@sl-rp A Flac sounds identical to the original wav because YOU DON'T LOSE ANY DATA, YOU ONLY COMPRESS THE DATA, YOU DON'T ERASE ANY DATA. If you don't understand the difference between compress data and lose data then you will never understand how a lossless file works.

as you browse the web and inform yourself and read what you want, I do the same... I start from a mathematical foundation where to create a FLAC file tangle frequencies, it does not matter if after the conversion you do not have data loss on the surface, the rules of the universe are fixed: with a FLAC you create something new and you can never go back to the original... does the new file sound good? Yes, the new file is lossless? yes but it will never be the original file again because to create a FLAC you have deformed a WAV.
I won’t answer any more messages, we are for now in democracy so we don’t point the finger at people who think differently...

Democracy? Point the finger at people who think differently? Oh, come on!

We are talking about digital bits, numerical data and mathematical algorithms, not about the gay rights or about the Holy Trinity.

In Maths 1+1=2, and that is a fact, not an opinion.

Why do you have problems with a Wav compressed in FLAC but you don't have any problem with a Wav compressed in a Zip file downloaded from the web? They are equally compressed. Remember, a wav is just a digital file with numerical data. Every digital file (program, video, audio, picture...) is just a collection of numerical data.
