I would really love a box set for each album, including remastered versions plus alternate mixes and b-side/demos, and some unreleased photos from the cover photoshoot.
I don't see that happening, unfortunately, but I still can dream...

"Like A Prayer" 35th anniversary today.
Sad there was a box set ready to go in 2019 and still got nothing, then or now.

32 years ago today she was working in the studio with Erotica and Jitterbug. Which is your favourite Erotica demo? All of them are special and unique. I like Thief (New Music) with his more promiment early 90's house vibe. Bye Bye first version sounds interesting, I whis a clearer version existed to hear all the experimentation with lyirics and tempos. I love that punchier house beat in Deeper demo. Actions on his primitive form is nice also. All Goodbye are great, love the version that became Fever (I wish they kept the same instrumentation and production wich is quite similar but superior in my opinion). The unreleaded tracks are great too!

Funny as I was just listening to Jitterbug yesterday. The bassline is cute, although Shep's drums didn't really seem to suit the feel they were going for, if indeed it was supposed to be something related to that time period. But then, when in the studio, you try out a lot of things, especially if it's already been booked

Goodbye to Innocence straight pass had the chance to be a real bomb but it lacked something, especially a strong chorus to give that electrifying bridge a proper climax. Still it's maybe the most interesting for me. I'm in love with the Erotica/You thrill me demo, as I am with Love Hurts, wich was recorded much ealier, the gorgeous (and who knows why fucking short) Bad girl demo with the electric guitar solo in it (wich gave an AMAZING shift to the track imo) and I do like the Thief of Hearts OLD music a lot 
Erotica is my favourite M album/era and that session is hot. The only better one in terms of unreleased and demos is ROL imo.

Not just this topic. In general, this end of the year has been quite "dead" in terms of leaks or unreleased musical material if we compare it to previous years. We couldn't even get a special video of Madonna wishing us a happy new year at the end. I can't imagine how busy Madonna's life must be so that she couldn't have a few free minutes to make a video with an end-of-year message for all those millions of people who love her. Videos should not be dedicated only to when we buy and sell out tickets to her shows.
Anyway, maybe by the end of this year 2024 things will be different and we will have a more communicative Madonna with her fans or some collector fan who does not lack empathy and decides to share some unpublished material with all those millions of Madonna fans that are scattered throughout the world. It is not for nothing that they say that the feeling of well-being that comes from sharing something with others is something incomparable.

It deserves its own thread for being the 'lost 3rd song from Vision Quest' for 20 years then rumored to be from funky band "I level" around 2006 before being finally labelled as recorded from an obscure band called "Shift 1"... I personnally never founded it sounded like Madonna but the legend was funny and many fans believed it, or wanted to believe it, so in a way it will always be the subsitute to Warning Signs...  Lies in your eyes see the lies on your eeeeeeyes... 

It would be so cool to get all the albums in deluxe editions. Especially most of all I want to hear a special edition of Bedtime Stories with Shep Pettibone demos. Of course even if the reedition of BS happens it doesn't mean that Madonna will include those demos. But I really want it. 

According to many members of this forum, this Bedtime Stories Demo Tape is fake, so here's a mp3 file with a running time of 4:43 minutes long. 
PS: It would be great if someone could share the full content of this tape to stop the business of the trader who made this fake set!

Are probably considered more outliers or second tier based on commercial appeal for Warner but may be ones that Madonna would want to champion. 
Bedtime Story and Hard Candy is no man’s land. Commercial big hitter because of Take A Bow and 4 Minutes commercial success and the Babyface /Justin connections and the success of Sticky & Sweet numbers. 
 
 

Amen 🙏 my point since August 2021 and I’m supposed to be grateful for vinyl with the same shit we’ve had for decades and be excited that I can stream the same stuff on my phone 🙄

its crazy they have tons and tons opportunity to put out something really amazing ( and with the big catalogue of madonna is not difficult at all), put out greatest hits and help streaming numbers go up .... and do nothing.... 
the Team of dolly parton is very smart on this....

i would love to know how much this "deal" was worth in the end and what was actually discussed in terms of what would be released along the line - i understand in M wanting final say but surely this deal was mostly for the fans who have supported her over the years by giving us something back in terms of unreleased material - i get that she wants to obtain new fans but lets be honest - most tweens and below really arent going to show that much interest in a 65 year old artist - so who does that leave to please ? US surely ? i just dont understand why its taking so long to get ONE expanded release out  - and if someone mentions FEL and those other pointless vinyl reissues and hologram sleeves - jog on - they were nothing special ....nor anything we havent heard before...

I was thinking on this for a long time.
In 1992 Sinéad O'Connor after singing a spirited re edition of Bob Marley's song War she just ripped off pope's John Paul II picture. Then, all hell broke loose. I remember as a kid a very distant echo of her act. She did this in order to protest about the fact that the catholic church knew and put a blanket on pedo rapists priests and their actions.
after this revolutionary act, Madonna was envious of this 'publicity' and decided to mock her protest openly my doing this:
which to me shows that all her revolutionary' talk was just that, words. She did everything to attract notoriety in the beggining of her career and then courted more fuel for controversy by releasing LAP in a well syncronised campaign by her company that led to the Pepsi fiasco. She gained millions. O' Conor was an original, a survivor. Madonna was just shalow and cheap.

I think the 40th Anniversary thing will still happen unless it's all intrinsically tied to the tour In terms of guest performers and remixes etc.
She could run with Sept 9th which is 9 weeks away which is a good amount of rest.. That's the Holiday single release which is actually her proper breakthrough single and bounce the album into quarter four. Obviously this is assuming she is well. I don't really want her yes and going things from her rest bed. She needs to switch off completely.
If nothing happens and they push it back til next year then I think the back catalogue singles roll out will resume to keep her streaming presence up. She and her team will not want to waste the streaming momentum by going awol for three months as this has all been a long term plan for some years now. 
But her health is 100% the most important. I do not want posthumous anniversaries. shudder. 
I bet this has shaken Guy O to his very core. 
 

Every day I wake up and come on this forum several times a day hoping they've announced an "expansive ultra deluxe edition" box set of Madonna.

They mentioned "expansive deluxe editions" being slowly curated by Madonna herself (or something along those lines) in the reissue statement, there's no way we won't get anything new. 

The thought of her passing by old demos and replacing them with newly written tracks in the style of the album that is being reissued both terrifies and delights me. 
I suppose it really is naive if any of us to think that any album reissue will not feature some new material. I’d actually much rather new material on them than more of the woeful features she’s been doing. None of the Michael Jackson reissues with new version have stood the test of time. 
 
Also where on earth was that news from Max Martin saying it’s like her old stuff? 
and which old stuff? lol? That’s the broadest statement ever. Much like Timberland saying Hard Candy was like Lucky Star

I've been wanting to do this for a while and I'm very happy with the final result.
It incorporates what I learned creating my Confessions box set in 3D, and gives my old art a bit more life. (2020 really doesn't feel like it was 3 years ago.)
A few things have been improved (some of the before/after moments are shocking!) but overall it should be what you know from the original version.
