It's so sad that people here are so full of negativity. I am a producer. I have always used my musical and graphic skills to bring life stuff that us fans always wanted to have. I had never shared anything in here claiming as "official" stuff. Why waste all my skills and talent and share as fucking official, without signing my name on it? That would be stupid! If anyone else has shared anything from my channel here as "official file". I'm not the one to blame. Please do not use the word FAKE before you actually know where something is from. The word "fake" carries so mush negativity and really brings us down!

While filming Evita in Argentina she met and befriended a lot of Eva Peron friends and she felt that the movie she was filming was not doing her justice. Since the script was set in stone because it's a musical, no change could be made. This has been happening since forever, people do mixes and used her voice or remixed her songs. This is not the first mix with a simple vocal feature or distorted vocals. It's a dance song not a Madonna song. They use a sample from another song. It's been always the case with house, techno tracks ie. Loleatta Holloway's "Love sensation" I personally will never consider or have the stomach to listen to any of the Otto Von Wernherr work, but lots of fans consider that 'early years' ( Gods!gods!gods!gods!) The difference is that she is putting on credits, making the money and gets some social boost in platforms without having to create new content and reach to a much younger demographic. It's a good call and I doubt it will be use on her own catalog. Also it doesn't sound too different from that Oakenfield mix tbh

All this talk about her working with "nobodies" as if she doesn't have a long history of seeking out inspiration from underground and up and coming music scenes. The only difference is she's now directly working with the people who've inspired something rather than finding it through them and then going off and doing it on her own. Besides, as has been mentioned, this really could have nothing to do with her other than she--or her team--granted permission to use the song.

Oh that's super interesting. Piggy backing off of that, she used to come to the University of Michigan semi-regularly when I was a student there. She was spotted multiple times in the residence hall where Lola stayed, and apparently she used to even eat in the open dining hall around other students. She'd come to the campus to see Lola in shows, take her out to dinner with friends, etc. Apparently, she wore her sunglasses the entire time for an hour plus long meeting with the Dean of the School of Music when they first visited with Lola as a prospective student lol. Can you imagine? I also visited Ciccone Vineyards and the woman in the tasting room said Madonna was up there relatively regularly.

Also she never knew they made a radio edit for 4 Minutes, compromising the planned running time to exactly 4 minutes long until a radio personality pointed out that's what they were sent. She seemed very irritated about it. She secretly visited Michigan in her home town in Bay City in spring 2003. Plus she comes here more often than people think 😉 She never wanted Sorry to be a single. She was against the cowgirl look for the Music album until her stylist conivnced her it was fitting. Vince Aletti is one of the most respected music & arts critic, he used to review singles and albums for the Village Voice and had a special connection to Madonna (he did one of her most interesting interview ever in Aperture in 1999). While doing his single reviews he used to call her to get more infos on the songs. So in 1991 in his review of the Justify My Love maxi cd, she called him from her gynecologist office and told him "The Beast Within" was Saddam Hussein. So TUTBMP is a sister song to In This Life but specifically about the innocence and joy of her clubbing years in Manhattan and most likely, the person she wishes was "here with me" is Martin Burgoyne, her clubbing partner in crime. Oh, I'm not doubting it's not "real" or even an "official release". I question if this is just another of many mash ups or remixes throughout the years that have been released, but really didn't involve Madonna, nor was something she's planning to promote in anyway. I guess if it got popular than that can change, but I just don't think Madonna has much to do with this release other than using her song and name.

Yup, I heard about all of that (news in MI gets around quickly). But even before that, she would bring her family (with Guy Richie) here from time to time. "Hou Mamma Mia" by Les Negresses Vertes second album was written for and sent to Madonna in 1990 but she had no time to record it so she slapped their demo on the european version of Dick Tracy's soundtrack because she really liked it even though it was not related to DT nor it blended well with the rest of the soundtrack (penned Andy Paley mostly but Madonna was the executive producer with Seymour Stein of the "various artists" OST). At the time they talked about it to french tv station M6 (they wanted her to sing in italian). They finally released it themselves in 1993. She was made aware of the Negresses Vertes by Jean-Paul Gaultier and their 1989 international crossover hit "Zobi La Mouche" remixed by...William Orbit, she then asked them for a track. She also slapped Ofra Haza's Herida De Miel on that european version because she discovered her then via Vincent Paterson while rehearsing for the Blond Ambition tour, her music inspired Like A Virgin on that show.
