So many people making assumptions about Frozen, a new album, re-recorded tracks but no-one will say where their info came from. She is in the studio, OK, the rest is pure speculation. Rebel Heart is criminally underrated, I adore the title track, Ghost Town and Joan of Arc. I understand it has patchy parts but it is still a pretty fantastic album overall.

And even Madonna's career has always been influenced by "black music" as you call it, since day one. Her first album, then Like a Virgin, Like a Prayer's first single has literally a gospel choir. Voguing is a part of black culture did you know? Erotica and Bedtime Stories were also hugely influenced by new jack swing, r&b, etc... Again, up until Ray of Light came out almost all of Madonna's music had been influenced by "black music". She took a break for Ray of Light, Music and American Life...but even Confessions and its disco vibe has a lot to do with black artists from the 70's. I loved it. Still love it. I know its a fandom fave. But I remember a lot of people saying it was very "adult contemporary" and not being as thrilled as the rest of us. *shrugs* It's always something.... LOVE the "Sex" demo. There is a playful groovy vibe that is lost on the album version for me. "Unapologetic Bitch" would probably smash right now. It's the perfect soundtrack for her current Louise Lepore era. I could go on about Demo Heart forever.

First post here. Frozen is one of my all-time favourites, the Sickick version is obviously not exactly as marvellous but I like it a lot. She also seems to have a good chemistry with Swae Lee, so I hope this turns out great. Just no autotune please or at least not all over any new vocals, I love her voice the way it is.

I don't think she is doing this for the fans but to generate interest from kids who like this sort of sound and heard it on tik tok Dreaming of her releasing a joyful uptempo new house/dance track with no featured artists, no autotune effects and a different producer - wishful thinking though lol

Some years ago, I used to download every and each picture from her IG, Snapchat, etc. Nowadays, I don't care about all those new "photo shots" by Ricardo Gomes, "magazine covers" by Klein, etc. I can't see in them neither the diva I've loved for 25 years, nor "the art" she's talking about these days, and I'm sorry for it. I only care about her awesome legacy and the fucking great music and videos she made. And the only thing I'm waiting for is a new music album that surprise me again and make my body hair stand up like before the entire Madame X era.

LAV (and related songs) for sure is not my favourite Madonna's album but contains so many iconic songs that ranking half of them is almost impossible...I'll put my hand on my heart and will vote after a careful assessment.

Never quite liked it. Some songs are ok, but to me it lacks: soul, emotion, tenderness, warm, strong melodies, catchy chorus and good vocals. It is too long, and there is a sameness thorugh it that makes me get bored. And what´s more, an album called erotica but very few of it is sexy or sensual to my ears. Said that, there are some songs and videos from that era quite ok, and that I would play here and there: Rain, Words, Bad girl video..or deeper and deeper. But I started my fandom with ROL and this was the record of her that I liked the least when revisiting, but now I must say it´s Madame x and it´s really the same: too long, sameness, not very good melodies, not very good vocal and most of all: cold.

She needs to do something beautiful. She is able if she wants, what she has done recently, since 2016, is more strange than beautiful in my opinion. She was very good she needs to reconect.
