  1. Yeah, the whole vibe (and the stream) is/feels so much better.
  2. Whatever sound issues there were last night have been fixed, and she seems in good spirits/less noticeably nervous. Show's great so far!
  3. Based on the livestream chit chat, she definitely seems more at ease tonight
  4. Like some others, the livestream last night didn't really meet my very high expectations (in part also because of seeing the Renaissance tour this summer, which floored me). However, having spent the day with HQ videos and better audio, the Celebration tour is fantastic. I'm loving the setlist, the campy fun nature of it, how she's using the entire stage, love Bob as an MC, the large tarps throughout the arena. I think the fortune my friends and I shelled out will be well-spent, when we see the show in December. Some areas could use a little finessing, as is often the case after opening night w/M's tours. Reactions have always been mixed after opening night; i remember people being very divided after Confessions opened, S&S, MDNA, Madame X.. Her shows are very polarizing at the start, but gradually as more of us actually SEE/EXPERIENCE the show, it seems to all even out. She's getting great reviews from the critics. I do hope she works out that Human Nature/Crazy for You transition, as well as adds a proper encore. Just slap Power of Goodbye after that abrupt ending as an encore and the general public and super fans will go home well-fed.
  5. Really neat interlude, wouldn't have minded this being more at the top of the show
  6. Really enjoying this rendition of Mother and Father, follows nicely from Don't Tell Me.
  7. Watch her cut it after tonight and replace it with Masterpiece or smth
  8. Absolutely. Thankfully, this new Record Industry pressing also doesn't have those annoying pops that all the GZ pressed records had in 2013 (near beginning of GGW).
  9. Initially, I passed on this, but my local record store had one in stock yesterday, and picked it up today. Sounds/look great!
  10. Loving the new track; her vocals sound fantastic and silky
  11. After hearing the full thing, I think I'll stick with Popular
  12. Ohh, mine also has the same type of wrinkle on the bottom left corner! Perhaps it's a batch issue from the distributor or something. Maybe our copies were intimately smushed together during transit
  13. Yeah, never had issues with FNAC before and the record mailers are usually ok. But with a record this heavy in a thin pvc sleeve, I'm not sure a replacement would arrive much better tbh. If they do partial refunds, like Amazon, I'll shoot them an email later.
  14. I was very pleasantly surprised as my expectations were quite low. Very minimal surface noise for a picture disc, which is also obscured by the tracks being cut quite loudly. I don't have the original picture disc to compare it to, but it sounds nice--heavy bass, too. Might compare it to my white Erotica album version record later. Not sure if this is the result of some sort of dedicated remastering effort, or the tracks just being mastered for the format.
  15. Fragile plastic at that. Mine arrived from FNAC today, lovely seem splits on 3 sides and dog ears on the insert. Nevertheless, the record itself looks beautiful.
  16. I'd especially love Confessions on vinyl (even if it's the shortened cd version).
  17. Finally got around to watching it; it's absolutely awful.. I love it
  18. Why is it so windy in all those album cover gifs? I do like her reaching down her crack in the Music one, and the pulsating LAV breasts Music and American Life are both some of my fave all thriller/no filler Madonna albums for me. I think Music is the better package, but listen to American Life more often.
  19. Alaska, Jinx, and Roxxxy waiting to see who will be crowned
  20. Sheesh, with European prices like this, it's cheaper to keep my Amazon US pre-order incl. shipping and customs.
  21. Mercury is owned by Universal. It's a completely official, just not the most interesting/topical, release.
  22. Several of the 2012/16 reissues are easily available on local Amazons here in Europe. Not the white Erotica, obvs, but the black repress is in stock pretty much everywhere.
  23. Probably like a diamond encrusted turd. Although to be fair, I've heard some surprisingly good picture discs in recent years.
  24. On Amazon, all tracks are also tagged as "(2022 Remaster)," excited to hear how those compare the versions of Erotica we have now.
  25. I'm sure we'll see more international Amazon links soon. Exciting we'll be able to get this (again)!
