  1. From an artistic standpoint, Girlie Show wins hands down. I don't care what ya'll say
  2. I completely agree. My daughter and I got great seats for two of the dates, and while we have never had great seats before - always in the back - I will wait for as long as she needs. Her health comes first.
  3. I am so disappointed that I missed the vote-in. I need to check in more often. But your games are always quite fun! The finals were as I predicted, but my favorite tour is and always will be The Girlie Show!
  4. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. This is a great song; I wonder why he did not include it on ATWIAD. Then again, he had so many and limited space for release.
  5. I completely agree. I have been loving the packaging and the attention to detail, but the selection of music itself has been extremely lacking. And, you're right, completely out of order. I have "heard of" Heaven but have never actually heard it. Have you heard it? And, trust me, you are not being picky. Any of the faithful, including myself, feel the way that you feel.
  6. I have all of the reissues too since my only favorite artist before Madonna is Prince. I have the SOTT singles collection, too; I'm so proud of it that I have not even been able to open it lol. The estate's attention to detail has been wonderful but I just wish that they would release everything. Call me selfish but there is nothing that I would enjoy more.
  7. RM is a great song! Maybe it will get a treatment for TCT. Let's just cross our fingers. This could be absolutely killer on stage, and like most of you I will never understand why Madonna doesn't see the effects that it would have on her live audiences.
  8. In order from greatest to least: The Girlie Show 1993: this was just beyond, everything was on point! (my balls are swinging from left to right) Blonde Ambition 1990: the joviality, come-together feel was great! Like A Virgin 1985: the speech at Detroit-wow! Sticky And Sweet 2009: fun tribute to Michael! Drowned World 2001: the remix was awesome! Who's That Girl 1987: her whole demeanor, including the squealing, was cute! Reinvention Tour 2004: very different but epic! Rebel Heart 2015 - 2016: the acrobatics were cool!
  9. Who are you?! You must be banned immediately I love these songs. I'm going to have to give some deep thought on the 15 that I loathe. Give me some time on that.
  10. Blonde Ambition...there's just no way for that to be beaten. But my close second was TGS, which I'm surprised none of you appreciated the humor of. I absolutely loved it!
  11. So excited for those who got tickets! Have the times of your lives!!
  12. That last question had me falling off my rocker. But I hope she does a mix of everything and pays attention to the singles that hardly ever get any mind.
  13. Oh, I think she definitely does, no doubt. But I would love to see her on both platforms, in the big stadiums and in the smaller venues. They both have their advantages (and disadvantages). As for the 'X' stage, I love it! You are super-creative!
  14. However she does it, I just hope that she does it.
  15. But you know, if I could afford all that I'd be right there with them lol. But I will definitely be in the line getting my daughter and I some premium seats for one show!
  16. BEYOND, BEYOND, BEYOND! I will see you all in the ticket line suckas!
  17. AHHH!, this one was hard. Commercially, no doubt, it would go to "Like A Prayer". When that song came out, it had everyone circulating around the album. There couldn't have been better publicity. BUT...I'm thinking as far as the song itself or the impact it had. With that being said, my choice would go to "Everybody". What better impact than to introduce the world to the phenom we now know as Madonna?! It was the tune that started it all. My (close) second choice would be "Frozen". I still remember when I first saw its video; I was awestruck. I had already been an M fan for well over 10 years but nothing fixated me the way that it did (at least at that time). So, in order from 1st choice to last choice: "Everybody" "Frozen" "Music" "Like A Virgin" "Hung Up" "Like A Prayer" "Living For Love" "Erotica" "American Life" "4 Minutes" ”Live to Tell” ”Secret” ”Give Me All Your Luvin’” (Note: These songs are definitely not in the order of which I like best to which I like least, although I love "Everybody". Hell, some of these songs at the top of this list aren't even in my Top 100.)
  18. I told you that I would get back to you... MADONNA: SALVATION TOUR 1999 ACT 1 Dungeon 01. "Papa Don't Preach": I always thought that the opening of this song should also be an opening to a tour 02. "Burning Up": the lights should be way down low and the song should be slowed to a gloomy feel 03. "Erotica/Bad Girl": I can picture it in my head but can't describe it ACT 2 Flamenco 04. "Act Of Contrition": video interlude 05. "Everybody": somehow this song should segue into Act Of Contrition, more fast-paced 06. "Express Yourself": standard edition but with minor touches of the flamenco sound 07. "Bye Bye Baby": this song should be totally revamped 08. "Where’s The Party”: a full-out blasting party ACT 3 Street 09. “Deeper And Deeper”: “Latino”-girl style, should be able to segue in easily with WTP 10. “Think Of Me”: yep, I have always wanted to hear this live 11. “Where Life Begins”: slowed down version so that she can sit down 12. “Like A Prayer”: I love the remix that she did on the BAT but I can picture her just in jeans with cross, think LAP cover 13. “Secret”: give it a little more pep, a slightly faster version 14. “Holiday”: video interlude of her career span, I’ve always loved those ACT 4 Out Of The Darkness 15. “Secret Garden”: fairy tale-like, should involve a lot of props 16. “Till Death Do Us Part”: confession time, lowered lights with only a spotlight 17. “Something To Remember”: I LOOOOVE this song, just perform it already ACT 5 Into The Light 18. “Sky Fits Heaven”: again, should segue from STR 19. “Back In Business”: could be a hyped up song, she picks up energy and goes full kicking ass force 20. “Ray Of Light”: slow energy down just a bit from BIB, full sun background 21. “Open Your Heart”: this looks like her finale but then she segues into... 22. “Borderline”: lots of guitar, I like her guitar playing (I’m an axe-grinding female myself) ACT 6 80s Retro/Finale 23. “Angel”: she exits the stage for a good 10 minutes completely confusing everybody, but then comes back with a long remixed version of the song that made me love her in the first place 24. “Bedtime Story”: use hieroglyphics in the background? But don’t make it too far gone so that she can not segue easily 25. “The Power Of Good-bye”: I know it sounds cliché, but an ending with a simple microphone AND YES, FOR ALL THOSE CONCERNED, I AM VERY SERIOUS ABOUT THIS SET LIST.
  19. I would love to hear her perform this song live. Alas, I don't think it ever will be.
  20. I really agree! This would be way beyond interesting.
  21. I always love these kinds of lists. Give me a few hours and I will get back to you. She's got so much material, sometimes it's hard to choose.
