    She finally made her first official content especially for TikTok and i have no words... Suddendly, out of nowhere, she makes a stunning short video like an alternative version of the Frozen video and she looks absolutely stunning. The dress, the choregraphy, her hair and make up... Now this is stunning. I am more than confident she came come back stronger than ever when seeing something like that... Making content for TikTok is a genius move promotion wise.

    There really is a controversy about the suicide pics ? My god, the world is burning, fascists are taking over everywhere but (some) people are offended by this ? I absolutely despise our time, so PC, so Disneyified. Sometimes i would just like to poop in my hand and spread it all over people's faces just to piss them off so i get why Madonna does it so often especially now. They deserve to be shocked again and again because they put their energy in the wrong battles.

    Jesus H, what an unhinged rant. I have no idea why such vitriol is being thrown towards me and other fans for opposing opinions, but this is just unacceptable and immature. I don't know what makes my opinions "BS", nor am I questioning your taste and preventing you from enjoying what you like in any way. But I don't know why I, nor other fans, can't be granted that mutual respect. I'm leaving this forum now -- I'm not putting up with an environment where these sorts of posts and personal attacks are tolerated. Well done, @hankypanky2021, you've got what you've wanted and I hope you find some peace and perspective.     You don't need to be an expert to realize how bad this shoot is. Blurry picutres taken with an iphone with picutres taken with a real camera, bad photoshop etc. But yeah, whatever.

    well they can stay frustrated by her and stay pressed or whatever ..she does not owe them anything ..she is also 63 so her being on top if you mean having a hit single are way behind her unless she duets with somebody like ariana on a proper single ( not a remix) shes always been insecure with how she looks and camera angles etc etc lol . ..shes been wanted to be shot from a certain angle etc etc for decades ..maybe its because her fans will rip her to pieces for having gained weight etc etc ..give her a fucking break - she is not the madonna you fell in love with or admired she has aged and changed - we all change - im all for opinions on her work but some people on this forum are just plain nasty and cruel - she has evolved into what she believes is a revolutionary , a freedom fighter - she prob finds the term pop star as a insult lol ...go listen to another artist if she is making you frustrated and leave us real fans alone with your BS opinions because its totally depressing , i swear i could not enjoy the madame x film fully because so called fans were bitching about it and then i thought who gives a f what they think - I LIKE IT INFACT I LOVE IT - IT WAS A BRILLIANT SHOW AND A WORK OF ART - i dont think her over editing her pics is just pure vanity i think its because she knows it pisses people off and this includes her fans , her fans hate the grills but she still wears them ..i understand why she is doing what she does with her pics and tbh its really pointing out the total hypocrites who judge her for touching up a pic but used a filtered pic themselves lol ...god ive been dying to rant like this since i joined this forum and im glad i got it off my chest ...maybe i should just block all the negative people on this forum infact ill start with YOU

    Le'ts get real, this photoshoot minus the ass cover and the blurry video one is hoorible. It doesn't make sense, it's all over the place and her face looks even bigger than in real life. Also that Cocoon style cover in LQ is a disgrace for someone like Klein. This is not about how much photoshop they used, it's about how badley they used it. I blame Gomez for this new obsession of looking like a fucking plastic doll.

    Hear hear. Purple Rain was testing the waters, and then BAM! We got those wonderful boxes of 1999 and SOTT, FILLED with all sorts of stuff. I really hope Madonna and her team will give us similar boxes, or this queen will be wailing!

    It would be an absolute dream if Madonna's team could release something more like what the Prince estate is doing with his albums. Those deluxe editions of Purple Rain and 1999 are incredible in terms of new material, presentation and a live concert DVD. I liked the True Blue remaster sound quality but it was too bare bones for me overall.

    I think the whole reason why this Warner Deal has been done. So we can get anniversary releases like that. And yes she can do all that for every album. It’s not like she’s the one doing any of the work

    I did read the blurb but I really fail to see the over-Photoshopping as deliberate or the artistic direction of the shoot -- indeed, I would have loved that. But it's simply consistent with, well, how Madonna presents herself to the world these days, whether it be her entire Instagram, telling the VMAs not to shoot her close up, oversaturating the Madame X films, etc. I also don't see the connection with Marilyn, it's more like Mae West.

    Well, a ton of fans are frustrated by her as of late and are allowed to express that here. A forum is a discussion outlet. It's not like blindly defending each and every single move of her makes someone a "better" fan. She doesn't know who a single one of us is. There's a reason these forums have much less activity than a decade ago. The smaller group left here is clearly a devoted base, but even amongst us, we're getting cynical about some of her decisions in the last few years. We all want to see her at the top again and be the pop star we fell in love with, but some of us, myself included, are recognizing less and less of the Madonna we fell in love with in the woman we see today. The woman who "doesn't care what others think" makes herself virtually unrecognizable in pictures she's so obviously insecure with how she looks. It's an extreme contradiction to the values she stood for in the past and that we all celebrated. That doesn't mean we need to hang it up and be a fan of someone else, nor does it mean that we need to reassert our fandom through blind affirmations of her Queendom. One can be a fan, appreciate some of her work today (e.g. the Madame X album), and still sorely miss fundamental aspects of Madonna that have seemed to disappear over the years.

    I dont like all this bullshit about one fanbase being better than another based on dedication. Just because a fan base talks a bunch of crap does not mean they are more dedicated. Britney Spears fans do a hell of a lot more lip service than actually supporting her releases these days. I will be the first to admit that the constant bitching in the Madonna community can get old but atleast we are a diverse group with different opinions that actually supports her work physically, even though I do think some of the older fans need to get with the times and start streaming her stuff if we wanna see her chart again. It would be such a drag to be a part of a toxic cult like the BTS Army for example, in general the Madonna community is great because it tends to be a pretty intelligent group.

    Living For Love, Rebel Heart Tour - the opening procession up the runway towards the main stage, right up to “I let down my guard”, when the cape comes off. I saw both shows at the O2 in London. On both nights the crowd went insane when that damn cape finally disrobed without incident!

    What does deluxe even mean anyway? Look at the bare bones release for True Blue 35th anniversary compared to Alanis' Jagged Little Pill 20th anniversary - for the latter we got the full album, a disc with demos, JLP's songs reworked as acoustic versions, an unreleased concert from the era along with a retrospective essay from Alanis and the producers detailing the creative process. Do we think M will seriously do all that for her albums?

    Yeah such a vocal mess Anyway I'm obsessed by this version of Dark Ballet, I think that if she would have released this jazzy sung version of the Joan of Arc words, this song could have been perfect, among her best ones. I'm so in love, my hopes are all for a demo recording and a future leak of it (even if at this point hoping to hear demos and unreleased seems almost impossible).

    I don't know if you already shared this, but it's good and yes!! We finally have a proper full version of the Dark Ballet performance I was waiting for. I'd like so much to have an edit like this of the full thing, the arrangements of Dark Ballet, Sodade and La Isla Bonita were beautiful and the idea of taking Like a Prayer on the street was cool and unexpected (even if I have to admit that her vocals in Crazy and La Isla are both tough esperiences )

    This guy is definitely a troll and should be banned from here. That being said I don't particularly like the word 'army' either. It gives off a 'brainless' vibe I'm not into. I've supported Madonna for 19 now which is a long time considering I'm 26 going on 27. Have I reviewed anything from her terribly low? Hell yeah. Do I think it was UNNECESSARY of her to touch SO MUCH of her face? Yea, sure. Have I ever called her anything derogatory or sexist or ageist? Not even in my dreams. That is what makes me a fan. I grew up gravitating towards her figure; she was omnipresent, literally everywhere. Both from catholic households, both lost the mothers at very young ages and both of us are artists and rebels our own ways and scenarios. A fan is someone who cherishes your figure, appreciates the value of your work.

    Being referential to her past (which is indeed splendid and glorious) doesn’t mean she’s obsessed with her past and not a forward or future thinking artist. She truly is in uncharted territory as far as pop stars go. With the exception of possibly Tina Turner or Cher, but they also had already embraced the “heritage act” label well before their 40yr career mark. The entire Madame X persona, album, and tour are very referential to her past, but she didn’t pander to the audience to make it wholly familiar or comfortable, which would’ve been much easier (and probably terribly boring) for her as an artist. Madame X is not my favorite album, and not my favorite tour, but it is full of messages that are both current and forward thinking. As I stated earlier, MXT was, to me at least, reminiscent of BAT in the turning of the pop star concert tour into something theatrical and new and different than what anyone had really seen before in an arena or stadium. MXT was in the same vein, except it brought the arena show into the theatre. in my opinion they are bookends. Reusing the speech may work as a gimmick, but I doubt that was the intention. But I won’t know until Oct 8th.

    The Like A Prayer album shading while giving praise to MDNA and Hard Candy is giving me big “I’m not like other gays” energy. I cannot. Some of you cigs literally cannot leave the disco for 45 minutes and it shows. Madonna bears her entire soul for the first time on record and explores different musical styles outside of synths and it’s not special? It literally rebirths here career after Who’s That Girl was her first major flop and her sound started to repeat and sound tired. Someone been fuckin with the Kool-aid Wendy.
