Like wow, I would like to have a full copy of this without any missed recording from the beginning to end, without gaps from Papa Don't Preach and Hanky Panky. Unfortunately, this recording only available until the half of "Holiday". Better copy of this recording so far despite of Keep It Together not being recorded. I bet this was recorded from a 90 min Type II Chrome cassette tape. Edit: I muxed my copy with this one so check that out.

We want Madonnas vocals not some soundalike and if they have to use other studio takes or have Madge re-record some old songs and try and emulate the style then so be it. To chose an actress on singing ability alone is not the one mama. Madonnas singing voice is unique but it's evolved and changed massively. More than most popular music singers in sound and style i'd say. Choosing for singing voice is folly.

I'm a Madonna fan and a collector.. I'm not interested in streams/downloads I want physical items to collect and I'm sure a lot of others do too. Lets hope her management realize that there's a big market here before it's too late.. i mean that announcement was 6 months ago.. I'm getting fed up of all of this #soon stuff.. ;(

I fear this could be the attitude of all people working with her. On and off camera. She needs someone who says no, who is not afraid to have a different opinion.

I think both she and Diablo were terrified of being live on camera more than Madonna herself. Imagine going out live to thousands of thirsty Madonna fans.

Like a Prayer is a great song but it doesn’t make sense as a title for her life story. NKM and WIFLFAG make more sense in the context of a biopic.

Honestly I'm so happy if it turns out to be a series. It would solve both the length problem and lessen expectations. This way, it might even become a cult hit instead of a 0% Rotten Tomatoes trashfire it's destined to be. I say, bring it on! She could even do the voice-overs for her show just like Chris Rock did.

Madonna is the first woman/recording artist to achieve such feat. I'm ecstatic that they want to highlight this milestone with a new and special compilation release. Think about the big picture! This is just the start of re-issues and special projects to commemorate Madonna's music. The fact that there is time and accomplished contributors included is proof that this is going to be well done. Sounds like a party to me! This might come in the form of special EDITS of loved remixes/dubs exclusive to this release with enhanced mastering. Digital or physical or maybe both with unique artworks? Some of these past remixes are award winners unique to the DJ/remixers' work. They might be separate or mixed, segued or mashed--we don't know yet! All we know is that they are working on something in-studio. Even if its just digital to start, this is a great start to new projects under Warner. Maybe the digital will feature full remixes, and the physical release 2-3 discs and/or 5-6 vinyl compilations of special edits (think of Sufjan Stevens's Convocations 5xLP release--so this is doable). I don't think this is a megamix, or maybe one will be included?! I would not be surprised if we get something by Valentine's Day with a special limited release come RSD in April. I also think it's perfect timing considering we all want to DANCE after being in lockdown for the past 2 years!

Madonna used to be very attracted to powerful and dangerous men, now she wants young and pliable boy toys that strike me to be dumb as a pile of bricks. This is the legacy of two failed marriages I suppose.
