrited it, or whatever they do, and are going to release it officially, themselves.

The fact that Madonna's team acted to get rid of the remix and then exploit it, is encouraging news for me. It shows already that Warner is handling things with a more aggressive approach than Interscope and her team is becoming less incompetent. I feel like lockdown really destroyed Madonna's usual relentless energy and made her very bored, creative and ambitious people tend to go off the rails a bit when bored. It seems to me she has been getting her work ethic back on track lately and im really excited for all these future projects.

We should do something correct for once, and stream Frozen (remixes included) for some days, not only on this forum... but spread the word everywhere, on another forums and with other fans. PD: On the single, the album version and the radio edit are merged with the Ray Of Light album and GHV2 ones, so not bad at all.

While I agree…. if those mistakes lead you to lose custody of your kids that can make you spiral into deep depression and harmful thoughts. It becomes a vicious circle. when the “real” you kicks in again… you think “what have I done?” Anyone can see from many of her posts and her testimonies that Brit comes across as pretty manic. … as a result of the treatment or she’s been treated because of these behaviours. As people on the outside we can only speculate. I know my family member is the sweetest most wonderful person …but when that side of them kicks in they will tell the worst kind of lies about their parents about how controlling they are and how they’re trying to rule their life. When I’m truth they’re trying to save them from themselves. Like I said it’s individual to each cash and it’s extremely complicated. Conservatorships are scary. You essentially hand your life over to someone…. But would you have a life to hand over if they weren’t in place. I suppose a large part of the conversation is “it’s britneys life to live, take or waste.. she should be allowed to do what she wants” Is it a determined parents love to keep their child alive despite damage to thier own reputation or is it coercive control? Work can be stabilising and goal focused events can keep people in this condition stable, also having children can seriously imbalance the hormones on your body so that you have more episodes and can be degenerative to your state of mind. Like I said it’s a minefield.

it's really dated and stale. even when it came out in 2008 it was already dated, the sound is very 06/07 and everyone else had already moved on from it. the only songs I listen to from it are Give it to me and Miles Away but only the remixes. it's a hard one for me to decide my least favourite album. it's a toss up between HC, MDNA, RH and MX. but I did listen to HC, MDNA and RH a lot when they came out but it's been years since I've listened to any of them except a song or two from each I have on playlists. and Madame X I just stopped listening it after a couple of weeks, so I guess that's my least favourite album.

What I don't understand is why they don't reupload the remix with Madonna credits on it and take advantage of this viral version. She will take a lot of benefit from it with no effort at all!

I'm still saying that we should stream the official single on Spotify (I'm doing it right now), for helping a little... It's not good that we have 300 pages of her ass and lips, and when it comes to organise for things like that, nobody is here. That's why other untalented artists have more power nowadays, because of their fanbases.

Maybe instead of suing the kid ass for copyright infringement , they gave him some cash and told him they retain the distribution and usage of the mix while he can get royalties.

I think the fans expect every successful part of her career to be covered, which would make this movie just an endless sequence of music videos and concert performances. And on top of that she would have to squeeze in the pre-fame years and all the personal relationships (family, kids, friends, lovers). This is impossible without a major MAJOR cleanup leaving just the most fundamental career highlights (and even then some major eras are bound to be neglected) and the most important personal moments. This would work much better as a TV series. What's interesting is that there have been some amazing biographical movies that focus just on a specific brief moment in somebody's life and tell the whole story through that angle. For example "A Weekend with Marilyn" and the most recent Diana movie "Spencer". I don't think Madonna will take that route, but it would have been very interesting to just focus on the pre-fame days with some flash forwards to the most spectacular career highlights and controversies, as a way to show the stark contrast between the two worlds, and at the same time connect the different eras and show both progress and setbacks. What worries me the most is that every successful biography has to show the main character as a multidimensional character with all their flaws and negative sides. I'm just not sure if Madonna will do that, portray herself in negative light at some points in her life? I am not sure if she can objectively portray herself as a fully developed character, and not just constantly praise herself in a "me against the world" tale. I'd love to see a movie portraying just a small part of her life, focusing on full character development.

Yeah, but as I said, maybe she needs some PR adjustments on her public image and a more commercial approach in order to connect with the public again. Idk, music industry is so volatile…

It all depends how big of a hit you are talking about? she had a song from MDNA chart in the top ten and that was with pathetic promotion from Interscope. I think that after such an experimental album as Madame X, a return to something more pop/dance will be more easily digested by the mainstream. It does not really matter who she collaborates with as long as they are popular and the song is really good. Keep in mind that Warner is going to be doing a much better job with PR and Promotion than Interscope because that contract was more based off touring. In the meantime, she needs to work on reinforcing her legacy in the public eye and I think the biopic and reissues are a good way to do that. Even if she does not have another number one, Madonna has nothing to prove at this point, the fact that she is still alive, creating and has outlasted all her contemporary super stars is an incredible achievement itself.

Hard Candy really is a terrible album which is ironic, seeing as I think it's the album that has been at number one in the most countries.

I was curious about the Frozen Remix this morning so I went on Spotify and the version that went viral has vanished. It appears Madonna has removed it.

The major period off her success 84- 89 will most likely be a 10 minute segment or Like A Virgin MTV, Material Girl video meeting Sean and then a flash montage until the Like A Prayer album all set to Causing A Commotion. Virgin Tour, Who's That Girl Tour and album, True Blue and Like A Virgin album will all be flash sequence. I really can't see Madonna focusing too much on her commercial successes or critical acclaim moments on this tour. She's never seemed too interested in the bits people praised or understood. She'll focus on the personal moments, challenges, the things people misunderstood, the controversies and her motivations. Her successes will almost appear as footnotes. Vogue, Evita and Ray Of Light might be a the exceptions. If they go to Confessions they have to mention Guy. I don't know if Madonna will be comfortable replaying stuff about Roccos dad as their relationship has been fraught over the years.She might not wish to upset her son. She seems on good terms with Sean so I can't see too much about that. I think she'll focus on the relationships we don't know too much about, Tupac, Basquiat, Tony Ward, Andy Bird, Dennis Rodman. Maybe Beaty.

I can't see her leaving out the kids. And if she includes the kids she most definitely will include Africa, the adoptions, and the Hospital and School she's built. That in itself is gonna be like 1/3 of the movie and probably what she will express as her greatest achievement, IMHO.

If she does another big tour to support her movie, I want to see it being a greatest hits type of a thing with spectacular visuals. She can call it the Legacy Tour. Just think about how many records she could break with a world tour like that, it would be a huge success. This biopic, reissues and really big tour would be the perfect way to solidify her legacy in the public eye. Once she does that, I think that she can do whatever she wants in terms of super experimental stuff if she wants, I would really like to see one more big pop album from her though.

But the "original" song on Spotify, released on August 30 this year, is now almost 3 million streams (so there's going to be money from this) and doesn't have her, Orbit or Leonard credited, so that's fishy: I guess it will be taken down soon, if Warner or everyone is aware of this.

I totally agree with you Madonna needs to be credited for her song. If Frozen remix is going viral, people will find their way to the original which can mean a big boost for Madonna's streaming. This is an opportunity to boost her on Spotify.

They are slowly linking them as they did with True Blue 35 - I imagine a tidy up and linking songs will happen as part of the back catalogue reissues - nobody was really looking after her catalogue well on streaming and digital platforms and the new deal means it will be addressed - also things like having correct versions on the albums etc
