  1. Disculpa pero no puedo tomar el satanismo con humor. Me parece algo sumamente peligroso. No tengo mala intención ni soy un troll. Esto me parece oscurísimo y sé de lo que hablo. Me extraña de ella. Saludos
  2. Please stop with that troll shit and the insults because I'm not insulting anybody. Am I a troll for saying something different? Neither am I a God fanatic (nor a Gaga fan!!!!) but I'm against this new wave of darkness that seems to impregn music. If she wants to say they're minotaurs and you believe her, it's OK. But I'm convinced that "minoutaur" is a trojan horse in which enters baphomet. Like an acceptabe way to present satan to the mainstream, to present evil as "cool". We know perfectly well how she loves to play with double-entendres and be controversial. And you all also know about the satan-worshippers Illuminati that are ruling the music industry today (governments too). I'm not saying that she's into that Illuminati shit, but i do believe she flirts with its imagery because it's -ugh- "trendy" and because she knows where the power rests. She's no full. Hence her new song. You don't mess with these shit people and get away with it. Darkness is not something to play with. I really wish she turns her back to that because it doesn't suit her and because the contradiction between her message of love and the imagery in which it's presented will be too evident to not laugh at.
  3. Si, es verdad. Está adentro. Y ella lo está exteriorizando
  4. Here we go again. Hey brazuca I did not insult YOU or make any derogatory comment about the vid. I just said what is apparent and nobody dares to say, but I think everybody turns the blind eye here and go out of thelselves to praise anything she does for fandom's sake. I'm a fan but that doesn't mean I have to love everything Nonna does. Worse has been said here about this vid and you didn't turn a hair. I have a PH in philosophy and I could have an in-depht discussion with you if you want, but I guess you won'te be a l'hauteur. So why waste my energy? OK: OMG the video was AWESOME! Nonna is so young-looking! She's so creative and on top of the trend!!!! OMG OMG OMG
  5. I hate to say this but I just hated it, not only because I expected something fresh and different (once again we have a flotilla of male dancers and once again we see Nonna wearing the same thing she's been wearing since her Open your heart video), but because I found it creepy and sinister. It gave me the chills. From the start "Living for love" is never the joyful and uplifting song it aims to be (even hard to dance to), but if you add satanic imagery to it, the result is just spooky. I find it hard to believe how this fact was overlooked in this thread on pure fandom's grounds. This is dark and at odds with the Nonna we came to know in the past. Enter Baphomet in a Trojan horse!!!
  6. Nonna's demos are traditionally better than the released versions. Only once Nonna released an unretouched demo, and that was Into the Groove. And that's because Susan Seidelman convinced her to do so.
  7. I'm not a collector but I have "The holiday collection" EP (1991), the "Holiday" 12'' picture disc (1991), the "sex" book, the "Fever" picture disc (1993), the "Bedtime story" UK 12'' (hologram sleeve), "Bedtime story" UK maxi-single (with story-book) and the limited edition of "Ray of light" with lenticular sleeve. Nothing too rare
  8. OK, the album is not bad. Nonna finally comes to terms with such difficult topics like aging, being dumped by a younger lover, physical insecurities, etc. There's also a certain revisionism of her career, almost as if she were saying good-bye. OK. Good lyrics. Mature lyrics. Too bad the music and production don't accompany this lyrical maturity. And here thereins the contradiction, the big paradox of Rebel heart: while it's lyrically mature and thoughtful (let's put the tacky SEX and Holy water aside), musically it's a very childish musically. When I say "childish" I mean destined to teen consumption. Lyrics and music just don't match. Neither does her voice and the production. As a matter of fact, the over-the-top, messy production (which I believe it was ghostly-supervised by the revolting Gaynye West) do little to her feminine and sweet voice. Neither it suit the melodies, which are pretty basic I must say. Nonna's vocals are not for dubstep, glitch or trap. Simply put, on "Rebel heart" production stands on one side, while voice and melody on the other, but sometimes they briefly connect to produce some gems like "Hold tight" or "Iconic" (both vastly improved from the demo versions). These are the more accomplished tracks, this is where she finally achieves the groundbreaking sound she's been aiming for. The rest is a desperate search for a trendy, youthful sound that seems to be elusive for Nonna in most of the album, as if she were unsure of the direction she's taking. Thanks God we have old-school, well-structured songs like "Ghostown", "Inside out" and "Heartbreak city", which proves that Nonna, when she chooses to, can write very good songs. Sadly, I don't think any classics will emerge from this album. No Nonna anthems here. "Living for love" fails in every way. There's something wrong with this track although I can't figure out what it is. One can easily note that she's not at all pleased with the outcome of the song either. OMG they completely ruined the HeartBreakCity chorus; Nonna's poignant vocals were softnened and Beautiful scars and Inside out (which was my fave track) were totes destroyed. All the others were improved, I think. Especially Joan of Arc, whose demo was a bore. Anyway I hope this is not the final version because it'd give me hope that the lack of cohesion of the album could be somehow fixed. But this is what it happens when you have too many cooks in the kitchen. Autotune baby is just weird, bizarre. I'm puzzled by this track. It ranks up there with Nonna's weirdest songs like Act of contrition, Supernatural or B-song. I still have the hope that she stops trying to gain new audiences and concentrate on her older fans, which are many.
  9. She looks like Thelma Stefani in the first pix. Bravo, Nonna! You still look great!
  10. Now everybody calls her "Nonna" or "La Nonna". A grown-up version of Nonni. I like Nonna, it suits her well
  11. Frank, tired of you. Seriously. What is all this backlash about? I have an opinion and I'm gonna express it. If Nonna would have shit coming out of her mouth, would you still applaud her? I bet you would, Frankie. Being a fan doesn't mean you have to like or accept everything she does. In this case, as in many others, I disagree with her "artistic" choices. And I don't why I can't express it. That doesn't make me a fan of that tacky Gaga. It seems catholicism is such an obvious target because it doesn't attain the power it had before. That's why she doesn't mess with the Jews: she knows where true power is. If Nonna would want to be a true rebel heart, I'd suggest her to lick a Star of David. That would be absolutely rebellious! AND, last but not least, after all the religious hatred ongoing in the world right now, I think this image is not cool at all. Besides this image emanates a dark, satanic feeling. Satanism is what is selling right now (check many album covers, check Rihassna vids, etc). She's no stranger to that. Illuminati shits either. Period.
  12. OK, Nonna. Lick a Kaballah stuff instead. That would be refreshing
  13. Hahaha, lick a fucking Coran, Nonna. And see what happens next.
