It was 'in the press' that she said she'd been persuaded to sing it.
And now regrets doing so.
I'd say,
Get over yourself love, it was fantastic.
Remember that other f-word.....'fun' ?

it's a strange song...

even though I enjoy it, it comes across as a cheesy dance remix of a folk song. And I feel like it's one of those classic songs that shouldn't be touched. The doubled vocal in the chorus gives it this glossiness that seems artificial. but its definitely not the worst thing I've heard. 

The original song is bad imo, it didnt need a cover. Madonna does covers really well though. I like the remixes.
