  1. if I had information about the size of the arena... yes I could!
  2. YES! thats a good question since the concert was performed in an arena I dont see the point - but I can think of two scenarios: the metal stairs were shipped to Macau but she wasn't in the mood to perform those songs the stairs were not shipped there as a cost saving measure (which would be weird)
  3. yes, I agree! and @migsou is right about that - my point is about "nothing is attached to the ceilings of the arenas" everything is hanged from the ceiling on the Celebration Tour except the main stage and runways - in the S&S stage they were able to fit the hanged portion of the light fixtures and rounded LED screens because the runway was not super long, which is very different this time. so that's why everything that's off of the main stage (in terms of hanged fixtures) probably won't make it to Rio. one good example is Katy's Witness Tour in Latin America - they had a different version of the main LED screen, but all props were there, with the exception of.... everything that was hanged from the ceiling of the arenas in the US/Europe leg. also: in no shape or form this will impact the experience of the show, I'm sure M will be radiant and concert will be an amazing achievement in her carreer and also for us brazilians just giving you my honest professional opinion (which could be also very wrong)
  4. I'm a gaúcho fella but yes! I think Globo will make a huge event off of this concert - who cares about soap operas??
  5. sorry to rain on your parade, but... since (as far as we know) its just a one-night-only concert in this format (open air/stadium), it would be too costly to built a structure like the one holding the disco ball up in the Confessions stadium shows for just one concert. I'm a stage designer so my best guess is that the stage will remain the same except from the side projection screens and the portal/flying rig - so everything in the main stage will be kept as is, the same goes for the runways, including the Bedtime Story cube. but... we shall see
  6. about the broadcast: Globo is a jauggernaut and their social media team is top notch, so they know if they comment in something like this, the fans will assume the show will be broadcast - so they did not comment on Itaú's post lightly... so have Azul (the brazilian airline). my thinking is that Itaú, Globo, Azul AND the beer brand that was rumoured to cover the extra costs are all sponsors of the event - even though Itaú is the majority player of course.
  7. for all the naysayers that did not believe... or said Rio couldn't handle an event like this....she's coming soon!
  8. I don't think it will be a different show. It'll probably be a slightly different version of the Celebration Tour, much like the Olympia version of MDNA. Adapting a show is much easier than creating a new concept, also: all the reports and rumors mention the Celebration Tour as her 40 anniversary show in addition to Itaú's 100 anniversary.
  9. guys, Rio already hosted gigantic events (such as the Olympics) and annually, at every Carnaval much more than 1 million people enjoy the party on the streets. the Rolling Stones concert in '06 took place with no major incidents. if this is being arranged and planned for months behind the scenes, they already have everything they need to make it happen. I remember the press saying there were 1.5 million people in 2006 so it's really not impossible. don't let the Taylor Swift disaster scare you.
  10. yes I now! that's why I said it's giving me LIFE hahaha Confessions and IMGTTYAS are masterpieces
  11. ohhhh......... now she means business! a live concert directed by Jonas? its giving me LIFE
  12. about Brazil: it's the clash of the gays. Rafael from MadonnaOnline rising from the ashes to say the concert will happen and Drowned saying it wont... us brazilians know that MadonnaOnline has connections, but at the same time Drowned also has. the last rumour I heard was that the it will be a single concert at Copacabana Beach in Rio, like the Rolling Stones' massive concert in 2006. time will tell
  13. okay so, the next dates are at MSG, am I the only one who thinks she'll record the MSG shows for release? I mean, to me, that's what makes sense within the narrative, its circling back to the beginning. LIFE IS A CIRCLE... LIFE IS A CIRCLE....
  14. even though the brazilian audience NEVER dissapoints, my gut is saying that this time around she's gonna film the NYC concert at MSG, its where it makes the most sense, even the stage mirrors NYC, it goes hand in hand with the story and concept of the tour... but let's wait and see
  15. btw: remember when we all thought she was gonna sing Back That Up To The Beat?
  16. also, up until Paris she stayed in the same place throughout NRM, but starting in Paris now the stage revolves on the first verse before the break and before M going to the central platform.
  17. about the merch store, do you know if its usually located after entering the gates or before it? I'm thinking about going early but no point if will only be able to access the store after the gates open
  18. yep! I bought the You Can Dance package - they said it would be sent 1 week before the concert but my anxious ass is getting anxious
  19. does anyone who's attending the Lisbon shows have received their VIP tickets yet?
  20. my body is ready to be lifted to the skies with NRM now pretty much confirmed 😍
  21. hey guys! I'm attending both nights in Lisbon! Mon Nov 06 – Lisbon, PT – Altice Arena Tue Nov 07 – Lisbon, PT – Altice Arena
  22. we're almost a week from the first post from Guy.... this waiting for official news about her health is getting to me. I'm positive she'll be back stronger than ever but the radio silence is deafening!
