I think it’s really great to see famous people’s other talents. Lizzo on flute? amazing. I actually thought it was lovely when M was playing the Ukulele on RHT. Lately when she has a guitar with her she’s screaming her face off and calling everyone motherfuckers. But this was pleasant. I like pleasant guitar Madonna.

And you know what, that’s amazing! As much of a disconnect I had from this era it’s really great to hear that other fans did enjoy the show and had a blast.

And I guess I’ll never understand that. I think my idea of spending my rent on Madonna tickets, is leaving there sweaty and emotional and exhausted from dancing haha. This is why I’m so sad I missed the Confessions Tour.

This. 100%. You know, it’s very hard to be a Madonna fan. I think it’s very easy to come across some people in this world, who are so hardcore they’re absolutely delusional. 1- it’s ok to not be obsessed with everything she does and still gag over her every move. 2- it’s OK to refer to a “demo” and not even think twice if it’s “demo #4 straight pass rough take work print...”. Haha. But what I found normal, for me, was that this tour just wasn’t anything hype for me. I was actually kind of glad she skipped Canada. Having such few Madonna live experiences, I don’t know if I would have walked away wow’d. Probably. But who knows. But getting back to what you said, yes being perfectly fine with your honest feelings is absolutely normal.

There are very few songs that she emotes perfectly when singing it. Either emotionally or in her “take charge” vocals. When she sings about loss and despair, you hear it. When she sings or talks about sex, you feel it. When she expresses empowerment, you get it. The other stuff is just filler to me. Something I haven’t really heart from her in a very long time unfortunately. Lyrically she can speak the world about what she’s feeling. And some of her lyrics can be pretty fantastic. It’s just been a long time since I thought she emotionally connected to her own music. And that’s just me. As experimental Madame X was... I didn’t get any emotion from her. Maybe I couldn’t connect to it because she didn’t... or couldn’t convey it.

Absolutely not lol. Or who knows. Out of spite from the released leaks I would probably think 100% no.
