She didn't put much effort? Seriously? She spent almost a year working on Rebel Heart recording new music, changing lyrics, melodies, production. That alone should prove you she was very into the music and the project as a whole, and so she was into Madame X as well, experimenting with Portuguese music, Fado and keeping the era alive (her own way) as she left the 'Madame X' Persona go on for almost three years. Just because you're not into something, doesn't mean she is not into it as well.

Why can’t people just be happy for what’s being offered? This is about her already existing catalogue being made available on streaming. And it’s great this stuff is getting properly released after many years of being neglected.

It will never beat the original for visuals

I'm still beyond happy when we get these mixes online, especially when there's promo mixes and stuff that's been on two or three different discs. It's made me reconsider purchasing a lot of the singles, since they're now so easily accessed and also backed up on my hard drive. It just makes it a lot more perfectly organized, one meta-release per single. There's been omissions in the early days, but still, I'm very happy. Now, could they do this once per month? Absolutely, but there's not too many left, once you think about it. I'd also be cool with leaving them off the deluxe editions, there's probably a lot of demos and alternate takes which would be more valuable to take up space than 10 mixes of "...Argentina". There might even be a "Super Deluxe" kind of deal for each album, with the singles included, small vinyl replicas and everything.

Maybe you could imagine that somewhere else, because all you do is spreading toxic negativity!

My god, Girl Gone Wild, Living for Love, Ghosttown, God Control, Batuka all great singles, and that's just a few of great song's from album's she released past decade. Go grumble somewhere else.

Everything can always be better, but so far the digital singles campaign is good, to be honest. We can only complain that there are not more regular releases, but apart from that? We've been treated with rare promo and vinyl mixes when possible and audio quality is perfect or as perfect as it was when they were released - the original audio quality, not fake 2021-2022 loud remastering, like "True Blue 35th". These are meant to be catalogue releases, personally I don't want new remixes attached to the original ones. We've already got the new "Frozen" remix project and whatever else they want to do in that respect for that.

WW3 is getting a faster release.

With her last few albums it felt like she didn't put much effort, time and passion at making them she used to do. She always had a good "music ear" and she was always coming back with a strong lead single. I wonder what happened after 2008 and she declined so fast musically. I mean, i don't blame her cuz her greatness lasted for so long compared to others, and she has a family, but i'm curious. It's like she has lost interest about music but keeps making music instead of just enjoying her life. In Madame X she doesn't even try to sing sometimes, she just screams loudly, she doesn't even try to sound good, she just sings. Now she's milking Frozen and makes a music video or idk for it, while she was always saying she doesn't like repeating her self.

TBH, i'm quite happy that she feels passionate enough about this project to even film a video. We all should be proud about her and her passion after all she's done in her career.

What are peoples thoughts on the artwork for the upcoming physical special editions. All her interscope albums had special edition artworks and we also got a new True Blue 35 cover. Prince, Phil Collins, George Michael all changed some of their artworks for the special edition. How would we feel if the original albums ALL had different artworks for the physicals? I definitely think that this will happen. Collectors will want to purchase albums with new artwork. I just hope Aldo Diaz is on holiday when the call comes in. It’s Madonna. She’ll want to bring something fresh.

I think most of all I just want a remastered Like A Prayer album. That album is a masterpiece and I think hearing it polished up and maybe in spatial sound would really bring it back to life. It feels so much more dusty than every other album she has.

It shouldn’t be done by an in-house label designer. Get in touch with the original designer, or hire a professional designer to create something that’s slightly different. I like the approach of what the Prince estate does. I even wouldn’t even mind if an alternate unused cover option from the original designers were used too.

Oh you just KNOW he's gotten the job already. I think what makes her album covers gorgeous is that they are simple captured images. Too many effects age badly etc. Look at her first three album covers. They're just perfect. I would be interested in image variants though but nothing with crazy effects or tacky gradients or color changes like that True Blue one. A gorgeous image ruined.

I couldn't agree with you more on this one. She's had a good long career, but I think she's lost her creative intuition. It seems she's trying so hard to keep that famous work ethic alive that her music, these days, just comes out forced and unenthusiastic. I can't say I blame her for being tired - she's been at this gig for a long time, but she's got a whole gaggle of kids now, and it's really time to focus on them.

Her covers are so iconic I can’t really imagine the albums with alternate images. For example TB 35 used a beautiful image but it’s no match for the original. Maybe they can package them in a box that’s using alternate artwork but not the albums themselves. Also I’m a bit concerned about the artwork for 12”s. I’m hoping these releases will be flawless and Rhino has not done a great job with the covers so far…

Im thinking they're saving alot of them for the re-issue campaign. There's still all the American Life, Ray of Light, Music era stuff. Some from Erotica. Alot of promo mixes from those albums so it'll be interesting to see what they, um....whip out. Really hoping for all the Fever promo mixes....THAT is the single I am waiting for the most. Wouldnt be surprised if the re-issue campaign starts with Ray of Light...but instinctively, my money is on Erotica.
