  1. What do you think the last IG story means? Are we getting a collection of her 50 dance #1s? Reworked? Physical format? Not with at least a new track?

  2. Tsss, it is not political. She poses with Kanye because it makes her look even more like a Kardashian (which seems to be her utlimate goal nowadays).

  7. I just dont understand this obsession with features on albums right now, in my opinion an artist should never create something with the goal of it becoming a chart smash, true magic happens when it is not forced and comes from a place of inspiration that will be reflected in the music. Freddie never came up with Bohemian Rhapsody because he was dreaming for a hit which is precisely why it is one of the greatest songs of all time. I would love to see Madonna do the same, this trend chasing and cringe features are beneath her, sometimes I wonder if she even realizes how incredible her legacy really is.

  8. She said she was meeting with Julia Fox to talk about her movie, and Julia is dating Kanye. Maybe she wants to cast her as Debi Mazar. ‘Uncut Gems’ star Julia Fox knows she looks like Debi Mazar

  9. Why does she hang out with someone who supported Trump and campaigned against abortion?

  10. Does anyone even know what all this stuff was even about? she seems to be hanging out with a lot of rappers right now, get ready for a whole remix album of her classics, lead vocals by Kanye West and Swae Lee with Madonna as a feature.

  15. Hi everyone ! Since we'll soon be celebrating the 40th anniversary of Madonna's career (!!), and due to popular demand, I'll organize a megarate for every single Madonna album. Let's now see how the tracks from the True Blue era compete with each other. As requested by most users who participated in other games, non-album tracks from the same era will also be included. Rules: - Make sure to know all the songs included in the competition. - Rate each song from 1 to 10. You are allowed to give the same rate to multiple songs. - Decimals are allowed only up to the hundredth (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED WHEN YOU CAN IN ORDER TO AVOID TIES). - You are allowed to give one 0 and one 11 (OPTIONAL). - Send your rates to me by personal messenger before January 18th, NOT in the thread. Results: #1 - 9,45 - Open Your Heart #2 - 9,44 - Live to Tell #3 - 9,41 - Papa Don't Preach #4 - 9,34 - La Isla Bonita #5 - 8,51 - True Blue #6 - 8,41 - Who's That Girl #7 - 8,19 - Causing a Commotion #8 - 8,01 - The Look of Love #9 - 7,94 - Where's the Party #10 - 7,30 - Spotlight #11 - 7,15 - White Heat #12 - 5,72 - Can't Stop #13 - 4,81 - Love Makes the World Go Round #14 - 4,74 - Jimmy Jimmy #15 - 4,03 - Santa Baby Good luck to everyone !

  17. Who's Kaney West, he must be a new artist

  18. I know she’s largely been behind the choices but she’s not her own label. She is now, but I’m pretty sure her last three albums still had to be run by the label for commercial viability. Remember the Rebel Heart double album that was turned down? M had to go back make a decision on what to include for and drop what she really wanted.

  21. I actually think Faz Gostaso is top 5 on the album. And with the international popularity of the song, it would have benefited greatly had it been an official single with video.

  22. I think to some degree Anita was a pushed one. Or atleast by the tour she was very sick of everyone wanting a Faz Gostoso music video ????

  35. Yep, the videos for the "Madame X" era looked like a mix between last minute single decisions ("Medellín", "Crave") and artistic statements ("Dark Ballet", "Batuka"). Wasn't "God Control" the first one she shooted for the project? Maybe it was meant to be the first single until they decided to go with "Medellín". I still remember the rumours about a double lead single release: a controversial one and a Latin one...

  37. I definitely dont deny that there is a certain bias against Madonna working with certain black styles of music, like some people dont like Bedtime Stories because of the R&B but I dont think that the majority of Madonna fans are totally deadset against her doing stuff with black artists. Just that nobody wants to see her feeling like a feature on her own album. Im just really conflicted about how I feel about Collaborations as a whole.

  38. Remember when there was a rumour that the Music album's title got switched to Whisper Softly? I'm waiting for THAT vinyl for the anniversary release

  39. Danmm thats a long rant and your ignoring the basic fact that her collaborations suck and thats why they are hated, not because of the color of some guys skin. Hard Candy is held in contempt because its a mediocre record and that goes for Timberlake and his contribution. Fans dont hate Baby Face, Nile Rodgers or Lenny Kravitz now do they? is pretty easy to use the racism excuse to cover up for the fact that her collaborations suck that goes for black artists and non black artists. Madonna fans dont seem to hate Crave even though Swae Lee is a black rapper why? because the track is actually good.

  41. Her first solo performance was at Uncle Sam's Blues Club in Roslyn, Long Island in October 1981, before she was signed to Sire. Photographer George Dubose documented the show. George Dubose: I was contacted by John Phillips, the bouncer at Hurrah's who was sidelining as a radio promotions man, shopping Madonna's first demo to radio stations. He put me together with Camille, of Empire Management, Madonna's manager. Camille asked me to go to Uncle Sam's Blues, a club in Roslyn, Long Island and make live photographs of just the singer who was fronting a band called "The Breakfast Club". Just the singer, not the band. Hmmmm? There was this sexy, young woman wearing barely-concealing costumes of chamois skin and foxtails. She was oozing sexuality, but seemed shy or unsure of herself. I went back stage between sets to meet her. I asked her what her real name was. "Madonna." I offered her encouragement and wrote a short list of suggestions regarding her performance. I was trying to be supportive. When her manager, Camille, discovered the note, she was furious and ejected me from the dressing room, screaming, "How dare you speak to my artist!" I stayed in the club and shot the second set. I took the train back to Manhattan and never heard from Camille again. I referred Madonna to the promoters of Club NY and we saw her shows at the Underground, Danceteria and the Roxy, without a band. My negatives of Madonna's first gig sat in my files for 15 years before anyone had any interest in publishing them. I have since recouped my expenses and then some from my first meeting with Madonna. She first performed "Everybody" live at Danceteria as part of Haoui Montaug's No Entiendes cabaret revue on December 16, 1982. She performed it on TV for the first time on the show Dancin' on Air, which aired on January 9, 1983.
