  1. Choppy? It only has one edit in the middle and it’s perfectly done. The beginning starts with the melody, and the end is a simple early fade. It’s one of her best edits for radio, without anything important left out. And personally I prefer the 7’’ version over the album version. The TIC version sounds like the vocals were recorded in the bathroom of a church.
  2. Some fans forget something very important. Many non-fans only know and love the versions played on the radio. And those are the versions they want in streaming (including me).
  3. I'm sorry, I don't have that version in any format (neither vinyl nor digital).
  4. It was reuploaded 30 seconds ago.
  5. Reuploaded [Hidden Content]
  6. It’s the same case as “Like A Prayer” and “Express Yourself”, with a mix similar to the album version as side A, and a remix edit as side B, but this time the roles were reversed, with the remix edit as side A and the 7’’ mix available only as a promo (as side B).
  7. Oh, have you forgotten how many fans referred to "Nothing Fails" as "Like A Prayer 2" for months in 2003? It was exhausting.
  8. I always wanted "True Blue 2", "Like A Prayer 2", "Erotica 2", "Confessions 2", and "MDNA 2". But that bitch never fulfilled my wishes... Maybe it's the best decision
  9. How can I explain this in English? Well, in 1989, I was the DJ at the end-of-year dance at a Catholic spanish school run by nuns. They explicitly prohibited me from playing Madonna’s music, labeling it as ‘cabaret music’ that was not suitable for girls aged between 14 and 18 years old. The funny thing is that many of those girls kept asking me to play ‘Like A Prayer’ all night long. I played it once, and the head nun ran out like the Road Runner to ask me to turn it off (she actually asked me very kindly) and I didn’t play it again.
  10. And Like A Prayer has "act of contrition", and True Blue has "jimmy, jimmy", and Confessions has "Push", and Hard Candy has "Spanish lessons"... So thanks to validate my point of view.
  11. No. MDNA won't win this because it has amazing songs. Wake up. My vote: Rebel Heart (I love the demo version but not the final version).
  12. Open Your Heart, because the remix/edit is my most wanted song "never available on digital before". Of course I want more remixes "only available on vinyl/cassette" (Burning Up, Dress You Up, Die Another Day, etc) but Open Your Heart is my favorite.
  13. My favorites are: True Blue, Like A Prayer, and Erotica. To me, they form a unique mega era. I also love with passion the Ray Of Light, Confessions, and MDNA eras. Of course, there are more eras that I love, others that I like, and some that I don’t care for as much.
  14. Oh please, there’s no need for you to feel sorry for me. This isn’t my first ‘I don’t like her music’ era since 1989. I can play hundreds of her songs and remixes while I eagerly await a new and exciting era. So it's not a problem for me.
  15. I would send the masters to hell itself to burn eternally Nah, It's a joke, but seriously, I don’t like them at all.
  16. Of course at the end its a Madonna decision, as always, but I still hate the idea of featuring singers.
  17. I believe those local edits stopped when Warner started distributing their material for all of Europe (and not WEA, which each country had its own distribution). Now, those local edits are made when a long song is released specifically as single for a certain country, for example: God Control (Radio Edit) for France. https://www.discogs.com/release/13979277-Madonna-God-Control
  18. Even though I heard Madonna’s song Burning Up first (without knowing she was the singer), I didn’t really know who Madonna was until she released Like A Virgin. And that’s true for almost everyone, especially outside the USA.
  19. No. It was always considered a documentary film. The concept of ‘Reality show’ started ten years later with ‘Big Brother’
  20. Here it is: [Hidden Content] Use the CUE file to play the FLAC file.
  21. Also, I don’t understand why they didn’t use the 7’’ Dance Edit as the base for the Q-Sound remix on the Immaculate Collection.. It's the best (dance) version
  22. Well, you're right. It's an unique "local" version (but it is official).
