Just because she didn’t tease something on social media, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. She could have recorded more than 1 song with SickKick. She could have worked with other producers too that we don’t know of

This 100%. No way the movie us scrapped for good. She mentionned she is still doing it in her new Vanity Fair interview. If the interview was months ago old she would have make them delete that line. She for sure read the thing just before it's been posted online. When she asked us if we want a new tour or a movie it was more like what do you want first. She knew the result of the poll would be the tour, of course. She's a smart business woman, she knows a movie cost a lot of money (she mentionned it already), she knows with a greatest hits tour with expensive arena deats she will earn a lot, then she can fund the movie by herself and do it as she wants (maybe a serie who knows, she also mentionned it once). The movie will happen, one way or another. She knows a movie on her life will be in the making in the near future, remember she read about it and was furious. That's why she decided to make her movie, because to quote her "her story can be told only by herself". She also knows that after making a good greatest hits tour and maybe a good new album people will be into her, she will be back on top and the movie will be even more succesfull. The movie is just delayed, not scrapped. Anyway no one, nor her or someone from her team said the movie was scrapped, it's just gossip at this point.

I think Warner should re-release Celebration 4 LPl with an extra OUTER COVER inspired by the poster of the tour. Something like this (I made):

I'm honestly really glad about this. The whole project sounded terrible to me tbh. There wasn't a single thing that I liked from what we'd learned about it, and the first sign of disaster happened when Diablo Cody left the project. Hopefully with this project shelved Madonna will extend the tour.

Imagine if she reissued The Immaculate Collection expanded and reloaded !

a singer who no longer creates new songs is a dead singer. difficult to do on stage at 65 what she excelled in the past, on the other hand, musical creation is not affected by age. she can still make the most beautiful album of her career whereas she will never be able to make a show better than those of the past.

I was told this from somebody close to the project. Madonna at one point wanted to cast Lourdes to play her. I heard all about Julia Garner before it was announced too. Two weeks ago I was told that the film was officially shelved. My friend, who works in the industry, got to see a few pages of the script and said it was dreadful. Bottom line, be thankful this isn’t happening. Let her write her memoir and then option it to a studio.

Something about the “four decades” thing keeps jumping out to me about the tour. Whether this presents itself in a Bowie Style four CD project with the 4th CD being MDNA- Madame X plus 7-8 new songs to make it something people would purchase would actually be everything I’d love. New music is always the thing I want most from her.

Thank God. She directing this would have been a disaster like WE and the awful editing of the past tours.

By the way, This video gave me another idea. Listen at the music in this video, it's Madonna's hit songs and the classical instruments make it cohesive like a long one piece. Especially that Power of goodbye part.. I love it so much! So This is just my idea, but through this kind of classical remix touch, she maybe could release the entire greatest hit songs like a "confessions on a dance floor" album without breaking them off like a long one song.

The audience reaction after a 4 or 5 hours (!!!!) delay won't help to have a show to be remembered forever. At least not in a good way. That's part of the issue, too. She can be late, but a show is also a constant exchange of energy between the artist and the audience. If the audience is left waiting for hours, they won't be as fresh and receiving, the artist will feel that and everything is a mess in the end. The artist feeds from the audience. If the audience is tired of waiting, pissed off, etc., it's not the best situation for anyone, including the artist. So being extremely late benefits literally no one. PS: I've seen many of other pop shows as intricate as hers with the artist starting on time. Tech issues can happen yes, but I'd like to think her health was the reason for this problem in the last decade and it shouldn't be happening now with the new tour...

It would make much more sense to drop a book first. Was there ever anyone who released a biopic and then a memoir afterwards? Even tho she'd be heavily involved in the making of the movie, I still think it wouldn't do her justice. Most biopics are full of fictions & inacurracy. a book for the fans and a movie / tv series later for the masses pls

Not a chance. I really believe FEL was the result of a new GH's compilation. Knowing Madonna's feelings regarding doing "Greatest Hits", she most likely negotiated doing FEL celebrating her 50 dance hits instead, which pretty much includes all her biggest hits. I also agree, there could be some chance that a re-issue of Celebration might be in the works.

I wish she gave up from directing and producing movies and enjoy her time doing more provocative projects, concerts/ acoustic concerts, new albums, anyway: more music and less movies. Let the movies for the future when she no longer go on tour lol Funny though, becayse she mentioned it in the latest interview for VF. It was brief but it was there

Greatest Hits albums are the most useless thing in an era where you can create playlists on Spotify. What's the point? It's not very wise to release a compilation after a compilation… My coins are on a new EP released before the tour starts, so she can include a couple new songs on the setlist.

I was never sold on the idea of the movie but I do think she should write her life story and release a book. She wouldn't be limited to two hours, she could release several volumes. I think it's a wise decision to put the tour first, it's what people want from her.

I still want a real project about her life. The real version, not the ‘I arrived to Times Square with only $35 and wrote Everybody all by myself’ version

It would be great if she selected her favorite fan remixes of her classics for some sort of Greatest Hits/Spotify playlist. Put a twist on it. Some of the stuff from Dubtronic, Marco Sartori, Dens 54, Monsieur Adi, etc. over the last few years has kept me fed.

This would be kinda pointless imo, especially right after the remix compilation album. We're in the streaming era now so it would make more sense to just release a greatest hits playlist on Spotify rather than an actual album imo.

We know she was making new music last year and she even shared a snippet of a new original song with Sickick (I wanna hear the whole song so badly!) so this might happen, the thing is how she will drop that, if standalone releases or a ep / album. Hopefully it's a album or EP but anyways it would be great to drop in the middle of the tour to boost the hype and buzz from the public

I'm a long time Madonna fan. I know she comes on late. I accept it as a fan and move on. However - As someone who works in the touring entertainment field, I have a behind-the-scenes insight that most don't. What really sucks is how this affects the blue-collar stagehands. They are compromised of a mostly local, union crew. They aren't traveling with her. They are just working a job locally. When she's being a diva and not coming on stage on time, they are forced to work longer hours than expected away from their families (though with double pay) to accommodate her being a brat and doing what she wants. That's disrespectful to the local stagehands who just want to do their job and go home. And NO - artists coming on hours late is not common place. Maybe some big name, unstoppable divas do it on occasion because they can (Beyonce, Prince, Mariah, etc.). But most artists can't and don't get away with doing it regularly. The fines for adding overtime pay to stagehands/ushers/security would bankrupt them and piss off their promoters. It eats into their profit. Quit excusing this bad behavior just because she can get away with it. I love her. I don't love this behavior.

Am i the only one who wants her to release a memoir instead of the biopic. Or at least drop the book and the movie later.
