I heard that Madonna is going to fire her engineers because clearly they are no where as good as us here on this forum.

Already working on my version of the show montage. Doing my best with the footage we got so far, using footage from here and there that i've been searching for these two days, mostly original sources as u already know those r the ones i prefer to work with, not reposted or retweeted stuff. I didn't do any kind of montage with the full performances because those full videos are really good so i kept them in full as they r without intertwining any other footage in between the song. But that's just my choice. And also, i didn't do anything with the audio. So u'll find different audios and volumes, if anyone wants to play with the audio and try to make it sound the same all over the montage that'd be great. I think some Bob The Drag Queen footage is missing, but, well... And i ended up placing JML Violet performance just before Hung Up because u can see her leaving the stage left side right before Hung Up starts. So It goes: IDSIF intro, some Bob footage, Vogue, JML, Hung Up, the speech, drags and Saucy, Material Girl, Bob, Celebration, Holiday and some Honey Dijon footage in the end.

I have the feeling this performance is a turning point among many M fans, like after several not so great performances for Madonna standards, if she fucked up that one after two weeks of rehearsals, then Madonna the amazing stage showgirl is officially over, and if kills it and put on an amazing gig then she still has it and these average performances were just a bad spell and now she's back to her amazing standards... anyone else feels the kinda the same ?!

Yeah, but it has to be more with Madonna´s own path since 2020 than with fans being fans, to tell you the truh. I think it is difficult being fan of the current Madonna if you were a fan of her pristine feautures: everything super trained, super rehearsed, beautiful pictures, smart interviews, innovative music, tasty photoshoot, a smart message behind everthing. Now it´s all rushed, underehearsed, bad products and she does not look like herself.

The remix video is still a 100 times better than anything frozen TikTok, let’s celebrate FEL era and just enjoy it for the fun retrospect that it is, it’s a celebration of her musical achievements that’s it.

OK, now you're all making a disaster/"Celebration" bad remastering scenario for "Finally Enough Love" when the reality is we've had so far a not perfect, but rather good one remaster ("Into The Groove") and another one not that good that comes from an "already not that good" master, anyway ("Deeper And Deeper"). Don't get me wrong, I've always said I prefer NO remastering at all - I was super happy when the back catalogue digital singles were released as they were, without sound boosting or anything. But I also understand that in a 2022 compilation that simply can't happen. General public simply don't expect to have to turn the volume uuuup to listen to something. A product like this needs to meet the nowadays standards. Let's wait, there will be another advanced track soon and then we'll have a fuller picture. And by the way, almost everyone in the music business would kill to work with Mike Dean. If that man isn't experienced enough for you to handle this project I don't know who it can be then.

I mean. Of course it's not 2008, 2012 or even 2016 Madonna. She's 62 now and gone through complicated and painful surgery. You better accept she's not going backwards in age or you're going to be disappointed every time from now on. But that doesn't mean she needs to hide and not perform ever again. Don't tell her to stop...

To be fair, when those videos were created back then, the b-roll footage was readily available as the music videos had been recently filmed. This is a remix video using 29 years+ old footage and it likely would have taken longer to retrieve the b-roll footage - that's even if they considered it given this is just a remix video. I'm not sure why people are treating this like anything more than a nice to have official remix music video.

I don't see myself listening to fifty songs on a row by most people but I could see people listening to 10 or 15 and later picking up where they left off. I can also see people discovering Madonna music that they do not even know exists. Most of the general public is oblivious to M-s music (outside of her monster hits). Many people have never heard Nothing Really Matters or Turn Up the Radio. It isn't that they dislike those songs, they just never heard them. There are songs by Sade, Darren Hayes and even Prince that I have "discovered" while searching for a monster hit on streaming and I am more than a casual fan of all three. Having fifty songs to choose from will provide discovery for some people and also expose people to M's extensive catalog. Most people did not reject Madame X, they just have no idea that it exists. Listening to IDSIF, could encourage exploration and discovery of that album. The discography on this collection could open people up to many of M's songs ignored by radio, despite being as good (or better) than the vast majority of things on infinite repeat.
