Yes true, no pun intended,d but human nature to complain about something you perceive as lacking - can never please everyone - but hopefully whatever comes does please the majority!
I agree also - we've been getting HEAPS - trips down memory lane with the single re issue's - RSD, FEL etc. 

Yes we all are excited for the expanded editions and when they are released, the complaints will switch to the content (no matter what M releases)
There are fans here who will attempt to create a false narrative that we are years into the deal and nothing has been released - which as we know is bullshit. 

I don’t know what’s more annoying at this point. Not getting the album reissues or the constant complaining from fans.
If people are frustrated they should complain to Rhino instead of here. Maybe that will offer some actual answers.

I can appreciate your enthusiasm, but we don't know if a new song is actually coming before the tour.  And if it did (before the tour), I still can't see it being a "world wide hit".   I love for it to happen though. 

While we have been getting unreleased stuff (mostly in the form of remixes, remix edits etc) to be fair, we were never promised unreleased songs specifically:
For the first time, Madonna will personally curate expansive deluxe editions for many of her landmark albums, as well as introduce unique releases for special events, and much more.
'Expansive' does not mean previously unreleased however it is likely we will see previously unreleased stuff which is nice.
Fans in this thread and in many forums and on social media have curated their own narrative for what we will be getting however it's important to remember a lot of that is just assumptions and hopes and dreams.
I'm confident a lot is coming and we will all be very happy

Nah, I do believe whole heartily we are getting a 40th Anniversary re-issue of her first album in the coming months.  How they go about doing that, is a bit more questionable for me than nothing happening at all. There is no way they are going to let her first album's 40th Anniversary fly by without something big.  I'm betting they are going to tie it with the tour somehow and if there is a new song involved, it's evident they are trying to keep it all under wraps until they reveal a setlist or when the tour starts. 

Yep.  While I understand the frustration of waiting, but as few of us continually have pointed out many times, the first album celebrates it's 40th Anniversary this July.  The whole Warner deal is centered around her 40 years in the business. It only makes sense to re-issue the first expanded set when that anniversary comes around.  Everybody re-issue was released in a timely manner of it's 40th Anniversary and as you stated, they aren't going to pass up paying huge respect to her first album's release.  I suspect they are tying it into the tour as well.   I have to wonder if a brand new song will be tied to this first re-issue as well.  Maybe I'm stretching a bit, but Max Martin said the new song he and Madonna worked on is similar to her older music, so it's possible they recorded a new song to pay homage to the first re-issue. 

I'd imagine if the first album is coming there'd be an announcement of some kind before the end of the month to tie in with the album release date of July 27, 1983. Yes she'll be on tour by then but I think it all lines up

do we think that proper releases and reissues will start coming out to coincide with the tour? I know that these digital single remixes and reissues are part of the strategy as well, but when do we think proper releases will start?

I would say, this is a good Dolby Atmos mix, obviously remixed and remastered from the stems used for the original IC mix but without Q-sound as the software for that is long gone. There is no center channel and LFO but I think it's okay since there is a good amount of bass and center channel for the front L and R channels.

I don't believe any of it is a mistake.  I think Madonna or he thought, "hey let's update this slightly" while adding adlibs, sounds, etc. Unfortunately, I find it all atrocious. This is disappointing how they are re-imagining this album on the digital and streaming platforms.  It's like taking any of her studio albums and replacing the original classics with alternate mixes.  This album should be left as it was originally released.  I'm fine if they want to add new heighten technology to make the original mixes to sound better, but changing the actual songs is ruining what it once was.  That said; I guess no one but us hard core fans care. It's just an insult to the actually original release. Up until now, I didn't mind Mike Dean, but if he's behind the re-issues, this is the first time I am fearful of what's to come.

Interesting. The source on the MadonnaTribe forum talking about the reissues also anticipated this, that they were working on updating the certifications too, according to a plan and that it would be revealed soon. The "Immaculate" update with the Dolby Atmos release is perfect timing and obviously something they've worked on, since certifications must be asked previously by the labels. Great!
About the expanded editions, the same source wrote this:
Madonna's team are working very hard in insane levels of detail on putting together the tracklistings including some nice surprises. Rhino will just receive what M's team put together. A LOT of hard work has gone into locating specific edits and versions from very exhaustive lists for example - it will be for M to decide what actually goes out and for Rhino to decide commercially what makes sense in terms of number of physical discs (if they go down a physical product route - I have zero info on the product side of things).

I can guarantee that the track listings suggested are exhaustive.
Also, replying to another comment, he said he didn't know when the first reissue is coming.

Strange on PDP when you disable atmos it plays the normal ending. All tracks sound louder and remastered when atmos is turned on. Rescue Me 😍

Has it also been discussed that Papa has a different ending with new adlibs?

When I read that "Lucky Star" and "Borderline" are not even the proper real "Immaculate" versions I knew this would be some kind of AI Dolby thing, not properly re-mastered for Dolby Atmos on a proper studio.
I mean, it was the perfect excuse to finally fix those two on digital. The fact that they hadn't means not much thought has been put on it. So maybe they just took the files and put some AI filter on them and bam, done?
Dolby Atmos on Apple Music can be very hit or miss anyway, as far as I know.

Well I'm just listening now but Lucky Star is an extended mix and Borderline isn't the right one either.
