      The thing is: Taylor's PR team is working over time to have news about her (even the most unimportant info) shoved into everyone’s face on every social media platform. Some people are actively trying to avoid her but if even our somewhat-Taylor-free sanctuaries can’t protect us from her, what will?

      I won't complain about content in the "Other Music" section but a status update about her countless undeserved achievements? Really?

      @Holger judging from an early draft of the BAT, Everybody & Physical Attraction would have been included. The latter was originally on setlist instead of Where's The Party. Vogue was meant to go in the Art Deco segment. I'm guessing the other songs would have been Spanish Eyes and Till Death Do Us Part. They might have been replaced Hanky Panky & Sooner or Later.

    I’m rewatching The Madame X tour and goddamn how do so many of you think this album isn’t amazing. It’s so easily her best. The portuguese section of the show is PHENOMENAL. The emotion and power in Batuka! The absolute banger that is IDSIF. Crazy and Killers ughh beautiful! Do I even need to talk about Future like cmon… Extreme Occident is fucking amazing. I cannot get enough of this

      The album sucks. The vocoder probably hit a nerve and just rewired y'alls brains.

      Inconsistent sonically and thematically. From a song-writing perspective: probably some of her most amateurishly written songs/melodies. Production-wise: Okay but also quite terrible at times. The vocoder-effect destroys any emotional quality that could have been there. Bad cover versions of already popular songs, a very superficial theme that doesn't translate onto the album as a whole. Very odd editing on some songs and once again a track list that doesn't work.

      The dance songs sound dated and once again don't have a catchy melody or anything remarkable about them.

      Bottom line: An experiment that went horribly wrong.

    Thank you so much @Dee Jay AI Studios for sharing all this great stuff with us. It always bothered me how patchy my collection was with lots of song versions that were tagged as "unavailable" or "lossy". I really appreciate all of it.

      You do realize that all of this is coming mostly because the lead singer is dead, right? Queen also had a very successful biopic released a few years ago. We won't see this kind of legacy treatment for Madonna's catalogue until she's dead. That is just the sad truth. Why would they throw everything they have in the vaults on re-releases when she is still alive instead of saving it for a time when she's no longer there and can't make money by releasing new music?

    Will the Everybody 12" release ONLY include the US Extended Version and the US Dub or will it ALSO include the Rusty Egan mixes?

    Rusty Egan, as far as I know, has been approached by Madonna’s team for a digital copy of his mixes. I’m pretty sure that if it’s not going to be put on this release, they will include it on the digital EP. That said, Madonna HERSELF has confirmed that her re-issues will include rarities and UNRELEASED material. These little bits and pieces of things they are currently handing us, serve the purpose of bridging the gaps. I am sure they will continue the digital single re-issues soon.

      That’s what I was thinking! Why waste the rare stuff on random throwaway RSD releases (ESPECIALLY vinyls that aren’t even lossless)? Big artists rarely ever put out anything extremely valuable for that. 😅

      The album version is the only one that aged well. That dance version by Shep is the one that sounds absolutely dated nowadays.
