I received my two copies today in the US. Love these tribute mags.

Better yet just have your own made. Plenty of sites online where you can have canvas prints made of your favorite M photo at reasonable prices. I just had my Gloss magazine recreation done and it's beautiful.

These are just video stills. I'm not aware of any on set shots by a professional photographer. I've only seen the one photo of Madonna with Break Dancers I think provided by Mary Lambert. A few of her early videos didn't have a professional photographer on set, like Lucky Star & Burning Up. If there was one, I've never seen any in print nor mention of them. Usually, a video screen still was used in print to accompany any mention of the video in magazine articles. Maybe back then the budgets for the videos just didn't allow for her to hire professional photographers. Back in those days people were using polaroid cameras, so I wouldn't be surprised if some exist.

If you haven't received your book yet I suggest e-mailing the publisher at: nick@njgstudio.com and ask for the tracking information by mentioning your order #. It is a registered mail piece, so it's supposed to be signed for. I received both of my books within a week time frame. One was left at my residence without having to sign for it which my mail carrier should not of done. The other I had to pick up at my local post office because I wasn't home to sign for it.

I’m in the US and received my book today. So they are arriving now from the UK. Love the pictures, but dislike the layout. A lot of the photos are not much bigger than the contact sheet previews. Plus some of the small ones are in the crease of the page . Don’t regret buying it, but I wish these publishers would get better layout designers. Overall I like the book for the content but it could of been better in my opinion.

I make my own custom poly sleeves for oversized items such as the hologram sleeve, box sets, books, etc..It’s easy to do . Just cut one side of each poly sleeve , place item inside then place other poly sleeve around the other side and tape. I’ve been doing his for years and it works great. All my oversized collectables are well protected.

agree, but the Virgin Tour and the hype around it with all the wannabe(s) did it IMO.

Wondering the same thing. No shipping confirmation yet and I can’t recall if Adore was trackable. I believe if you have “informed delivery” thru USPS the package tracking will show up as arriving soon once it hits US customs. I’ll let you know if I find out anything more.

This release would of been even more amazing if they had included a replica of the Gloss magazine cover as the gelatin print with the 100 strictly limited edition being sold. It seemed so obvious they should of incorporated the Gloss cover in the project somehow in my opinion.

This is EPIC! So was the photo shoot done on February 9 1984 and the video on February 12 1984? I've seen both dates attached to the Borderline video now. Kind of makes sense that the photos were done prior to the actual video shoot so they could be used as props in the video.

What are the specific dates or date of this shoot? I remember watching a video or clip of her saying she had a photo shoot the next day but can’t recall when that was. Probably late November or early December . Anyone know for sure?

So happy they are doing a re-issue. I first saw the original on display at a vinyl record show in my area back in 1993. The dealer was wanting a lot of $ even back then. I remember it being over $1000 and the dealer telling me the backstory. I thought that would be a picture disc I would never have. 30 years later and it is finally happening.
