yeah, I've read all over again how M has said her first show was Bowie when she was 15. I wanted to see which date and tour she assisted to. calculating years, she was 15 in 73/74. the Ziggy Stardust Tour had a couple of dates in Detroit, in October 72 and March 73, when she was still 14., while the Diamond Dogs Tour had two dates in June 74 (perhaps she went to one of these two), and a residence of 6 shows in October 74. Besides I remember she said the show had mimes all over, and that fits the DD show.

When I talked about this with a friend, he noted how her make up on the Drowned World Tour looked so much as that of Bowie's during the Diamond Dogs show.

oh The Glass Spider Tour was so iconic but took so much of him personally and artistically, he said he was exhausted even before the first show, and he got to the point of not knowing what the audience wanted and forgot his first audience was himself. but thanks to that we got the glorious 90s albums, a complete rennaisance of his work and creativity where he gave no fucks to what people wanted, he just did his thing. i mean, 1.Outside is the best album ever made!

the misprint is on the tracklist, which places Future closing side A, when it actually opens side B in most editions as far as I know. some clear LPs have this too.

the tour's not even visiting my continent and honestly that lifts SUCH A WEIGHT from me bc i won't stress about tickets or anything, or worry about money i don't and won't have.

also, the demo of Beautiful Scars is superior to the released version, there i said it.

as far as I know, she didn't want to perform the Santiago show, and was willing to cancel it. that's what a friend of mine who worked on the promoter company told me. nearly 2 hours before opening the doors to the audience and start the soundcheck/rehearsal, she agreed with the promoters to perform the minimum stipulated on the contract: 75% of the show, which meant taking off the opening segment. that's why no songs from the first act were even practiced earlier, and she was with a terrible attitude through the entire soundcheck.

yeah but you can get inside th process /after/ the thing is released, and then you appreciate the different things that were discarded or changed instead of wondering how that will be.

(I can't believe I didn't listened to any demos until late 2015, and Living For Love was the only song I heard before the album release)
