Agreed. A friend of mine and I went to see her on tour for shits and giggles, and were very impressed by how good of live performer she turned out to be. I've come to really like her. The new song's cute, too--the video gave me Open Your Heart vibes. She's definitely got the attitude to play M, but I'm not sure about the tone of her voice. But who knows.. I'm definitely open to letting her convince me. Nevertheless, I think that whomever they'd choose (aside from Lola, I suppose) would never be able to please the entire fanbase anyway.

They did reimburse the cancellation insurance I had also purchased (eventho their website said it would not be refunded, which would have been...bizarre), so that was nice. The couple of euros of service costs weren't refunded. They also replied to my questions in French despite my messages being in English

Pretty sure she'd reappropriate the eyepatches as mouthguards So bizarre the tour ended like this.. The only Madonna show I was not able to see in over twenty years due to cancellations. Been watching recordings of the Girlie Show for some reason.

I'm side-eying this. Now, if they offered it to people whose shows were cancelled, or perhaps offered it at a discount to those fans, that'd be neat. But alas, with all those cancelled shows, Madame X needs some cash for a new pair of shoes

If anything, this tour has proven that she will keep working till she drops. Considering her insatiable drive, we do not have to fear her retiring anytime soon.

Same. The thought of Madonna just retiring and packing it up post-Madame X is a bizarre notion to me, considering how many people older than her are still active. Sure, she will likely take a long break now, and after that may rethink a future tour schedule and choreo, but no way this was her last tour.
