if her team follow prince re-issues - there is no reason we cant get both unreleased songs and live recordings - so far its just been the same old crap pressed on different colour vinyls - no thought has gone into this yet ...

thats all very nice but according to a lot of people we arent getting anything unreleased from her vaults making this campaign a complete a waste of time if you ask me ...

I don’t think anyone knows what “ remastering “ is now - it’s probably my most hated word on this forum now - all people do is just turn up the volume - remastering actually means going back to the multi tracks like Stuart has done with the celebration tour remixes - god I wish M would release those on streaming when the tour is over - I’m so over these single releases now and yet people want the same stuff we’ve had on our computers for years ???

I would take a laserdisc over anything her team upscale - at least it’s in its original form and to me they are no more cumbersome than vinyl - you still have to turn those fuckers over and my laserdisc player plays both sides anyway so I don’t have to get up to change it - I still have a lot of music concerts on laserdisc that have yet to be released even on dvd so I’m keeping them 😉

Why can’t we have streaming and physical? I Don’t see why they can’t co exist and I wish people would stop using Taylor swift as the benchmark here - her fans are not Madonna fans and totally different generation - I think the problem M team is having is trying to please everyone - it seems she favours streaming and vinyl judging by the releases so far - I’m just hoping this won’t be the case for the album reissues 🥹 I want a cd or dvd or blu ray as I need some visual element to go with these - she is a visual artist after all

They were definitely not released on laserdisc as it would have meant pressing a second disc just for 12 minutes of footage - laserdisc can only hold 2 hours of time on 2 sides - I was a big laserdisc collector and still have all her music tour titles plus Prince wonderful lovesexy tour 😉😘
