bowie had a few old albums reworked as part of a boxset. i think madonna's first album should be remastered in a boxset and one of the cds should be the album reproduced by the neptunes/pharrel. same tracklist, none added vocals, just a reinterpretation and modern mixes

ray of light is so severely overrated that fans have lost all reason in regards to the album. it's amazing, but it's overlong at times. I actually prefer the music orbit material now as it's more simplistic and he and mirwais doing half an album each and being aware of what the other is doing makes for a great pop album

Hope you dig it! I think it turned out well.
I tried to integrate some of the vocal flow from Stardonna/Stuntmasterz and stay loyal to the original.

has anyone found any errors in the tracklist yet or pops and clicks and the tracks and spelling mistakes.

Has anyone done a complete breakdown on the tracklist so we know if they are just remasters of mixes, new re-created edits and completly different versions of previously released and known mixes?

I already foresee the drama when the First Album is re-released in a special version including the "rare B-side" Ain't no big deal and a few remixes and that's all. The real treat would be to have the different demos of the song produced by Kamins, Jellybean and Bray.
Same if they release Like a prayer with Supernatural or Angels without First is a kiss or Love attack. It's also about time to hear the demos from the tape. Will they really be so generous?

This is a reconstruction of the demo version of Into the Groove played during the end credits of Desperately Seeking Susan, created from the multitrack. I spent a lot of time making it match as closely as possible to create an HQ version of the demo. It uses the original bass and drum sounds and none of the instruments which were changed or added to the released mix or the Shep Pettibone mix.
4/8/22 UPDATE: This is a newly revised 2022 version which is closer to the sound of the demo version. This is my 3rd version and I think the final and best.  I left the previous version up in case you still want it.

if they release blond ambition tour bluray then we'll all be disappointed as we won't get to moan about her not releasing it anymore. thats part of the fun

for me it's also an album rooted to fail commercially. comerical pop acts get so big and you can't sustain that when you're not the new acts anymore. by the time like a prayer album came out it was clear singles off madonna's albums weren't going to become hits based on her name alone like the true blue/who's that girl commercial peak. 
 
like a prayer singles had to be pushed and many just didn't connect in the way people expected. oh father, dear jessie, keep it together and the cancelled pray for spanish eyes. 
 
her next album was lucky to miss out the "flop" label (i'm breathless) as vogue and it's being kind of a soundtrack. the next record being a greatest hits was a mop up excerise to get the casuals to buy her who wouldn't normally buy a madonna album.
 
erotica was always going to be the release the press and industry would call her fall from grace. i think madonna knew this so used it as an opportunity to really go for it. the biggest criticism she ever faced was people saying she was using sex to sell. so why not release an album and book about sex and fetishes. everyone's talking about madonna being a vile sex obsessed whore so she took the idea of sex in pop and made an album about it.
cold, calculated and not primed to sell. it was genius

you'll is a mid 90's celine, mariah, whitney ballad (without the vocals obviously lol) but it's a beautiful ballad. take a bow is just cheese. hate it. makes sense that america would love it bck them. it's so soccer mum boring chintz. overrated and dull

Just my two cents...
if anyone has been harmed (in the long run) by the whole BTW "madonna inspiration/copycat" etc. it was Gaga. Think about it: Madonna has her body of work to prove that she was the source of inspiration of a lot of Gaga's stuff (in many levels). She has her status of "Queen of Pop" quite well cemented (not sure that is the correct word). Even if younger generations don't know much about her, when they discover her, they themselves see her uniqueness, her drive, her incomparable strength as a live performer, her intelligence and discipline. Just look at all those kids reviewing her work on youtube, and hear their comments. They all fall for her and feel Madonna's power, no matter how old the work they are reviewing is.
Meanwhile, Gaga's continuous switch of genres, image, etc. started showing its shallowness, mainly by her own wrongdoing in interviews ("i have always been a -introduce a certain genre- at heart since teenagehood") After a few times of saying that...people stop believing its authenticity.
Plus, her audience proved to be less adaptable to those genre changes than Madonna's fans. And I think that is because no matter what genre Madonna explored, she always made it her own, with a few exceptions obviously.
Gaga could have been unique, but she never explored her own talent/inspiration to its fullest. She got distracted. And her live concerts have always had a huge problem in dynamics and come across as too try hard. Whatever message she may have wanted to deliver  (if there was any), it got diluted by gimmicks. 
Gaga is talented, no doubt about it. But i don't think she has that thing that has made Madonna have a long-lasting and successful career, and such a "love her/hate her" kinda thing that Madonna has. 
They are very different artists. I just think Gaga has never found her "artistic soul" because she was too busy following what Interscope suggested. While Madonna...well, we know, she will do whatever she feels is right for her, even if that alienates her fandom. And that is why I still respect her and follow her after all these years: she is and has always been nothing but Madonna.
