this thread is worth a look with regards to Spanish Blu-Rays. Many are without question unlicensed releases by their original studio owners, but that doesn’t mean the picture and sound quality will be automatically bad. for example; True Lies comes from the original digital theatre masters, and is still to have an international official release. Well I hope you’re right. It just seems strange that we’re less than 2 months away from opening night of the tour and there’s no news of anything in the pipeline. It would be a really strange move not to capitalise on it, maybe they’re gonna announce everything all at once, I just wish everything wasn’t so random, there never seems to be any clear strategy when I comes to M. She’s clearly been working on something music related, only time will tell, but it’s getting a bit tedious. Just remembered Warner Brasil posted this, so the announcement of 'Madonna 40' can't be that far off

Yep, it was added to the digital Deluxe album since day 1, at least on iTunes. I think the remix and "It's So Cool" were iTunes exclusives for a while and later the 38-track version was the digital Deluxe everywhere. What I meant is that M. probably finished the album version with Oakenfold in March 2009 and they decided to go with it and give it the full single treatment but when the remixes arrived she liked Benassi so much that decided to do the video with it and put it as a bonus on the digital. The compilation physicals were probably already printed/pressed or in the process of doing that. The "Celebration" single (original version) was premiered in July 2009 and the video filmed the same month. Question is if she used the album version for the filming and it was later changed to the remix on editing or it was the remix for the video since the beginning.

For me, Autotune Baby is a sexy, fun and romantic song. And I think it’s very cleverly written and produced. I want it on vinyl eventually.

Maybe the second one may be the iTunes version. That one was 24 fps for sure, I bought it on iTunes Spain but the language was only Spanish. Just checked iTunes US and it's only English language there, so who knows where those two come from xd Time to complain again about how hard to find her movies are now, most of them only on old DVDs. Her lack of presence with her movies on streaming platforms is almost insulting. I'm aware she's not considered as the most gifted actress ever, but all those are part of her legacy anyway.

I like both, single version is brighter and lighter, remixed version is darker and trancier, it depends on my mood for me.

To Have And Not To Hold Future Lovers or Into The Groove

The only cover of Rebel Heart that is good is the licorice around her face. It’s weird and that’s one of the things we love about M. And the only cover of Madame X that is good is the one where she’s blonde looking up to the side, like a Babushka. Oh and the one of her with a guitar is good! Anything but that awful Connie Chung cover.

Maybe Benassi's remix arrived too late for the album and the whole send to radios, etc.? It was definitely her fave version cause she went straight to it with the video, completely skipping the album version. And of course she ended the "MDNA Tour" with it. Surely she liked the original but when the remix arrived she liked it even more? Gotta say I didn't like the remix back in 2009 and preferred the album version... silly me. It slaps hard. I love it now, of course, though I like the original as well. It's like the original is the daytime version and the remix the dirty night time one.

Sorry to be that person again but there's not much to talk about since there's nothing new. "Madonna"'s 40th anniversary is July 27 2023. That one is a Thursday, so an anniversary release would be July 28, Friday. That leaves two months from next week to have a healthy standard time for pre-orders, pre-album released tracks and all the usual stuff. I think this space since the last digital release (a month ago this week) may not be random and maybe we're close to the first reissue. Here we go again, I know, but...
