  1. No, that was just a rumour. According to Mike McKnight, the Headcleanr Rock Mix of "Love Profusion" was originally rehearsed as part of the second section of the Re-Invention Tour, following "Burning Up". Its place in the setlist was eventually taken by "Material Girl". Once the tour had started, the band tried to convince Madonna to replace "Nothing Fails" with an acoustic version of "Love Profusion" for the European leg. However, according to MadonnaTribe, Madonna herself never actually rehearsed that version of the song.
  2. The band played live, but most of the keyboard and sunny sounds were sampled from the original recordings.
  3. That's not quite true. The CBS special, which was supposed to be directed by Hamish Hamilton, was scrapped even before it was filmed. Hamish Hamilton only filmed a rehearsal of the entire show in Manchester. The footage shot in Lisbn for the DVD, which was eventually scrapped as well, was directed by Christian Lamb.
  4. Here's how I experienced Early Entry in Herning (Denmark): I started queueing at 7.30 a.m. and was #24 in the line. A handful of people had spent the entire night outside the arena (two people had been camping for 2 nights), but most of the people in front of me had arrived between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. You had to show up in person in order to be given a number, but once we had our number, we could leave for up to an hour at a time without losing our places in the queue. Since it was freezing cold and raining, M's team started registering Early Entry ticket holders at 3.30, a few hours earlier than scheduled. Upon registration, we were escorted to a designated Early Entry area in the foyer of the arena. At 5.30, the doors to the arena proper opened for Early Entry ticket holders. We were escorted into the arena in groups of 20 people at a time. When all 160 Early Entry ticket holders were inside the arena, doors opened for people with General Admission or seated tickets. I ended up front row at the tip of the heart stage. I left my spot twice before the show to go the cloakroom and, later, the loo and made my way back to my front-row spot without any probems. During the entire day, I came across only one bitchy or bossy fan: Although he had shown up late and was #150 in the queue, he was determined to get to the front row no matter what, even if that meant cutting the queue. However, M's VIP programme coordinator assured us that he wouldn't be allowed to cut the queue, and indeed he wasn't.
  5. For the Singapore gig to be given the go-ahead this time, The Sunday Times understands some songs may have to be dropped from the setlist. In other words: It's not happening! I'm quite sure the newspaper is referring to "Holy Water" and "S.E.X.", which would definitely have to be skipped in order for the Singapore authorities to give the show the green light, possibly also "Devil Pray".
  6. Sorry was 100% lipped during the Confessions Tour, apart from the last few lines, which were sung live on all shows.

  8. I started queueing at 7.30 a.m., was #24 in the Early Entry line, and ended up front row at the tip of the heart stage. The show was great! I was only disappointed by M skipping Dress You Up, but at least we got Ghosttown! Oh and I met up with @@thelament the day after the show.

  10. Here you go. Found this on IG: fab_and_otakuNot the best seat, but I'm so happy to be here #madonna #rebelhearttour #rebelheart #tele2arena #concert
  11. On the contrary, there's been nothing but rave reviews so far: "the triumph of the "Rebel Heart" tour is how it finds Madonna taking ownership of her legacy with an unprecedented maturity" - New York Daily "in a spare-no-expense theatrical spectacle that artfully flowed from showstopper to showstopper, she proved once again that she doesn’t just crave the spotlight — she owns it" - Montreal Gazette
