Average assume that the Celebration "wonderfully mastered" version is the single version and it becomes the most popular one. But people don't care... The 70's, 80's and some of 90's were magic! You could listen one version on the radio, then you had a different one on the music video and then you got the album version that was different from the 7"/single one. Nowadays you don't even get proper single releases anymore. Everything is available on streaming after the album is released. Pointless

SD masters will always be better than upscales. It's not very usual, but SD masters can reach 1600x900 (between 720 and 1080) and I'd rather have them this way than upscales. Something I consider a crime is changing the colors and saturations. People like to be fooled, thinking that videos made years ago look like new.

The album is perfect, I would only remove Maluma and Anitta from all tracks.

I would die! Diana's legacy is the only one, in my opinion, as big as Madonna. Honestly, I'd die! hahaha And Michael and Madonna the same, but, I don't know, he's dead and I really don't like these posthumous releases. I'm not a big fan of reissues and remasters. Technically there's nothing missing for me about Madonna's music. I have everything, every version, every single mix. It'd be nice to have real unreleased songs, but Madonna is not like Diana Ross, for instance, that you can't find several 7", 12" and edit mixes. I always stick to the original mastering. Warner DESTROYED Prince's Purple Rain when they released the expanded edition. That's not Purple Rain, that a transgenic, a monster, it's so horrible. But what makes me excited is the video possibility. I really want the old tours in HD quality, won't say 4k, it'd be glad with HD blurays.

Today Mariah Carey released Fantasy, both the original and remix videos, in 4K. Unlike the previous "upgrades" for almost all her videos, these ones really look like real 4K and not upscale. Do you think we'll ever get this from Madonna? I was just imagining videos like Like A Virgin, Papa Don't Preach, Like A Prayer, Express Yourself, Vogue, Bedtime Story, Die Another Day and her entire videography in this quality. The best we've gotten so far is the Hung Up one. What do you guys think?

I don't think so. It'd be so great but musical/concert Blurays and DVDs are disappearing with time. I don't remember when I last saw a music video compilation being released as physical media. Or even concerts. Streaming is killing it. Music videos are on Youtube, concerts on streaming services, it's like the greatest hits concept. In terms of quality that's the worst thing ever.

Useless release. Adulterated music, compressed to hell, pointless. The original CD release or the Hi Res version are still superior and will always be.

I think I'm an ET because I simply don't use streaming at all! And the reason is that basically I don't give up my personal library to replace it for something I don't have control over. I mean, I'm a perfectionist. I have every album, every single, every version, everything organized, in the best quality possible. Streaming make us limited to what they offer. Madonna's discography available on streaming is a mess! They've changed the original tracks, they've changed the artworks, they've changed the masters, it's not great at all. My favorite music is not current music, from 20's to 90's, some of 00's, current music from current artists generally sucks (only my taste). I only like what the artists who started before keep doing. Like Madonna. The problem is: streaming gives us remasters, loud, compressed, horrible music (talking, specially about 70's and 80's), so I don't care if it's lossless or not, the master already sucks. I prefer CD quality with DR than a High Res file remastered and compressed. Example: Diana Ross, The Boss. You only find a horrible remaster online, not only on streaming but also to download. I'd NEVER replace my personal digital and physical copy to stream it and lose quality. (If someone wants the original mastering, please let me know so I can share it). Michael Jackson's albums were killed on remasters. And there're zillion examples. I prefer to pay VOX premium and create my own "streaming" than paying Spotify, Deezer, Tidal and etc... I know I sound like an "old mind" but I don't care. Quality comes first, that's the way I think.

Totally! They are super lazy! Even a UMatic tape sent to MTV or any TV station would be greater than DVD files.

The problem is: Like A Prayer is not easy tp upscale. The "jail" scenes, for instance, don't look great. Getting a VOB file to upscale would result in a lot of complaining. I don't believe they are using masters to upscale. Perhaps if they could locate a real master it'd be amazing. But upscaling LAP without a real great source it's not a great idea.
